A nice and down to earth guy who made me laugh, he knew exactly what he wanted and watching him work was a pleasure. Highly recommend to any studio (you'll definitely learn a new lighting skill).

What can you say about a man that wears odd socks ? I rest my case !

Seriously I've had the pleasure of meeting Andy before but never worked with him until today 30th May.

I had a great 2 hour slot with Andy at Richard James Studio. The day before the shoot I emailed Andy asking if he wanted me to bring anything special for the shoot Yes came the reply a off the shoulder jumper . OK so I repacked my bag , We never used the Jumper ( Next time ) I seriously Loved working with Andy .He has a great imagination for creating ideas I loved the images I saw on the back of the camera I look forward to seeing the finished edits.I highly recommend Andy to all models and MUA's I hope I get the chance to work with Andy again ( less of the bad jokes next time ) I've added andy to my Christmas pressie list 1 pair of MATCHING sock's

Such a lovely guy with a great sense of humour, working with him was a pleasure.

Andy took time getting the best lighting & took his time to take shots over again so that everything looked spot on in the photos.

Really enjoyed this shoot & hope to shoot with Andy again in the future.

This dude alright I suppose.... haha ok ok Andy's great and I love shooting with him!

Very pleased I got to shoot with Andy again at the lovely Maunsel House as the location is perfect for Andy's style of work which I find stunning!

Always up for a laugh but also very professional and easy to shoot with. His pre comms are always spot on and I always leave a shoot hoping our next one is only round the corner.

Andy is cool, funny, a great photographer and someone who can always capture great images so go shoot with him! Highly recommended!

Had a short notice shoot I had arranged with Andy today in the lovely sunshine on location. Although it was rather windy but we did get some great shots! The location was WOW! I fell in love with it instantly excited to go back. Andy was as ever the perfect photographer and you have to have a bit of a laugh :)

Well what can I say! After 6 months planning we finally managed to get round to shooting together. Andy is very professional and a great laugh. He always made sure I was comfortable with what we were shooting and even helped me with my first art nude set and I liked the photos!!! which is a very rare thing as I am so self critical!! I was extremely pleased about the images I saw on the back of his camera and would shoot with him again in an instant Thankyou!!!

Had a great shoot with Andy yesterday at a themed group shoot- 50 Shades of Grey! He is a great photogrpaher and such a nice guy to work with. Even though he is professional he still managed to add in some cheeky banter along the way. He made me feel very comfortable and would love to work with him again! Overall, great experience!! Highhly recommend!!! :)

What can I say, not only did this lovely man give me a lift to the group shoot yesterday entertaining me along the way with tales but I was fortunate to shoot with him also.

His humour and professionalism makes working with him an absolute joy and having already seen some of the images have to say that he makes an old timer like me look pretty damn good!!!

If you do nothing else I would recommend that given the opportunity you work with this chap, for me it was well worth getting up at a silly hour and travelling for 2 hours in miserable weather.

Thank you for the brilliant shoot Andy!!! David and I had a great shoot with Andy at a group shoot in beautiful atmosphere. He is very professional, got great eyes for the light, easy to work with and made us comfortable to pose for him throughout the shoot. We were very lucky to meet him and got a chance to shoot with him.

For once I have no words! What a bloody brilliant shoot. Andy arrived on time, he picked me up and took me to a lovely indoor location. We shot from fashion up to art nude. From the back of the camera I loved so many of the shots, and I'm quite self critical but I loved almost all of them! He clearly knows his stuff! I left feeling a whole lot more confident in myself posing nude thanks to some helpful direction. I would shoot with Andy again in a heartbeat. if your offered a chance to shoot with him don't pass it up, your garanteed some excellent images in your portfolio as well as great company and a good laugh! Thank you for today, will keep my fingers crossed for a second shoot! :)

I could quite easily leave 15 references for Andy as I'm sure that's how many times we must have worked together over the years. Quite possibly my favourite photographer ever. Brilliant photographer, funny and cheeky and charming beyond words. If he wasn't married to his lovely wife, I'd probably have snapped him up....because he is just the nicest person to be around 💋💋 oh yeah and I recommend him !!

Andy is a total diamond. Punctual, chatty, friendly, professional and above all an absolute Gent! He made our shoot incredibly relaxed, fun and easy and all with excellent results. He is full of ideas and isn't afraid to try different things. I highly recommend working with Andy, and I would jump at the chance to shoot with him again in the future.

Very professional and great fun to shoot with! Great easy directions even with the limited space we had for our shoot and best of all a great laugh I thoroughly enjoy my time shooting with Andy and would definitely do it again in the future of the opportunity arose. I modelled for Jake just a couple of days ago at a workshop with Damien Lovegrove planned by Jean mua. The location, makeup, styling etc was pretty amazing to say the least'

Jake was a good laugh and easy to get on with I like that he showed me back of camera shots and gave direction when he wanted a certain shot, he let me pose freely and really caught me from the right flattering angles!

So pleased with the image he has uploaded and it's had brilliant feedback.

Jake41 very kindly travelled to my home in Somerset today for my first (of many I hope) shoots with him, this was my first Art Nude shoot as well, and, Jake41 walked me through each of the poses that we wanted to try with patience and professionalism. He is fun to work with and puts you at ease very quickly. I'm very pleased that my first shoot of this style was done with him. Highly recommend working with this photographer.

Had a shoot with Jake41 yesterday and the shoot went extremely well. I am very happy with the images he had captured, and he has certainly done me justice :) .He is very friendly and very funny making atmosphere very relaxed.

He is so professional, and very easy to work with. He even provided lunch which was extremely kind as was not expecting.

I would highly recommend jake41 as you certainly would not be disappointed with images produced.

Took me a long time to shoot with Andy due for my illness!! Everything I waited for brilliant fun good chat amazing picture in fact i took the best picture of 2011 and personal favorite picture of all time!!

would love to work with him again, and can recommend him enough.

A must for every model portfolio especially glamour lingerie and art nude.
