References for Iris Ferret

I am so ridiculously happy that I finally got the chance to work with Iris! You can see from her images how talented she is, both as a photographer and an image manipulator/editor, so you can probably guess how excited I was to have the opportunity to collaborate.

We met at a mermaid-themed workshop (hosted by Maria Mirage) at The Mumbles in South Wales. There were three photographers and three models and we were on a sort of 'rotation' so that each model was able to work with each photographer one-on-one during the 4 hours we were there.

Iris and I were paired up first and I couldn't have been happier with our set! Of course, I was already living my fantasy as a mermaid and feeling absolutely magical, but Iris just made everything so much more enjoyable. Not only is she a fantastic photographer but she is such a pleasure to be around. I can't believe how quickly our time flew by - I could have stayed shooting with Iris for hours!

I really appreciate the lengths she went to to get the perfect shot; clambering up the rocks, climbing to the very top of a ladder, crouching on the edge of a cliff - if my face looks worried in any of the pictures, it's most likely because I was fearing for her safety, haha!

I can't wait to see the final images, I am so excited to look like a real mermaid! Thank you for helping me live my dream. And thank you for letting Freddy come and be my sailor prince in some of the photos, he had a blast!

I would definitely jump at the chance to work with Iris again, any time any place. She has my highest recommendations! ♥

I had been following Iris Ferret on Instagram for a while now, and I'm so pleased we were able to meet at a group photo event in Swansea. Our time shooting together was tragically brief, but we clicked right away. She's fun and easy to talk to, really dedicated to getting the shot, and so imaginative with her shot ideas! I want to return to Wales specifically to shoot with her again. Would recommend!

I worked with Iris on the Moon Goddess shoot.

Prior to the shoot, her communication was amazing, she was precise about what she wanted, with images to inspire the makeup so it wasn't hard to create a final look that fitted her vision.

On the day she was friendly and easy to work with. Not long after arriving, we realised we'd worked together a few years ago. She was so easy to get on with and chat with while we set up and did the makeup.

When she started shooting her energy and enthusiasm was infectious. You can tell she loves what she does and it shows in her final images. And her skills as an editor is brilliant and brought the whole idea to life.

I would highly recommend working with Iris if you get the chance, she has so many great ideas and she does all she can to realise that vision, including creating props.

I look forward to working with her again! I can't wait to see what we can create next!

I had an amazing shoot with Iris today for the first time and I am so glad about it!

She has so friendly and kind personality which made me feel so comfortable to work around her.

I've been really surprised how well prepared and professional she was! She brought many props with her and even provided me with a gorgeous dress.

Her creative and fantasy ideas were so special and what I've already seen on the back of the camera so far, showed me how many fabulous pictures we made and I can't be more happy about it.

I can't wait to see the final results after her skilled edit and I highly recommend her to everyone.

I got to work with this incredible talented photographer and editor lately on a enchanting mother nature inspired shoot.

We previously discussed this shoot prior to lockdown so i am so so glad we got to do this shoot.

It is always a pure joy and such a wonderful experience working with iris ferret.

She is passionate easy going and proffesional.

Her ideas for composites always blow me away. Simply genius.

We managed to get 4 different sets from this shoot.

The first look was a 50s style dress with some beautiful sun flowers, followed by our planned mother nature shoot, some implied nude with a venecian mask and some emotive style portraits.

I am over the moon with every set we created and i will forever love working with this incredible lady.

I recommend anyone of any experience to work with this wonderful photographer.

Ahhh what can I say!

Second time shooting together and its been on our bucket list to work together again but always kept missing each other! I honestly admire Kari and her creativity - it really made all my dreams come true and so nice to do something FUN and not the standard shoot!

From floating candles to burning a book and dodging the flames (the candid pics haha)- I actually loved it and time goes so fast!

Always so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable - Kari is someone who works hard but it doesn't feel like work! Meeting an old friend is 100% the vibe!

Always excited to come back to Wales and hopefully round 3 happens!

Cant wait to see the edits and 10000% recommended because - why wouldn't you??? Her portfolio speaks for its self!

I absolutely loved working with this incredibly talented and creative lady.

I'm more of a see what happens kinda gal on shoots but Iris came with ideas and plans and they worked! :)

Iris is kind and chatty and was very considerate on the shoot always making sure I was happy and warm on a bit of a cold and drizzly summers day. She also came armed with some lovely dresses and lots of interesting props to use.

I really couldn't recommend working with this lady more and I'm so happy with the stunning images she is sending me.

Been planning to work with iris for nearly a year... But we finally did a shoot 😁😁 was a completely different plan and idea from the original but we both worked around things and i must say what a women to work with. Friendly easy goong and down to earth. We did a mother daughter shoot which has been a dream for my little girl for a while now, and to get to share my modelling and have a wonderful experience together, was amazing and i can not thank you enough for that. 😘

Can not wait to see what you have created. Also definetly need to arrange another shoot for this year!!

I'm new to more revealing categories and couldnt be more thankful for how laid back they both were and how comfortable they made me feel with it all. After discussing another shoot with this insanely talanted photographer, we recently managed to arrange a shoot.

Pre coms were spot on discussing various ideas we did a widow shoot and also did a couple unplanned random sets whitch is always a good thing.

She brought props and helped me get down into awkward areas outside in my heeled boots.

Proffesional and such a joy to work with.

I always have the best time working with iris ferret she is so creative and litterally climbs bends and lays down to get the shots she needs. Motivated and passionate for what she does I couldn't reccommend her enough. Her work speaks for itself. Her use of natural light and the way she edits her images really brings the image to life.

Already discussing another shoot. highly recommend working with this lady and booking her asap. Look forward to working with this talented artist again soon.

First time shooting with kari and hopefully not the last.

Working with kari was a dream, the shoot went great from start to finish.

Kari is full of energy and makes the shoot run smoothly, she makes you feel comfortable and at ease during the shoot and ensures plenty of laughs throughout.

Kari also kindly provided travel for me to the forest.

Lastly the images we got from the shoot are just beautiful. I loved so many from the back of camera and now seeing the edits start to come in it's clear we got some ace images.

Highly recommended, definitely take the opportunity to work with kari if it arises.

Ahh, I dont even know where to begin!

I was visiting my nanny in S.Wales and have wanted to work with Kari for a while due to her work being full of nature and to be honest, something different!!

I was instantly draw to her page and the realness of it. We met up last minute and went into our local woods - honestly theres not enough words to describe how awesome the shoot was!

All the fairy, nymph vibes - getting berries thrown at us from the kids, making sure we didnt fall into the water, a guy nearly falling off his bike. Safe to say it was the funniest shoot - really felt like meeting with an old friend! So full of imagination who is so easy and chilled to be around!

1000% recommended!! x

Iris is an absolute star!

We literally only got into contact a few days ago to arrange a shoot, luckily we were both available today where we both done our first home shoot! And it couldn't have gone any better.

Iris is a bundle of absolute joy to work with, enthusiastic and bubbly which is right up my street! We got along straight away, we were both excited to work together.

Iris knew exactly what she was doing, she came in set up her lights and had various lenses to choose from which she would change suitable for the right set. Iris is super easy to work with, she's an absolute delight to work with and because of her experience in the industry I was just super comfortable - so for anyone starting out also, I would highly recommend shooting with Iris.

The images came out better than I expected I'm super pleased! We'll definitely be shooting again! She's one to remember!

I recently had the absolute privilege of meeting IrisFerret and doing a photoshoot with her in South Wales. IrisFerret is a wonderful and lovely lady and a very inventive, imaginative and inspiring photographer. I felt very comfortable in her company, like I was shooting with an old friend and she gave direction where needed and lots of cool ideas. Worked with Kari for the first time a few days ago and where do I start. Pre coms were perfect. We both had ideas and just so happened to both have an idea for a voodoo doll shoot. Kari is such a creative humble talented photographer with a truly whimsical enthusiastic mindset. Her ideas for creative composites and simply genius. I had my first ever shoot with Kari on Friday, the communication in the weeks and days leading up to the shoot was second to none. As a new model I asked whether there was anything specific I could or needed to bring. Kari was full of advice from the start. Kari chose a beautiful location being Clyne Gardens, which I'm eager to go back to. Kari is a very warm welcoming person and I think we instantly gelled. I'm glad Kari chose this location as my first as I'm a nature girl myself and feel most comfortable and grounded being surrounded by trees and nature. Kari gave excellent direction as well as giving me free reign on posses once I got into it. Time flew during our shoot and I feel as though we bounced off each other often coming up with the same /similar ideas towards the end. Her partner also accompanied us on shoot and was very helpful and encouring throughout giving great advice. I'm excited to see the edits and what Kari has come up with as I know we had some great shots. Kari certainly has a natural flare for photography and her passion is clear during shoots. I can't wait to work with her again. I would highly recommend Kari for shoots especially if your looking for direction and something a bit different.

Had such an amazing shoot today, the location was so mystical! (Woking with lris was such a delight) I have been really looking forward working with her and I'm most definitely excited to work with her again!!!
