In the Light73

I am a developing amateur modelling photographer, with a good eye for detail and a unique, striking photographic image. I have what I feel is a promising eye for photographic composition, light, shade and use of contrasting angles. I am equally happy to experiment with both colour and black and white photography. While I currently work full time in a different sector this is an interest which I have wanted to develop and explore for some time. I have been told that I am always professional and very easy to work with. I have a reasonably good digital camera and am keen to learn and develop my photographic talent as fully as possible. I am also a people person and am able to quickly build a rapport with the great majority of those I meet. With time and practise, I am very motivated to become a much better photographer and to attain at least a good amateur level.

It is crucial for me to build a strong, warm  collaborative working relationship with the models I shoot. I am really motivated by bringing the very best out of my photographic subject and bringing out their natural beauty in new and subtly different ways that may never have been explored before. I try to explore and discern the particular strengths and features of my model and to produce something really striking, original and new. Whilst I approach every shoot with a fairly clear idea of what I want to achieve, I am not afraid to improvise and innovate on the spot and am very receptive to any creative ideas and feedback. Finally, I hope that any model with whom I work will be very happy with the images which I strive to create for them, this is certainly my aim!
