Third shoot with Iain now - and our second one done remotely!! :D I think this shoot was the perfect example of how you can develop a really fabulous working rapport over the course of several shoots and get to a point where you really bounce off each other so well! We totally SLAYED the images we did this time at my home... Some of my favourite remote work to-date, and the start of yet further inspo that led Iain and I to book yet another remote shoot in the diary. :D

We had completely different environments for me to pose in this time (compared to the office/studio where we shot before. Starting with me throwing myself into the garden as huge snowflakes started falling! :P Iain didn’t actually seem too surprised, so I can tell he’s getting used to working with me haha! That gave us something very unique - before cracking on with cute boudoir style images, some implied/artistic window shots and even a touch of bridal with a twist! :D How we crammed all this good stuff in I have no idea... But I can confirm once again that Iain was a true sport to work with and really got in the groove with each set we did - his own mind spinning and thinking up things as the various shots were bagged, and dealing with the technicalities effortlessly after having the remote shooting experience now under his wing. :) Iain is extremely enthusiastic about shooting - that’s for sure! I honestly couldn’t wait to get his pictures transferred over to him because he took some seriously good stuff and I was so buzzing at the end of such a highly creative couple of hours. 😅

Time flew - as it has done in the past... Iain is the loveliest soul you could meet and talk to; so simply catching up with him and chattering away as we work is really nice. He communicates very well prior to any shoot: and conducts himself respectfully and well mannered all the time. A true gentleman with the biggest heart of gold who I will recommend time and time again - and always look forward to working with again! :D

Watch this space - cause Iain and I are well underway with discussions for our next forthcoming shoot and the rock-n-roll stuff we plan to do! And I’m turning my house into a full on photographic playground with the adrenaline I’m getting from all these ace shoots haha! See what it does to you?

Iain and I did another remote shoot, this time with a newspaper theme, with J Black Photographic as the assistant. As with our previous shoot, pre shoot communications were excellent and he was a perfect gentleman, polite and professional.

All in all, a fantastic shoot which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Iain embarked on a remote shoot with myself and J Black Photographic as the assistant and from pre shoot communications through to the shoot he was a perfect gentleman, polite and professional. Conversation easily flowed and we got some amazing results. He sent through a mood board of ideas and John and I worked to the brief providing the lighting and clothing he'd requested.

All in all, a fantastic shoot which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Had a wonderful second-ever shoot with Iain - this time we shot remotely for the first time! :D

Iain was completely new to remote shooting, so I was over the moon that he was willing to give it a go (given that I was unsure when I’d be able to tour his neck of the woods again). For our first shoot we worked at the studio/office space I have access to - we took our first shots outside on the terrace as the sun went down and then migrated to get some lovely images inside. It was a very productive shoot indeed! We used my lighting kit since the light disappears quite early in the evening when we were due to shoot - Iain was really easy going and happy to have my recommendations on how to light the different looks and sets that we did. Whilst it may feel like a photographer can’t see the full environment when working virtually - the teamwork and trust that photographers have in their models makes the process something which you can still bag lovely results. :) And I really feel like we did - from lingerie/portraits to reflections in a window and art nudes in the open studio space. Iain was still keen to be “involved” in the shoot and chat about garment possibilities and what concepts could be shot from the location. He really got into it. :D

We had fun shooting too which is always important. Positive interactions are a godsend during this pandemic/lockdown, so being able to work virtually, live chat and collaborate on ideas and creativity is very vital to keeping us going as creative folks. Iain and I had a laugh just as you would on a “normal” shoot. His patience was absolutely brilliant as I moved the sets around and he got to grips with the controls, which is a bit alien for a first-time remote shooter. But ultimately the session flowed so well. :D

A real gentleman who I would happily recommend to anyone... And we’re already planning to do it again!

First time shooting with Iain yesterday, couldn't have gone better.

Pre-comms were very clear, full explanation of expectations on the day of shooting was laid out. When it came to shooting, Iain gave clarity towards each look we were trying to achieve and also listened to my suggestions along the way...a truly collaborative and respected input experience.

I hope to shoot with Iain again, and highly recommend for any other model to work with him.

Inked Blonde Model

Had a second shoot with Iain tonight at Studio13 in Renfrew.

Iain turned up on time and we had a chat through what we wanted to do with our time together. Iain is an easy going guy who is happy to go with the flow and just create images with whatever you bring along.

We had pre-shoot discussions of a rock chick theme but Iain also wanted to do some fashion looks too. We worked our way through 7 looks and even tried some motion snaps which was new to Iain.

We had a great shoot, conversation was flowing and time passed quickly. I would recommend Iain to other models!

Aurora Violet

I had a superb second shoot with Iain, shooting socially distanced in my garden again, this time concentrating on some twenties vintage looks with wonderful results. We enjoyed a very productive shoot with the perfect conditions.

Iain arrived promptly and as before his communications leading up to our shoot were excellent and he was good at giving direction during shooting also. He will show you the images as you are going along which really helps so you can give your input and change anything with regards to your pose etc.

Friendly, kind and full of fun banter. Iain is also always looking out for your safety and making sure you are happy with everything.

Our shoot went so fast and we captured a fabulous mixture of vintage looks.

I really enjoyed our time working together again and look forward to next time.

Highly recommended, do not miss out. Professional, a complete gentleman and very respectful.

A complete joy to spend your time creating lovely images with and trying to push his photography passion and capture wonderful images.

Had a great first shoot with Iain today. Great communication prior to shoot and from start to finish he was very polite, friendly and professional. He has great eye for detail and very enthusiastic and chatty and from behind the camera the shots look fantastic!

Working with Iain for the first time I found him to be polite and respectful. Communication before shoot was good, would love to see the use of moodboards/inspiration pictures to plan looks/theme for shoots.

I worked with Iain for the very first time on a recent/impromptu visit to Glasgow/Clydesdale... And one thing I can say for sure is that it will not be our last shoot! :D

Iain was fabulous: our shoot was extremely last minute, and literally even on my way up we were still texting and planning what we could do/where we could go! We didn’t have the most glorious of days either so we got thrown right in at the deep end to think on the moment and gel whilst using what location resources we had in the short time we were shooting. Bravo to Iain for his positive attitude and enthusiasm the whole way though... We let nothing beat us that day and managed to produce some really lovely shots with pretty woodland and riverscape backgrounds. :) It goes to show that with great team willingness and a rapport formed - you can do it! Even when the weather, time to plan and limited local knowledge seem against you. We ended the shoot absolutely determined to plan another one the minute I drag myself back to Bonnie Scotland - and this is exactly what we will do! :D I have no end of thanks to give to Iain for this very pleasant first shoot together, and after a very effortless gelling from the word go: it’s given me total confidence that we’ll smash it on shoot number two.

In-person Iain is polite, well-mannered and really down to earth. I found him to be a very respectful gentleman, and someone that I imagine all models getting on with very easily. :) We chatted NON-STOP throughout the whole shoot about all sorts and really had a good social crack as well as making cool images. I therefore highly recommend him as a safe and very decent person to work with, and just a wonderful character to be in the company of too!

Iain took on so many challenges on the day we shot: from reduced light levels at the more sheltered locations, to trying to keep raindrops and steam off his lens! And also working fast at the slightly more exposed location where we finished up! Nothing phased him - seriously what a star!

Thank you so much for everything Iain - I really appreciated the lot from your brilliant communications right at the last moment, your willingness to go for it even when the weather looked dreary, and the sheer fun I had shooting with you as well! :D Roll on the next time!

I enjoyed meeting and working with Iain for the first time recently shooting socially distanced in my garden location just outside Perth. We enjoyed working on some art nude and vintage/retro styles with some beautiful results. Our time flew by but was also productive and Iain is very lovely company.

Arriving full of enthusiasm, Iain is very respectful, professional, friendly and eager to learn more. Once arriving Iain had a look around my garden getting a feel for where he wanted me to pose exploring different backgrounds and using the natural light to our advantage.

He was happy for me to flow through poses but also good at giving direction where required. His communications leading up to our shoot were spot on so I knew exactly what was required for our shoot.

A complete gentleman and a lovely person, we had a fabulous shoot with wonderful results produced and I really look forward to next time.

I highly recommend Iain to all creatives. Do not miss out on the opportunity to work with a delightful person, passionate to take creative and beautiful images.

Great to welcome Iain back to the studio with Fatheha as his model.

They both took the Covid 19 precautions required and from their feedback at the end, had a successful shoot.

Had my first shoot with Iain today, finally after having to postpone it and I really enjoyed my time with him. He has a great eye for shots and the communication was always top!
