Barney's experience and skillset with lighting, equipment and setup is fantastic. Having worked with him before I felt comfortable and trusted him with his composition and work process. I modelled in a casual outfit for my acting portfolio and a more unique alternative outfit for Purpleport.

Communication is excellent and he really knows how to instruct models for the best poses, he is able to put himself in the model's shoes and make the most of everything that is possible in a studio. I've definitely learned a lot working with him and look forward to working again in future.

I had a great communication with him before we met and I did 2 days of photo shooting in his studio in April. The equipment and accessories are numerous. I attended a shoot yesterday with lovely teen model Ella at Barney’s studio and really enjoyed the experience! For a small studio it’s packed with everything a photographer needs in terms of equipment and Barney was extremely accommodating with helping me achieve the right lighting for my floral theme. Would definitely recommend to other photographers and will be back again soon. 👍😀

Zoom Out

I had my first experience of Hangleton Lane Studio today and what a great place! It's a very cleverly designed studio which despite it's size kept presenting me with new options even after six hours! Barney is lovely and had given me detailed instructions on everything I could possibly need to know during the hire. It's incredibly well equipped, well heated and has easy parking. We had a really great shoot and got some cool results!

I will definitely book the studio again next time I am in the area and highly recommend it to photographers of all abilities.

A R G E N T U M

I normally work outdoors with available light, and this was my first ever studio shoot.

Working in a studio gives you control over the lighting conditions, and this allowed me to shoot for tone and contrast in black and white. I explained how I’d like the shots to look, and Fred the studio technician set up the lighting perfectly every time.

Both Fred and Barney were very likeable and extremely knowledgeable. The studio had a good atmosphere, with the models and photographers being relaxed and enjoying good rapport. I had a one-hour slot with BOou and I’m very pleased with the results.

I look forward to working at Hangleton Lane again.

My third visit to Hangleton Lane for a duo studio day and as always, very welcoming. Loads of equipment and props. Plenty of help with lighting,camera settings etc if needed which for me was a big yes 😂. Tea and coffee provided with the added bonus of biscuits 🍪 Hobnobs no less.

Thanks for another great experience and would highly recommend this fantastic studio.

A lovely, quaint, little studio that's not too far off the beaten track. It's a warm space with all the lighting and props that you could ever dream of. BOou and I used this space for our duo studio day, and it was so very enjoyable. Both Barney and Fred are incredibly accommodating and hospitable. What this place may lack in size, it certainly makes up for in character and personality thanks to Barney and Fred. I would definitely return here as the possibilities are definitely endless.

It also features a curtained changing area, a bathroom with shower, and a small kitchenette area with a fridge and microwave - perfect for touring creatives!

I also can not fault Barney's communications at all. His directions are clear and precise too!

I had the pleasure to meet Barney and Fred during my studio day with Rachyy. Both were adorable and helped each photographer for the lighting set-up.

The studio is well equipped with different backgrounds, a kitchenette, a bathroom, a model room, some props, outfits and a hairdryer.

Barney nicely picked me up from the station and dropped me back and Fred kindly bought me a lunch. Snacks and tea were at the disposal as well.

And such a good atmosphere, which I believe is quite important. Felt very comfortable there!

Thank you for this opportunity Barney, and thank's to Fred as well for your help you both were great!

Highly recommended to both photographers and models!

Had another visit to to the studio today, this time to shoot Meera Rose. As usual the studio was clean, tidy, and ready to go. Barney's a very friendly guy who is always will ing to help you set your lights and sets just how you want them. He also makes a cracking cup of coffee.

I had a fantastic shoot at Hangleton Lane Studio! This was a shoot with two other photographers, Obie and Paul. The studio is extremely well equipped in terms of lights, backdrops which can be quickly changed and lots of props/clothing. It is also cosy and comfortable with a great changing area and refreshments.

Barney was easy to communicate with pre-shoot. He was very welcoming and friendly, and kindly collected me from the nearby Goring-by-Sea station. He was full of great advice and knowledge as well. The shoot went fabulously- I felt like there was a nice relaxed atmosphere and everybody was having a good time. Would highly recommend this studio and I’d love to return to shoot there again!

I had my first studio day at the start of January and I really felt the hours flew by.

The photographers I worked with were lovely and sociable and knew what they wanted.

The studio was very comfortable with good space to get ready and store my things and the studio owner was an absolute gent!

The studio is a lovely little place, plenty of space, two places for you to get changed in and some spare clothing you can try on (the wedding dress is quite cute!)

I love working in Hangleton Lane studio, it hit the perfect balance of being big enough to have all the tech and space needed but is cozy and comfortable so as not to feel lost inside it. Organising times and dates are effortless with Barney and communication is 100%
