Had a shoot at this studio and will definitely be doing another shoot her. From sending the directions, to instructions with the equipment Barney was very precise. He was kind enough to allow me and photographer Tim Winter to do a powder shoot, and after a very warm lovely welcome left us to it with no interruptions. The studio is well equipped and a is a present place to work in.

When I asked Barney if he would mind me sheeting up his Studio and making a mess I heard that sharp intake of breath then he agreed. Barney is extremely friendly and helpful and allowed me time to sheet the studio without eating into our studio time. We had the studio to ourselves without any interruptions. The equipment was all working and ready to go and we had an extremely successful shoot. I would definitely recommend Barney's studio and will most certainly be shooting there again. Thank you.

booked the studio for a shoot on tuesday i cannot say enough great stuff i love this place nice warm welcome and had a great time i even booked it again for the Saturday morning and i will keep coming back here always a pleasure ill be booking up again soon and i cant wait

My first visit to Hangleton was for a day long shoot.

Warm greeting from Barney on arrival who quickly made me feel welcome. Kettle was quickly fired up, always a good sign.

Studio has plenty of lighting options available with a good selection of modifiers. Allowed us to achieve most of the images we set out to (those we missed were more my lack of pre-planning than the studio).

Plenty of space to work in, and a varied selection of backdrops and props available.

Recommended, will use again, shame it's not just a little closer.

Spent 4 hours at Hangleton Lane with Serenity. Barney gave us a warm welcome and had the studio nicely warmed up for us. A detailed run through of all the lighting and backdrop options followed and we were encouraged to make full use of all of the facilities. A very relaxed atmosphere with tea/coffee and biscuits in plentiful supply. Thank you Barney

Barney who runs the studio responded to my queries ahead of my first visit. He also arranged for me to be met and returned to station as I came by train from London, without which I may not have been able to commit. I worked with Amelie Alden and we were able to achieve worthwhile images with what the studio provides. Unfortunately Barney was not able to stay during my shoot but I found him personable upon meeting. He also provided me with some useful local knowledge which I used to good effect, the surrounding area is well worth exploring if you like to combine a shoot with adventures into the unknown.

Hangleton Lane Studio hosted a recent model day of mine and it was lovely. It's the second time I've visited, and Barney and Graham were as friendly and welcoming as ever. They were always on hand to help with kit and setups and made sure I was comfortable throughout. The studio has a variety of sets and props, and is surprisingly versatile especially since the refurb. Second time for me to shoot at Hangleton Lane Studio. Today I worked with Amelie Alden. Barney, the studio owner was incredibly helpful. He helped me set up the lights and the backgrounds. I actually made him work a lot, because there was always something that I wanted to move. He complied with a smile every time, also when he was busy doing his own things -- and he even found time to give me good advice about light measurement and meter reading. Free coffee and biscuit too! Thank you so much Barney!

I booked this shoot a few months ago from a casting call with Amelie Arden.

It was my 1st visit to the studio.

I found Barney to be very friendly & helpful, both in finding the studio & setting up sets. He is very helpful & gives good suggestions.

It's a well equipped, cozy little studio with plenty of free coffee & biscuits.

Would definitely recommend this studio & I will be back in December.

Yesterday was my first visit to Hangleton Lane Studios for a three hour shoot with Serenity on her studio day.

I received a warm welcome from Barney, the studio owner and immediately felt at ease being there. Barney was the perfect host-always happy to put the kettle on for a brew-and to assist with the lighting and furniture moving.

The studio is very well appointed and my first visit certainly won't be my last.

I had the first slot at a recent studio day last weekend. The lighting was all set up ready to go, all I had to do was dial in Barney's suggested settings and off I went.

The studio is an intimate space, which makes interaction with the model so easy, loads of props are available and the coffee is good.

Barney's an affable character, so as a novice, I could have asked no more.

I will be going back.

I had the amazing opportunity to shoot Elle Black at Barney's studio during a group shot. The organisation of the day was impeccable, so that everyone had more than enough time to work with Elle and get the shots that they wanted.

Barney -- a true professional and a gentleman -- showed us some of his photography, taught us some lighting tricks, and told us stories from a time when photographs were taken on film, which I always appreciate, since I'm not a fan of the digital medium.

The studio has just been refurbished. Ceilings are now higher, and the main area is large enough to offer opportunities for personalisation -- but there are also some sets, such a brand new shower area. The floor has been insulated, so that models can lie down without freezing - which I thought was a nice touch.

A vast array of lights, diffusers and filters are available, as well as a good stock of props. Barney was always there to advice, and encourage creativity. His friend Graham was also there, and he lent us all a very experienced helping hand.

We were even treated to coffee and biscuits, so there is not much more that one can ask. I have already booked myself some hours at Barney's studio and I am sure I will be back often. Thank you Barney!

I was totally honored to be the model at the recent re-opening studio day post refurbishment. Having worked in the studio many times before and felt it was just fine, the change was really interesting to see; Barney has put so much effort into it and it shows... certainly a great place to shoot with all you need. Barney is also just so absolutely lovely and a total pleasure to work with every single time... despite my mood swings! :-p

I've just had a fantastic opportunity to do a free shoot at Barney's studio with beautiful Elle Black. Barney is a great tutor and I learnt a lot throughout a shoot. Barney's studio just underwent a renovation and it has plenty of space around the main area, variety of lights, backdrops, props. There's also a shower area for the shower shots. Barney's hospitality was just fantastic and I felt very welcome. I strongly recommend Barney's studio and I hope to shoot again in his studio.

I had an interesting morning at the grand opening of Barney's refurbished studio on Saturday. This was the first time I have been the studio, and it is definitely well equipped with plenty of lights, and has a lot of space with some interesting shooting areas. Barney has worked really hard to make this a top studio on the south coast with very reasonable hire charges. There was a good friendly atmosphere amongst the group of photographers, and Barney worked hard to look after us all and to cater for everyone's needs. Elle Black was our model for the shoot, and she worked through some excellent ballet poses, and posed with a US flag for us. I look forward to visiting the studio again, next time working on one to one basis with a model. Thanks Barney and Elle for your hospitality.

Barney, his Glamorous Assistant, Gary and Elle made myself and a host of photographers very welcome on Saturday. Even though I threw a creative spanner in the works, they were very accommodating. Barney's hospitality, knowledge and experience runs deep, he knows his stuff and is more than willing to help in any way he can and he makes a crackin' cuppa!
