One of the best directors I know, with a dab hand at creating stunning scenes that looked like I'd just stepped out of an Arthurian legend - I love working with this amazing lady, she has such a beautiful way with the camera!

She’s so brilliant, full of ideas and full of props (in the car) I enjoy every second working with her, chatting, brainstorming and creating a beautiful pin up images. Last weeks shoot was just one of those days that truly makes me love my job! :D

The magnificent Helen was one of my awesome photographers for the day at my War and Peace Location!

Second model the beautiful Illy (Black Beauty), our star organiser Ian (Iwfoto), Kevin (Yorkphoto studio), and Richard (Richsimages), surprise model for the day Will (William Newton) and finally Ian had arranged an insane designer to custom make two costumes that fit wonderfully for our post apocalyptic shoot :)

Helen was the first to arrive, and quite obviously the most energetic person of the day as she was eager to run straight in to the forest and get shooting, you don't have to ask her twice! :P

I got to shoot with Helen Kevin in a team later on in the morning, and I really can't get over how well they work together it's like watching Fawlty Towers in all honesty with a bit of Carry On mixed in, as an example the morning feature us all speaking in Somerset accents, later we moved on to Birmingham :)

Tons of lights and reflectors between the two of them and ideas were flowing all over the place, always funny watching them run about the place shouting out shots and bouncing lighting ideas.

I think Helen was certainly in her element being on location and having so much to work with, we got some stunning implied nude, fallen goddess shots with a huge piece of material and smoke bombs, which Kevin ran around with out of shot!

Later on we got some duos with Illy, smoke bombs, and the helicopter which was ace, and then shot some pretty woodland distance shots.

We then finished the day off with my surprise guest, the lovely Will Newton popped over to get his kit off for some Conan the Barbarian and his fair maidens, after I had plastered him in paint and fake blood, and it was no surprise that we got some more excellent shots then as we've worked together in the past.

I think Helen and I always make a great team because she knows how to get in to face paints when I don't, and I can help her open magnet boxes :P

Helen is such a special person to me, let alone a special photographer, in every shot she takes you can see the thought that has gone in to it. I just can't wait to shoot her again, I love her company so much!

Hehe well I had a very fun day with this marvellously mad one last week. :)

Pre comms quick and precise, arrived bang on time and to say she came well prepared would be an understatement! Beauty dish, soft box, strip boxes, reflectors, beautiful hand picked flowers (thank you!), dresses, tops, fabrics, and lenses!

Helen has been very busy perfecting techniques and working on a set of images with a painted like effect, every shot was beautiful and even shot my puppy dog (one of my all time favourite shots!), we tried several different outfits and lighting changes, each one had a fantastic period look to them with a slight modern twist.

Such a fun day, always so much creative freedom with Helen and she knows how to get the very best from her models, and she has to be one of the most fascinating people I have come to meet not mention mental and amazing!

Can not wait for our next shoot which is luckily not too far away and our next catch up :D

Worked with Helen, Kevin (yorkstudio) and Dani (Dani Warren) for an SFX shoot, was a truly awesome day, had fun and may have to work with them all again in the future (wouldn't be a bad thing).

Great shoot last saturday with Helen, Lyndon and Kevin...loads of great ideas and lovely people together!! I love Helen images..I didn't know her before and I couldn't imagine I was working with a SO GOOD photographer! The portraits she tooked of me are unbelievable..great contrast between colours and dark background. I really hope I can meet her again soon and work together again. She is not only a very professional photographer but also a really friendly and laid back person.

Running out of things to say about Helen, you only have to meet her to see how amazing she is.

Last Thursday I shot with her and Kevin (Yorkphoto Studio), they're always an awesome team :) we were shooting at one of Jan Cottrell's unusual locations where we were shooting on some gorgeous aircrafts.

Helen picked me up and we caught up on our usual weird and wonderful gossip on our way to the location, we had a quick stop for coffees and a spot of lunch before moving on for some shooty fun.

As soon as we got to the location Helen was bouncing off the planes with fantastic ideas, straight away she was thinking about lighting and styling :) she also had a huge amount of knowledge of the aircrafts so I also got a history lesson haha :P

Already had some incredible images sent over which are so beautiful, Helens attention to details is out of this world, also it must be said that her editing speed is insane! Although the shoot was as always with Helen a major success, I have to agree with Helen that my favourite part of the day was the drive to and from the shoot conversing with this lady, I just love her company it's incredibly refreshing to talk to someone as down to earth and out going as she is.

Won't be long until we're shooting again, always shoots in the pipeline with this one! Talk to you soon :D

Such a mad woman, Helen had me as her stylist for a second time for her huge project for the year, she had sent materials over to me so I could have a play, she discussed at great length what she had envisioned making it so easy for me to get going on the projects.

Despite having to work to a schedule and everyone having to work hard and do their bit, we still had so much fun, Helen made sure there was food, snacks, and hot drinks to hand and made all her models feel at ease, she arranged a great make up artist. I always say how fun Helen is to work with, she plays hard but she's also one of the hardest working photographers I've ever met, she takes everything in her stride, she organises and arranges things to work for others, she looks after those she works with, and she spends hours making the shots extra perfect and special after everyone has gone home.

We've all seen how she works on set, and she looks effortless when she's quickly changes lights or showing poses, but no one sees her editing in the wee small hours turning a backdrop into a beautiful scenery with lovely delicate detailing!

The most dedicated person I know to making a model/person feel beautiful, not only is that hard to find, but it's priceless.

I can't wait to see the finale, when it's finished, and I'm excited to start thinking up crazy big events for us to unleash our own madness! Just love Helen!

This woman is an inspiration!

Helen was a part of an all day group shoot of sorts along with Kevin of YorkPhoto Studio, and Lyndon (Manchot), at Graham Marshall's studio in Darlington.

New studio, three shooters, so did we go for an easy shoot? Hell no we went for a milk shoot, I've been so excited for finally doing one of these!

Despite having cold milk thrown on me all day and sticking to static poses, Helen kept me giggling throughout the day, she is the most enthusiastic person I have ever met, incredible imagination and so artistic! Not even 24 hours later and she had a milk dress shot at the ready, and it's perfect!

You can not find a better person to collaborate with than this woman, she's fun, bouncy, full of ideas, I may be biased as she's a dear friend but I highly recommend her to everyone!

Thanks for an awesome day, looking forward to the next one!

Whoa what a woman! My first shoot as a stylist/designer and not a model, it was so weird but I bloody loved it!

I can't thank Helen enough for having the confidence in me to be able to make all theses dresses, headpieces and other bits, I couldn't have done it without her enthusiasm and madness!

Can't/won't give any details of the shoot, but wow I'm stunned by how Helen has gone up yet another notch!
