This fantastic lady picked me up promptly from the train station for a wedding workshop, with her husband Andrew. I've never modelled bridal before but Helen put me at ease. She was a great listener to all my ramblings and always made sure I was happy. Helen did an excellent job on my hair and makeup- the up do was relatively quick due to a mix up with timings, but you could never tell, it looked very intricate! I'm sure I was still picking Bobby pins out of my hair a few days later!! A very friendly and lovely lady and I hope I get the pleasure of working with her again! It's a definite recommendation from me!

Capture a Nomad

I had the lovely pleasure of working with this fantastic woman finally alongside the team of Apple Photo Training.

Working abroad together in Italy for over a week and be testing for some but I can honestly say, both her company, professionalism and skill sincerely, I had nothing to complain about.

Organised with wardrobe, I didn't stress what look was to be achieved for that day, fun when it came to makeup with a fabulous result.

Helen was always very helpful on set also, attentive to the detail in which both the model and the photographer might miss making our jobs a lot easier for us.

Hope I can only have another opportunity to work with her again soon as her cup of teas and entertainment is very much missed.

I’ve worked with Helen three or four times now - two of which were on road trips around Venice with Andrew Appleton photo-training.

The first thing I’d like to say is that Helen, her energy, her effort and her skills are astonishing. Both Helen and Andrew are absolutley fantastic and if you get the chance to shoot on one of their road trips - GO FOR IT! you will NOT regret it.

Helen’s ability to visualise the perfect wardrobe outfit in a specific location is on point every single time. She has a fantastic skill in colour matching with a serious attention to detail which means everything works, every time.

Helen had the most beautiful, extensive range of dresses and other garments with her on the trip - ‘just incase’ we needed them < this is exactly helen’s attitude with her work which I absolutley love, it shows how much she cares that the model looks fantastic and that the photographers get some really beautifully styled shots.

Both Helen and I are the awkward Gluten-free people which proves very difficult when in Italy especially but it meant she was always very understanding of my (slightly awkward) needs when it came to food - so a huge thank you for that.

There is not much more I can say without wanting to go off on a tangent about how wonderful she is as a person. The chats are endless, she’s so very young at heart and I feel we have a very good friendship. I’m going to stop there and hope that you have the pleasure to work with Helen one day!

What a true pleasure it was to shoot with this incredibly talented woman! I had a week long road trip of her styling on Andrew Appleton’s Destination: Venice photographic trip. :D

Pre comms were beautifully detailed so I knew exactly what I needed to pack, and she was standing by ready for any suggestions or ideas, her and Andrew picked me up on time and dropped me off at home.

We travelled through France, Switzerland, and Italy, whilst shooting along the way Helen did my make up and styled my hair to perfection as well as dressing me! Throughout the week she dolled me up as a burlesque performer, the lady in red, high end chic starlet, a mermaid in the Alps, 50’s/60’s in Padua, casual, and lady of the lake (which she very kindly let me wear one of her beautiful dresses for).

With make up she made sure I didn’t have any allergies and applied it all with great care, as well as whilst styling my hair. You really don’t have to worry about getting poked or prodded as you can with more heavy handed stylists.

Such a fabulously talented woman, but she is also the sweetest person I’ve ever worked with and such a cracking sense of humour, she kept me highly entertained throughout the trip with her dry wit and her vast array of accents :)

I really can’t recommend her highly enough, if you’re luckily enough to work with Helen just take the opportunity as you won’t be disappointed!
