When you need two images.

Like to thank the much missed April O for the image, I always wanted to do something special for my last shoot with her well over 2 years ago. At one time I did give up being an amateur tog. Its a hard subject to shoot after all, its not for everyone and I can appreciate that. Most who do shoot it is for websites or clips4sale , most of the work is done on video camera and has the man surprising the girl with rope or tape and giving her a hard time. I am not really big on violence to women and I know its all acting but to me, it never really showed how bondage can be a beautiful thing for both sides. Fantasy could come to life with costumes, spooky woods, castles etc. You could be the villain and the hero, to show it could be fun without feeling guilty. As a large percentage of models do not shoot bondage as its still regarded as porn rather than art and the ones that do want the website guys big bucks ( and do agree as it shot only for making cash ). So after a while I decided to give up, never wanted to be famous and I tried it as it was on my bucket list. I found out almost straight away that if not careful you could get eaten up in a dog eat dog world. So not finding any real direction photograph ( or life ) time to give up and be a nobody again. A few months later April rang me up and asked me why I was no longer on Port ( or anywhere ) and was I OK ?. Told her that things had not been to good and depression had set in. She told me to come over for a chat and told her that wanted to show more that what I knew. Being the person she is she told me to get shooting again and try harder with images. Not only was she a great model but never judged me for what I liked. I have never shot for a website only for myself. So after her pet talk I tried again. I have met some great people since and often wonder what I am still doing shooting, have now been diagnosed with manic depression so its not the happy ending you though you was going to get. Returning to were I started, the image may not be your thing but work has been put into it, to me it reminds me of how flexible April is, how she could pose without direction, how sexy she could look with her eyes. With photograph we often just go on about the image but for me its more about the people we meet. With out April's help none of my images would be here for you to see. With me there is always a story behind the image.
