It had been two or three years since I photographed Han and her sister surfing so was really looking forward to shooting her again, this time in Devon at Widemouth Bay.

We photographed a couple of sets I'd prepared indoors before we headed out to the beach to get the late afternoon sun and a fair bit of breeze. Thankfully I needed her in a fur coat and a windswept look.

May be presumptuous for me to leave a reference for Han, as I am an absolute beginner in shooting models and by contrast Han has an immense reservoir of experience.

However, fools rush in.... Han met me as arranged (gently overlooking that I had missed an email re times). It would be hard to take a bad picture of a lass as beautiful as Han, and I was really pleased with some of the pics. With her experience, knowledge of shooting locations and very pleasant personality the time flew by. HIGHLY recommended and I very much hope to shoot with Han again

This was my third shoot with Hannah. Pre-shoot Comms were good, and she arrived on time. Weather had been predicted to be awful (storm and heavy rain) and we had a last minute ‘Bad weather Plan B’ prepared but half an hour before the shoot, the sun was shining and the wind strength had reduced. :-)

When we met up we decided to explore a little bit of the Falmouth waterside and a couple of the narrow alleyways. She had a large bag of other outfits to use and changed a couple of times. We then went to the National Maritime Museum and explored there (both of us having an interest in sailing).

Overall, it was a real pleasure meeting up with Hannah again and as she is also a product photographer herself (as well as a model) so we discussed ideas for shots and improvements to them. She is a real pleasure to work with, very relaxed, intelligent, chatty and easy to get on with. She is fully recommended and I would love to work with her again.

1000% recommend Han

being a photographer and model Han has loads of ideas and points that she brings to the table as well as being friendly helpful and kind.

I haven't done many model based shoots I'm a sports photographer so more use to working with athletes, so not use to a huge range of directing and talking through a shoot han made it easy and fun as well as giving pointers and ideas.

Had my first shoot with Han this month, testing out some lighting setups in my kitchen.

Han was absolutely fantastic, professional, friendly and incredibly easy to work with, and and full of patience for me repeatedly changing the entire lighting setup and backgrounds several times.

I fully recommend working with her as she's a delight to shoot with and I'll definitely be booking a shoot with her again at some point.

Mind in the Shutter

I recently had my first shoot with Han; a half-day outdoor portrait/fashion shoot in and around Falmouth town.

Han is an amazing model. Pre-shoot comms were very efficient, she brought some great wardrobe options, and she was enthusiastic and professional throughout. I am very happy with the images we got from our shoot, and even managed to get some of them published.

I would not hesitate to recommend Han, and very much hope for an opportunity to work with her again in future!

Location shoot with Han. She suggested a rocky valley near the coast which turned out to be a great location, as long as you have an early start. Crowds were appearing as we wrapped.

Han brought a good selection of clothes, and we set to with some yoga shots perched on a rocky crag overlooking the sea.

We moved layer to a rocky stream in the woods for some backlit shot bu some rapids.

Han is the epitome of the fit outdoor girl, and a great choice for anything sporty or active.

Highly recommend, and fun to work with.

Skate / Surf shoot.

Although the weather was fine for a skate shoot, it also brought out the cars on what was supposed to be a quiet road, however we retreated to an industrial estate and opted for skate themed shots instead.

We then went for the surf shoot, however the wind was whipping in from the sea resulting in the waves breaking quite early, so we were unable to achieve our vision for this one.

As usual Han was quite helpful and knowledgeable about the conditions we were facing so were able to make the best of it. We'll come back to this one I'm sure.

Finally got some sunny weather for a beach shoot with Han. As ever, a pleasure to work with this model/photographer. We found a beach location that was relatively uncrowded for a bank holiday weekend, with a few quirky artefacts to add interest to the sand and dunes.

Han arrived with a good selection of outfits.

Her experience both sides of the camera shows, and she was very helpful in suggesting shots.

Highly recommended, especially if you're wanting lifestyle shots with a beach theme.

Had another great shoot with Han. We had 3 hr beach shoot watching advancing rain clouds. Being the epitome of the outdoor girl this didn’t phase Han. we got loads of good shots backed by menacing clouds. Han is full of ideas to enhance the shoot. All went to plan and I look forward to the next shoot. Highly recommended, especially if you want an all-weather girl!

Second shoot and we were back in the surf for the first part. Bit of a workout for me but Han makes it looks effortless, thankfully she also had her eye on our stuff we left on the beach before it sailed away!.

We then reconvened later in the day for some fashion where Han just proved to me how versatile she is at any idea you put to her, she also brings ideas with her.

The weather was unexpectedly kind to us which made the whole day a pleasure.

I really cannot rate Han highly enough, she’s a superb professional with a really good attitude to her work.

My second shoot with Hancharlotte - the last one in January 2020 was almost blowing a gale and spitting with rain - this time we had almost the exact opposite, nice gentle breeze and clear blue skies - a glorious day. Han came well prepared wth a variety of outfits that matched up with the shoot plan and was a REAL pleasure to work with. She knew the area well and had suggested where we shot as I had only been in Cornwall since the end of 2019. There was a wide variety of backgrounds within easy walking distance. Excellent. It was lovely to work together again as we bounced ideas off each other, some worked, some didn't (as always with life) but we ended up with a shedload of lovely pictures that I am slowly working my way through. She was brilliant as my model for the day and I hope I was as good as her photographer once she sees the photos.

I can recommend her 110%. Five stars ***** :-) Thanks Han!

Had a fun shoot with Han on a rocky beach. I've worked with Han before, and she put everything into the shoot. She arrived with a good selection of outfits for the beach, although the stiff easterly breeze rather constrained her outfits to something warm.

She is very helpful with posing, especially with the harsh light we had (it was just too windy for reflectors -- even clothing was blowing away).

We moved around locations as the flooding tide took over the beach, but I managed to get the shots I wanted before retreating to the clifftops.

Han is super easy to work with, and I would definitely like to have another shoot, probably once its warmed up a bit and these pesky easterlies swing round to the SW!

Highly recommended.

This was my third shoot with Hannah and I am already looking forward to working with her again. Hannah arrived in time and with a variety of outfits we had discussed be for the shoot, all perfect for the style I was looking for. We had great fun trying out different ideas and I was really happy with the results. I would recommend Hannah to any photographer.

Han made a two hour round trip to meet me in Cornwall for my first ever beach shoot. She arrived in plenty of time with her cool surfboard and a great selection of styles and beach outfits which were very fitting for the shoot and location.

We managed to grab some great shots in the dunes before Han got into the cold water waist high with her surfboard. Never once complaining, despite the rough sea.

Han has a great surfing girl look and worked her socks off on the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending her for your next shoot.

Had a fun shoot with Han, my first with this excellent model. Good pre-shoot Comms, and we started bang on time.

The location was an extensive area of sand dunes, Han arrived with a good selection of outfits to complement the location.

She is easy to work with, poses with ease, needing little direction.

It’s a welcome break for me to shoot a lifestyle model, with smiles and a natural expression.

I would highly recommend Han, and hope for another shoot in the future.

An excellent shoot with Hannah, after a long time not shooting at all. She found the location, ensured I had directions and turned up on time. Hannah is excellent to work with, relaxed between shots but entirely committed when the camera is upon her. She has great ideas for what to wear and around potential poses. Strongly recommend her

My first shoot with Hancharlotte and from my first enquiry her comms were always spot on, she arrived for the shoot on time and ready to go, and could pose as requested as well as making good suggestions herself. Just loved working with her and I suspect we will work together again in the future. Her number of PP references don't show the full story as she has far more experience than they suggest. Fully recommend her to any photographer.
