About Me

My name is Michael: a self-taught published photographer, specialising in portrait and fashion. I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot with some wonderful models, HMUAs and stylists, and I hope you like my portfolio.

I work full-time as a lawyer, and occasionally part-time as an actor and theatre director.

Based in Melbourne Australia until the end of September 2022. 

Photography

My interest in photography began in the studio, taking headshots of my friends. Despite my studio experience I have recently been venturing out of my comfort zone, trying to shoot outdoors and in locations where I have less control over light.

I really enjoy shooting editorials with a 'strong and simple' concept, as well as socialising/networking in group workshops. I love meeting and collaborating with creatives, and am always open to ideas – particularly if they’re challenging!
