Really enjoyed shooting with Gus today at Studio Hire Plymouth, not only is he a good photographer but he is also a pretty nifty stylist! He had ideas on a moodboard and outfits to create some funky fashion themed shots.

I was fed and watered and given adequate breaks.

Gus was great fun to be around and I hope to bump into him again soon!

I had such a lovely shoot with Gus! Really enjoyed it. It was a collaborative process that allowed all three of us (Gus, MUA and moi) to get creative and we achieved some amazing results that I cant wait to see!

YAY! I got to work with the lovely Gus again on my 17 day tour!

Gus booked the first two hours of my studio day at Studio Hire Plymouth and oh BOY were we on fire!!! I absolutely LOVE so so soooo many of the images we took. We nailed every set!

Very excited to see the images go up, Gus really did make me look fabulous.

I had a fantastic shoot with Gus when I was staying in Devon. He came up with a fantastic idea of doing a vintage style shoot at a steam railway. I absolutely love anything vintage so this was great and I was able to provide styling for it. A lovely easy person to work with. He picked me up for the shoot and dropped me back. I have also met him at meet ups as well since and he's a really easy person to get along with.

On my most recent tour of the South, Gus and I got the chance to work together for a second time at Studio Hire Plymouth... and we had the most wonderful session ever! It was nice being able to bounce ideas around - Gus has always proposed ingenious ideas and thought carefully about a vision he wants to create and for a model, this makes the creative flow more exciting because it gives you a foundation platform to work with and shape your poses around. It's incredibly productive working with Gus as well due to the fact that he appreciates a models repertoire/way of moving between poses and he will allow you to do your thing independently... but at the same time when he spots something stupendous from his side of the lens he will shout and give epic direction too. :) He's a truly gifted photographic eye and will put his hand to so many styles in terms of lighting a look effectively and getting jaw-dropping angles too. Photography involves so much quick-thinking when you take into account all the elements of adding wow-factor to an image... Gus has this off to a tee and I am very confident in that any shoot he does with any model that he will put his heart and soul into achieving the best he can. Thank you so much Gus, it was a blast once again and the images looked superb!

Of course the usual bounce, banter, laughs and rapport occurred from the very beginning. Gus is a sweetheart which makes working a more positive experience for a model; our primary job is to pose for a specific brief but if you get on well with who you're teaming up with and can have a bucket-load of giggles as you shoot then it makes huge amounts of difference in the relaxed atmosphere. Gus is uber respectful and always has been totally courteous to me and I would recommend him any time of the day. I always look forward to working together again this is one photographer that I can honestly say, is a joy to work with.

Had a brilliant shoot with Gus a short while ago he was professional welcoming and on time. Pre comms were brilliant and he was very well organized and knew what he wanted to achieve the images on the back of the camera were superb.

Its not been that long since i last worked with Gus however, our last shoot was a group shoot so when he booked me for a studio shoot this gave me the opportunity to get to know Gus and learn about his interests in photography. Without a doubt Gus is one of the lovliest most genuine people i have come across whilst modelling. Always professional and considerate towards the model. very down to earth and easy to get on with. He takes great pride in his photography and enjoys learning new skills and testing new ideas to get creative. He bought along several beautiful outfits to the shoot for me to model including a beautiful ball gown....getting into it wasnt the easiest task though hehe. We must have got through about 7 sets and outfit changes over the course of 2 hours!! :-) I am so pleased Gus booked a shoot with me. It went so quickly but it was a really lovely shoot and i would jump at the chance of working with him at any point in the future.

After a long time waiting yesterday i finally had the pleasure of working with the very lovely Gus. We had been in talks about it for a while and the opportunity arose and he is just a dream to model for. Such a genuine Guy with the right attitude towards photography and models. He was happy to let me pose away but also gave direction nicely too so great team work. Admittedly you dont get a great deal of time to shoot on a group shoot but it was long enough for me to be able to highly recommend this awesome photographer and i wouldnt hesitate to work with him again at any point ion the future.

Gus booked me for two hours at my recent studio day at Studio Hire Plymouth and I am glad he did! I was told I would be his "gels guinea pig" and I was over the moon to hear it! ;)

We got some amazing images in the short time we had and had good fun in the process too. Gus had prepared himself very well for the shoot and and I am very excited to see the results!

Gus is incredible, I worked with him at a Jake Hicks photography workshop at Amersham studios, even though he was on the workshop to learn new techniques he was super nice & great to model for

I felt at ease posing for him, and the shots he took are mind blowing

Was great to work alongside Gus yesterday - he arrived with his model and was very keen to get started so we worked on a couple of different lighting set-ups and I pretty much left Gus to it. He was very open to new ideas and techniques, and had a good rapport with his model. I would wholeheartedly welcome Gus back to Shutterworks again, great guy!

Despite being quite new to model photography, Gus was very at home in the studio and made me feel comfortable right away. We shot several beauty looks, with Gus allowing me to pose freely and chat between sets. The time was laid-back and friendly but I love the images we produced and look forward to seeing them edited. Worked with Gus again on my tour of the southwest and he bought along some awesome props we used.

The studio helped him get creative with his shot he was trying to create, using the bright walls of it to bring out funky and quirky vibes to the images.

I worked with Gus for the first time last week whilst holding a studio day in Bristol.

He turned up in plenty of time to scope the studio out and get everything set up and had a warm friendly and professional personally which made me feel at ease.

I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our shoot.

Just a few frames into our shoot Gus had taken some great head shots of and was not afraid to experiment with the lighting set up to get the shots just right.

He ensured I was warm enough and In between lighting change set ups ensured I had little breaks for a drink or to keep warm.

He takes his photography seriously and works hard to get the lighting and everything else spot on.

It was a very productive and enjoyable shoot with some stunning images created.

I would happily recommend Gus to other Models with no hesitation, and I look forward to working with him again sometime and seeing the final results .

Had a super shoot with Gus this morning!

He is such a lovely person to be around, making sure I was happy at all times and giving me plenty of breaks even though our shoot was only 2 hours. He also came with some really cool ideas and images for us to take as inspiration so I knew exactly what look we were going for. He is the only person this week to have shot me in the kitchen and from what I saw on the back of the camera his idea worked perfectly and looks really great :D

Can't wait to see some finished results and would more than happily work with him again!

Organised a shoot with Gus at Studio Hire in Plymouth, we maintained excellent comms throughout, and he was kind enough to pick me up from the station and drop me back off too!

The shoot itself was smooth and flowing, Gus knew what he wanted to achieve and brought the appropriate props as well as using some items that I brought too.

Gus is chatty, friendly and professional, would love to work with him again and I highly recommend him
