Schiphol Airport

A faithful recreation of Schiphol, the airport of Amsterdam as it was in the 1930s. Only this is part of an aviation museum at Lelystad in the Netherlands.
The trees behind the terminal building are the give-away: Schiphol of course did not have them, certainly not immediately behind the buildings.
The real airport was at the bottom of a former lake, 11 feet below sea level.
Lelystad is at the bottom of what once was the Zuiderzee.
