So I learnt how to convert colour to black and white using the television percentages on the colour sliders, and thought others might be interested.
These percentages were developed when colour T.V. was still needed to be seen via black and white receivers.
Note Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta, are equal to the sum of their component colours of light.
You can play around with the sliders to alter tones to your personal preferences, just like adjusting your old telly, but this is a good start point.
Red = 30%, Green = 59%, Blue = 11%, Yellow = 89%, Cyan = 70%, Magenta = 41%.
