GlossyPinkLipstick does it again!

I remember two years ago when I very first shot with Paul.. I was terrified.. I thought his work was outstanding and never in a million years thought he would want to shoot an "Ol' Bird" like me... now.. a few years on.. Paul and I are friends.. He text me last week and asked if I was free Sunday as he had a cancellation... uh hello... is grass green?

He gave me an idea of what he had in mind and after a cup of coffee.. we got going. I was rather impressed with some of the new techniques he is now using and am so looking forward to and excited to see the images because I know.. they will be as great as ever and definitely different to anything I have in my port.

Paul is tops.. I cant keep singing his praises because his head will get way to big. Paul knows what he wants in an image.. he is now great at posing a model, directing and even pretty good at demonstrating the poses himself.

He takes his coffee strong (very strong) .. with two sweeteners, and is partial to a biscuit or a bit of cake.

Whether you be shooting fashion, glamour, art nude.. it doesn't matter.. Paul always strives to get the best he can.. though he is never complacent and never "bigs himself up".

I'd like NOT to recommend Paul and I'd like any model he's got booked to cancel on him.. why.. because I might get some more phone calls asking if I'm free on a Sunday.. but that would be denying all you lovely ladies the opportunity to work with one of the best photographers I believe I have come across (please don't tell him I said that).

Thank you again Paul... I am already looking forward to next time.

Had the pleasure of working with Paul for the second time after a model had cancelled last minute and will say her loss my gain,as always I had a great fun shoot... Paul is always very professional and welcoming and is great with communication on and off set with a great eye to detail making instructions and poses easy and looking great to accomplish great images...Paul is always a pleasure to work with.

today has been absolutely wonderful I cannot recommend Paul enough for anyone just starting out to even the most experienced model.

we started nice and early and got to shooting straight away and the time flew by before I knew it and we had gone through all the set changes.

wonderful person, checks to see if you are ok and very easy to talk to and get along with.

can't wait to see the images! would definitely work with again!

I see Paul is now starting to offer studio days tuition so I thought it only fair to post here with my experiences with Paul as I have worked closely with him and I still see him every few weeks when he shoots from my studio, and why if you have the chance you should jump at the opportunity with working with Paul.

Shortly after I started photography at the start of 2014, I felt I could use a little experienced guidance. Not someone to do everything for me, but someone who, along with my own study and practice, could guide me along nicely, explain things that made much more sense in person than reading a manual or guide book and I decided to seek a mentor.

I looked at a few photographers ports who were close to me location wise but immediately Pauls stood out so I contacted him (he probably remembers my very long email to him and probably still has flashbacks to it) and he agreed to mentor me.

I think our 1st meeting, he explained Iso's, shutterspeed and aperture to me and in just 20 minutes, everything he told and showed me made much more sense than having read an entire manual on it.

Paul is easy to work with, has the patience of a Saint and is a great teacher. Over the 1st few months shooting with Paul my photography made huge leaps forward and although after about 6 months he let go of my hands (his own words, I did not need him anymore), and everything I had learnt with Paul gave me a great base to start putting my own ideas into my photography but even today you can still see Pauls influence in a lot of my photos.

I can put my hand on my heart and honestly say that I doubt I would be anywhere near the level I am today if it was not for Paul. He showed me the potential I could achieve and it gave me the desire to constantly improve myself, something I still have today.

If you look at my portfolio, that is with myself just 13 months into my photography and shows with the right attitude to learning and improving all the time what is possible and a tuition shoot day with Paul is the absolute perfect way to start.

Paul also excels at post production, if you have tuition with Paul its more than worth having some Photoshop technique lessons from him also to go alongside the photography.

I will finish up by saying although I feel I am at a decent level with my photography now (still lots to learn but that will come with experience), I still bend Pauls ear from time to time with asking for advice and when he does his own shoots at my studio, he knows to come early as I will be dragging him in front of my PC to show him my latest photos and he still offers valuable tips re crops and I hugely respect his opinion.

Had my first shoot with Paul today, amazingly good fun, Paul is a total gent and very easy to get along with, he is polite and enjoyable to work around,

Paul is exceptional at capturing an image, has a vision of how the image should be and is even better at capturing that image,

I think Paul is an outstanding photographer and if he wants to work with you then you really should,

Paul is also very aware of your comfort levels and at all times checks that your ok,

I am very pleased that i got to work with Paul as i has been following him for quite some time and i hope he wishes to work with me again,

I had the pleasure to work with Paul at his friend's studio in Herts. The studio is nicely settled and it was really a good experience working with someone as patient, laid-back and professional as Paul. Food, chocolate and drinks was there to help keep up the good mood. Lee wasn't far for assistance, always smiling and also very discreet. You don't notice he is here unless you ask for him.

I had an enjoyable shoot which I recommend to everyone.

Well.. once again, I shot with Paul last Saturday, and.. once again... what a great and successful day we had. My shoot had been cancelled so it was very last minute and we hadn't really discussed too much on what we wanted to do.. but as soon as we got our heads together.. the ideas started flowing. I love working with Paul because I always know that I will learn from working with him.. it doesn't matter how much experience anyone has.. there's always room for more.

I really do recommend any model to work with this very talented photographer.. I now class Paul as a friend and look forward to the next time we happen to decide to shoot again.. Thanks Paul

Had my first shoot with Paul today. He's really down to earth with a playful personality, which makes him great fun to work with. Paul found us a fab studio, where food and drink was offered as well as my own room to get changed in.

Paul was very relaxed and easy going. Gave me great feedback and encouraged me when I was giving him good poses to work with. Very vocal, which was great. I like to know where I stand. He also gave me plenty of opportunity to check out how our images were looking.

Cannot wait to shoot with Paul again in 2015. Was a complete pleasure! Thanks Paul :-)

I had a fantastic shoot with Paul yesterday at the studio in Cheshunt. I felt very welcome and comfortable as soon as I arrived. He was very professional and we got through lots of different sets and ideas. He was happy to listen to my ideas and allowed me to have plenty of input.

Paul's pre shoot comms were perfect, and his detailed shoot list is very helpful!

I would definitely recommend Paul to any model, can't wait to see the final images and shoot with him again next year :)

He had many creative ideas and helpful advice, while also giving me lots of freedom during the shoot, which taught me a lot about modelling! I've had the pleasure of working with Paul a number of times, in studio and at my home and has been great to work with every time! He is super professional and creates amazing images. Paul gives great direction and is keen to work with my ideas to get a great shot. Had a fantastic shoot with Paul. Pre-communications was excellent, extremely professional, friendly and a very nice person to be around. I had a shoot with Paul just over 2 and a half years later and it was great, it was very last mintute and so worth it. Still chatty and great at what he does and in fact even better, great with direction and happy to hear your ideas. I am so happy with the images I just can't wait to get them up, thanks Paul. I had a great shoot on location with Paul, he was friendly. polite, and professional. He gave good direction and has supplied me with some great new images for my portfolio. He even carried my heavy bags and paid for my parking. Paul is a great guy and a talented photographer. I recommend shooting with him if you have the chance.

Had a last minute shoot with Paul as we both had cancellations, Fate is awesome sometimes! Had such a great day shooting together, visited a secret location i know of and had a fab time dancing around naked in windows ;) Then back to mine via a meadow to mess about in my treehouse. Brilliant photographer and all round lovely chap. Just adore his images every time. A definite favourite of mine ;) x

Paul had a cancellation last Saturday and we decided to help each other out ... can Mr. GLOSSYPINKLIPSTICK get any better? I thought not... but he does!! I had the pleasure of working with Paul once more on Saturday, and this time we went out on Location. It was a very testing morning, due to wildlife photographers, muddy banks and slippery slopes, and of course a group of children on a nature walk.. but we had fun.. and whilst having funny we managed to bag some amazing images. After doing the location work, we decided to head back to the indoors where we continued to work wonders... I asked for something different.. and I think we achieved it!

I thoroughly enjoy working with Paul.. He has amazing vision and knows what he is looking for and NOT looking for in an image, he is great when giving direction, even been known to strike the odd pose himself just to get it across to you what exactly it is he is looking for.

Over a year since my first shoot with Paul, this is number 4, I still thoroughly recommend him. Paul is respectful of a models boundaries, is a gentleman through and through and has the vision and eye to create a wonderful set of images with his models.

Models, experienced or new, do yourself a favour if you can, work with this guy, don't cancel... I cant put over enough, just what amazing work you will get from a day in Paul's company :-)
