Hello everyone. I joined Purple Port about a week ago and this place is amazing!
Because I am transgendered, or as I like to say, bigendered or gender fluid, this is the first group I've joined beyond the default groups you have available when you sign up.
Because I appreciate the imagery found in the men's pulp magazines of the postwar era, I have been kicking around the idea of a print-on-demand/digital reboot of one of my favorites, Wink, but reimagined as a title featuring only crossdressers, gender-fluid, bi-gendered, transgendered, and transsexual models, and subjects. It would be more of a coffee table magazine as it would have to separate itself from all the web-only content available.
Each issue would feature tasteful pictorials of three or four gurls, spanning all ages. It would target the dominant men who seem to be attracted to us gurls and who enjoy seeing us fully feminized, as I like to say, stripped of any residual toxic masculinity. And I think it's essential, to put us in context, that there would be a small "before" picture as part of the multi-page spread so that these men can see how far we've come in our goals to be more feminine than our cis counterparts. I've always said that these men seem to be attracted to the efforts we put forth to be as feminine and submissive as possible, like women were in the 1940s and 1950s, when these kind of magazines were at the zenith of popularity.
So please leave suggestions and comments below. If you would like to be one of the subjects in a possible test issue, let me know. i am working on a Q&A form an in the weeks to come, after I find a photographer, I plan to do the first layout to see if I can push this forward to the next step, a high-quality test test issue that can be offered print-on-demand as well as a Kindle edition.
