The Creative Eye Photographers

Gemma was drafted into our studio shoot this afternoon and she did not disappoint. She is a very professional makeup artist, arrived on time and got on right away seamlessly with Olivia our model for the studio shoot. She came prepared and after a brief discussion about ideas, she got on with the job at hand. She created a couple of beautiful looks on Olivia which allowed each photographer to capture some unique images. In between makeup and shooting she talked with each photographer and really felt part of a fun and friendly group vibe. Thank you, Gemma! Look forward to working with you again soon!

Gemma was the make-up artist for Rachelle's Stepford Wives event.

The work put in, delivering perfect themed looks for each of the three models was fantastic. Remaining on hand throughout the day, keeping an attentive eye on the make-up ensuring that the quality was maintained throughout the day. Fast and efficient when applying updates to keep the models looking their best.

Highly recommended, Gemma shall certainly be considered when I next need an MUA

Got to work with Gemma twice during Sinopa's recent Hacienda event. Once she was doing the makeup for the model's while I was there shooting BTS one of the days and the other on the final day of the event again doing the model's makeup. Gemma's work as an MUA is of a very high standard, can do a model's makeup quickly, but not let her high standards drop. All the model's always looked at their best due in a large part to Gemma's makeup. Once again, a high recommendation from me if you need an MUA.

I've shot Gem in her guise as a model, but this time she was make-up artist on Sinopa Rin's Ballgowns & Burlesque shoot at the Hacienda.

Now I'm far from an expert, but she did a really great job to my eye. Not literally, I mean she didn't make MY eye up, but the models both looked great. Gem was on hand to do "touch ups" & changes of look, & was friendly & professional all the while.

I'm happy to recommend her most highly.

When organising my Ballgowns and Burlesque event at the Hacienda, I wanted the best creatives available to help achieve amazing images for the photographers - Gem's name sprung to mind straight away! Her pre-comms were excellent and she even offered to bring some items from her own wardrobe for us to model in; a really thoughtful and generous lady. Her make-up application is gentle, quick and utterly beautiful - she is also a total skincare geek which shows in her own flawless complexion, so I knew I was in safe hands. Gem took on my suggestions and even let me do tiny details myself because I like it done a certain way; she made sure that I was comfortable with the looks throughout. The photographers commented on how good the make-up looked and it lasted really well all day. It was a pleasure having Gem on set and I absolutely can't recommend her enough. Thank you!

I was a photographer attending the Ballgowns and Burlesque event organised by Sinopa Rin at the Hacienda. I can most definitely say that the makeup was amazing. I shot in BnW with an emphasis on faces, and the makeup added such lovely tones and contrast - it also looks fantastic in the colour images published by the other photographers on the shoot. Gemma is a very talented makeup artist!

Another studio shoot with Gemma as MUA. As previously, pre-shoot communication on this short-notice booking was excellent, as were the results. Gemma works quickly but effectively, understanding as she does the industry from multiple standpoints.

All of my previous comments hold, with added experience. Gemma is totally professional and a great pleasure to work with.

What can I say about this amazing lady!!

Gemma did my make up for both simple beauty and also creative glitter shoot with Ilus Photography. Both looks were created to perfection, and Gemma knew exactly what shades would work with my skin tone. Gemma showed off her amazing skills for both natural make up and something with a little more sparkle!

The looks that were created were beautiful, and worked well for the vision we had imagined for the shoot. Gemma was gentle when applying the make up and is really easy to talk to!

I loved the end results of both looks, and I would love to work with Gemma again! 100% recommended!!

I had an amazing shoot with Gemma and Martin Higgs last week in London. We started off with a very minimal make-up look (that was a bit out of my comfort zone!) but Gemma made me feel confident that we could make it work - and we did! After that came all sorts of madness; sunglasses, sticky red lips, cellophane, glitter, gold... so much fun! I would highly recommend Gemma to any photographer looking for a fast and talented MUA who is pretty great a hair too. I hope to work with Gemma again in future.

Gemma did my make- up yesterday for a shoot with L.R.M photography ! It was such a stunning look! I have worked with Gem loads and this look was probably one of my favourites she has ever created on me!

I was then lucky enough to photograph Gem and she created some wonderful creative looks on herself which just looked fabulous!! They were right up my street and really captured what I wanted (even though I really poorly described it to Gem!)

She is really gentle when she puts make-up on and she really takes the models preferences into consideration! Not to mention she's great company so being made up by her is just great! I really enjoyed working with her once again!

Although at short notice, Gem arrive well-prepared and immediately struck up an excellent rapport with our model.

The Best make up artist your going to ever book! Ive had lots of make up artists work on my face through out the years and Gemma is by far one of the best She has a natural talent that extends way beyond her years. She knows the science among skin care and make up and uses the best products to prep the skin to keep it perfect through the shoot.

Gemma knows and understands faces very well, she's doesn't just put a make up look on to a models face but uses it to sculpt and work with the face to create beauty. She is also incredibly quick, polite, professional and is a dream to have on board any creative team.

Not only is Gemma an incredibly talented model, she is also a ridiculously good MUA!

I had a shoot with her an Trebor Images (Bob) today and it was terrific!

Gemma was amazing with coming up with the right look for each style and nailed it perfectly. She had great attention to detail and made sure everything was done to perfection. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her! Gemma also helped out with my hair and curled it for me, and did the hair styling brilliantly. She can create any look from flawless natural makeup to bold signature looks. She was always ready to help when needed and touch -up make-up and fix hair which was extremely helpful!

I would definitely recommended her if you have not worked with her already!
