I don’t know if this image will remain, I need to discuss it with my wife’s family, but for now I needed to do something just to feel a little less helpless than I do right now!

This last week has been the most shocking, the most gut wrenching… the hardest week of my life. The only person that could get me through something as soul destroying as this last week is the one person who isn’t here with me!

We were making plans for the future. For your continued success within the fiction reviewing world. You were over the moon, and I was so proud of you when Harper Collins noticed you. We had plans for you to go to Blackpool to finally meet your friends and colleagues. You had plans for me to, in your words, finally pull my finger out of my backside (you didn’t say backside!) and try make a proper go of my photography.

We had plans! But more importantly, we were supposed to have so many more years together!
