I met Gary on a shoot alongside another photographer at the Fresh Academy in Watford.

Gary was a pleasure to work with, very kind, patient, gave great direction when he felt it was needed and yet allowed me flexibility to move how I pleased. We managed to get through numerous sets in just 2 hours and the vibe amongst the two photographers and other colleagues was amazingly relaxed, and I felt very at ease!

Gary took some awesome photos and sent forward the edits just 1 day later.

I would absolutely recommend Gary for a chilled yet professional and very efficient shoot!

So yesterday was the first time I did a studio shoot with students doing a light course with Gary. I really loved every minute of it as the model I learnt a few things myself during it too. Gary was great with his precomms told me what to bring and where to go. The fresh academy studio was spacious lots of wardrobe to choose from. Gary has a lot of lighting knowledge and the way he teaches his students is very charismatic. I got to see some of the images from some of the students cameras and they were very cool especially the gel shots we got on our last set. Thank you for choosing me as the model was a lot of fun and I'd love to shoot with Gary again 😊 100% recommended.

I had the most fantastic shoot with Gary today.

Pre comms were great and his studio is lovely, large spacious and warm with refreshments and snacks :)

We ran through about 10 sets, Gary is very laid back and chilled and the shoot was relaxing fun and produced wonderful images.

I can't wait to see them and hope Gary books me again before I retire, Thanks Gary :)

Would I recommend? ... maybe... Yes, I would super recommend Gary to anyone!

His studio space is great and he keeps it warm ( knows how to treat his models). I was in constant supply of snacks, and we had a great laugh whilst we shot.

I feel like we really clicked and we created some amazing shots. He’s professional but also very friendly and able to make for a relaxed shoot. We flew through loads of sets and Gary’s skill behind a camera is insane! Super talented and wow, he knows his lighting!

Hope to shoot again sometime, thanks Gary!

I applied to Garry's casting an oh my word I'm glad I did I was modeling for a lighting lesson and it was amazing made me feel really comfortable even supplied dinner 😋 thankyou and I learned lodes not only about modeling but about lighting and photography in general absolutely fantastic shoot!! Oh my goodness what can i say .... ive wanted to work with this cheeky chappy for a long time and finally got to his studio! Originally boooked as a headhsot model for one of his training sessions... turned into a modelling shoot too. Both him and Steve were an absolute pleasure to work, at ease as soon as you walk in, friendly. Also open to suggestions on shoot, and vice versa. Spent a full day there and didnt want to leave !

So relaxed, really chilled but professional shoot. 100% knows his craft and communicates flawlessly to get the best shot, and the studio itself is one of the best I’ve been to - clean and organised which is wonderful!!

This is the second time Gary’s photographed my designs with Simone Stocks modelling and I would thoroughly recommend him. Great communication, he works quickly and produces beautifully composed fashion images with a flawless finish. Will definitely work with him again.

It was an absolutely dream to work with Gary! An absolutely lovely and genuine guy and an amazingly talented photographer! He had a work experience girl, Millie in the studio and was a fabulous teacher and great at directing. He made it a great experience for both of us. The studio was lovely and warm and I even had a brew and biscuits. What can I say!! I could have stayed there all day.
