Inspired by Edward Burne-Jones' stained glass PreRaphaelite angels and 1970's glam rock, Adélaide is transformed into the Angel of Death in my mirrorball skullcap, with overlayed images of flowers and the bronzed face of an antique fairground fortune teller machine with illuminated eyes.
I imagined an angel manifesting at death as with the dazzling light of stained glass, a psychedelic courier of souls to the next world.
