References for Fotostrobe

I worked with Fotostrobe on my Scotland tour last month- we had three hours in the RPS studio in Edinburgh.

On my arrival I was instantly talked through what the plan was going to be for the three hours and we spent the time working through the ideas list, ticking off each idea as we went.

There was a lot of focus on a dance theme (I did mention to FS I wasn't a dancer during the shoot) but we worked our way around it, trying my best and I was very pleased with the images we created!

I hope FS has success in the competitions/ salons he enters our images into and I look forward to hopefully seeing more of the results one day. Thank you and hope to work with you again next time I am up in Scotland.

Our third shoot and it was just as successful as the previous two. As always Fotostrobe worked hard, having prepared and put in a lot of thought into the images before the shoot. I am looking forward to seeing the results, and having something very different to add to my portfolio. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fotostrobe, and I would hope to work with him again at some point.

Had a great first shoot with Fotostrobe and would absolutely recommend him as a photographer.

Directed the shoot clearly and with patience and very professionally, making sure I was happy at all stages. Got the shots he was after but was also making sure we captured anything I was after in particular too.

Great communication before and after the shoot, was very flexible and open to discussing ideas.

Just done a shoot with Fotostrobe. Went really well FS has clear direction on shoot and kept the energy/ideas flowing. As I am new to it and portfolio building I let them take the lead and was impressed by what we were getting!

Great comms before and on shoot, great ideas and would definitely work with them again but also highly recommend to others.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with fotostrobe... we booked in advance our shoot for the 23rd of September and after that straight away we booked a second day on the 25th of September, which means after a day!

He was really professional and I had a lot of fun... i enjoyed a lot these two days of shooting with him!

Today, I had my second shoot with Fotostrobe, and it was just as good, and productive as the first. We worked on ideas about concealment, and with mirrors to create new ways of doing things, as well as ideas for composite images etc. I saw some of the images in the back of the camera, and I am looking forward to seeing the finished photographs. Fotostrobe is an interesting man to talk to, and a very good photographer, and if you ever have the chance to work with him, please take it.

The best part of working with someone new, is doing something different. The worst part is that awkwardness of not knowing what is expected. Working with Fotostrobe was not awkward at all and I thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon's shoot which reminded me why I love this artform so much!!!

Fotostrobe was a gentleman and a professional. He respected what I did but gently pushed me into something new. Throughout he explained what he was looking for, and showed on the back of his camera what we were achieving, while allowing me to find my own posing in a workflow that felt very natural and organic. I do hope I get a chance to work with Fotostrobe again!

This was my second shoot with Fotostrobe and what can I say? He's always full of creative ideas, which involved various different lighting set ups.

Fotostrobe was very well mannered, had good communication and great at directing . Fotostrobe was great at communicating and had a certain idea on what he wanted to achieve. i received some beautiful images and really impressed and happy with the style and images i received.

I worked with fotostrobe at Rogue Scotlands studio day, even though it was only a 20 minute time slot we got some good shots, he is very easy to work with and knows what poses he requires from you which made my job easier knowing exactly what he was looking for :)

I highly recommend to all models and look forward to hopefully with with him again :)
