Had a really good 3hr shoot yesterday at Retro Studio. Steve is very presentable and hospitable who strives to make the shoot as enjoyable and comfortable as possible and the time just literally flew by.

Had an amazing pinup shoot with Steve yesterday, one of my most enjoyable shoots of all time, and one of the nicest (if not, THE nicest) studios I have ever used.

Steve kindly drove me to and from the station, kept me going with coffee and made sure I was warm enough! He knew what he was doing and was clear when shooting, especially useful because of our limited time, and also had good ideas and suggestions for the different sets.

I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot and really hope to shoot again soon, would 100% recommend Steve and Foto-Smith studio!

I spent my time upstairs with the four different sets and got some great shots of Savra. A very clean and tidy studio with lots of help if needed from Steve. Highly recommended !!

I had a great time shooting with steve today. He was extremely professional and very friendly. Made me feel very welcome and relaxed as soon as I got there, Offering drinks throughout and making sure me and my friend where ok. He got me doing different poses and shot from different angles. He told me where to look and what to do with my body to get the best possible shoots. His studio and especially boudoir room was absolutely gorgeous. I loved having my photos taken in there. it had a lovely little dressing room so you could go somewhere private to get ready and get changed into the different outfits that you have chosen to shoot in. I definitely hope to go there again :)

After 20 years out of the modelling game, I didn't think I would be able to do it again and thought I was probably too old! My first shoot was with Steve and thankfully, he has made me want to carry on and go for it and reassured me that I was not only capable of modelling now but I'm certainly good for another few years yet!!

I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed and within the first five minutes of shooting, we were well on a roll!

Steve is an enthusiastic, friendly and extremely professional photographer and I would recommend him to anyone who wants some amazing pics!

Second studio day at this fantastic studio. I just love working here, it's so clean and tidy, it has some of the most stunning sets I've seen in the time I've been modelling. Steve is always happy to let me tip the studio upside down to create new images. I mean the studio is just perfect and to top it off its even better when you've got an amazing owner running the place. Steve is always happy, nothing is too much trouble and he's a true gentleman.

Would highly recommend the studio and steve to anyone

Had my second shoot at Steve's studio today. Great place, loads of props and you could not ask for a more helpful person, on hand whenever needed.

I will defiantly be using Steve's studio again.

Had first shoot with Steve last week oh my what a fab shoot if we had to rate the studio defernaly 10 stars felt really relaxed and enjoyed every Moment

Steve was so welcoming helped me in with me cases and bags Made us coffe as soon as we got there if you get a chance to work with snatch it with both hands I sure will if he asked

Well where do I start, had an amazing shoot today. Really loved it and i can't wait to see some of the shots. Steve was really welcoming when I got there, he made me feel really relaxed. Such a fun guy to work with. I would highly recommend him for shoots and also the studio is perfect.

I will definitely be working with Steve again soon.

Had a great shoot today with Joely at the studio. It's a great place with two studios, one set out in a boudoir style with great natural light. The other is a white background studio.

Steve was a great help, setting up the lights and helping me move around the studio.

Great place to shoot. Highly recommended.

I held my first studio day at Foto-Retro Studios last week and WOW what an amazing place!! From a models perspective the studio is perfection - immaculate, an amazing changing area where literally everything has been thought of, so many set options and most importantly - well heated!!! Steve is a fantastic guy, pre comms were spot on and he was there to greet me when I arrived with a warm smile and the kettle on!! He is very welcoming, incredibly personable, good fun and knows how to run a studio. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I'd love to go back and work there and fingers crossed I get the chance to work with Steve too!! Thank you so much :)

Had my first shoot with Theresa Louise at the studio this evening. I was very impressed with Steve's helpfulness and the studio layout. Each of the sets was well equipped and very well laid out. Nothing was too much trouble for Steve, especially shifting lights around ! I would highly recommend you try this one out.

Had my first model day at steves studio on Sunday. Complete sell out and I enjoyed every second. Steve is an amazing host, always made sure all was ok. Was there if anything was needed. Coffee was flowing nicely too :)

This studio is one of the cleanest I've ever worked in and has truely amazing sets.

I'm sure this studio doesn't get enough credit...just outstanding

Had my shoot with Steve today and it was amazing! It was so much fun! He made me feel very welcome and very comfortable. The studio itself was lovely and very professional. I can't wait to see the final photos! I've had a lovely afternoon shooting with Steve and would highly recommend him :)

Steve is an absolute diamond!! Lucky me who got to shoot with him and any model that gets such an opportunity should grab it with both hands. A wonderful experience and the images i know are to. Fantastic sudio to work in and i wanted to stay much longer but im definately on my way back for more very soon. Steve...Thank You. I cannot recommend this studio and photographer highly enough.

Steve was brilliant throughout pre coms and the shoot. I arrived at the station he picked me up amd bless him carried my bags like a true gentleman! When we got to his amazing studio He couldn't do enough making me tea and everything! The shoot was great fun and made all my pin up dreams come true! There were Marilyn Monroe moments with wind and lots and lots of classic pouts and spenders. He gave great direction and made sure we got the best shots. I would recommend him to any model. Steve was fun, friendly anf professional. I got some images back already (the night of the shoot) and I love them.

Shoot with steve whilst you can ladies! Fully recommend and who shoot with him again in a heart beat :)

I had an amazing shoot with Steve, he is so professional and a real gentleman, but also kind and puts you at ease. He is a very talented photographer and a pleasure to work with in a comfortable atmoshpere.

The studio is absolute perfection and simply stunning set up!, i enjoyed the shoot so much and steve gave great tips and advice aswell as compliments and has great knowledge to get that perfect shot. I have had a sneak peek at some of the images and they are simply breath taking and beautiful. We are already in talks of working together again in the very near future. I would recommend Steve to any and all models, his work is a definate for your portfolios! xx

So, on my way to the studio, I managed to get caught at every red light, get stuck in traffic, and end up arriving half an hour late- I was still welcomed with a hug and a cuppa tea! Steve was extremely friendly, easy going, and overall, lovely company to have! The studio itself is clean, warm, and a comfortable environment to be in. The boudoir setting is breathtaking. The furniture, colour schemes, props, clothing- everything is amazing! Picture your ideal boudoir set... that is it.

We sat and discussed potential ideas and props, and then put it all into action with a playlist of 80's hits as our soundtrack (what more could you ask for?!) The time completely flew by. A few outfit changes later and it was already the end of our time slot... except we continued working! We tried out more boudoir shots, fit in another cup of tea and had a general chit-chat before I finally got on my way.

By the time I was home Steve had sent me a few images to show how great the shoot had gone!

I can't fault the shoot at all. Steve was fun, professional and worked with me to produce fantastic images. I can't wait to see the rest!

Of course I would recommend him. Great professional photographer. My second time shooting with Steve, was great again. He gives direction very well, I feel comfortable and relaxed in his shoots. He has patience as I take so long to get hair and make-up and outfits done. He's friendly, gives me drinks and my own space to get changed. The studio of course is absolutely amazing and improves more each time. Spectaculous, so, so creative!!! It's wonderful, he is full of props and costumes/outfits and it's just spot on. Let's you listen to you're own music and puts up with it, even if it's crap haha! I always go in with a positive attitude and come out with a positive attitude. I am very happy that I've shot with him again, any models who haven't work with him before; It's a must must! Amazing guy, proper gentleman, I can't wait to work with him again.

Had a fabulous shoot with Steve at his studio! I was working with a lingerie company and hadn't specifically arranged the shoot with him, but he got in contact anyway so we knew who was who! He was so welcoming and friendly when I arrived, nothing was too much trouble! We had a chat and a giggle! Steve has got a beautiful studio! Lovely sets that were perfect for what we wanted! Oh and did I mention he is an awesome photographer!! Great lighting, composition, knew what he needed and gave that extra bit of little direction and tweaks to produce perfect commercial images! He was so great to work with loads of giggles, images and energy! I would without a doubt recommend Steve to experienced and new models! He would be fantastic to work with if you are new to modelling!
