Attended an hour slot with Savra hosted at the studio. Steve was a great host, welcoming and chatty, helping me get comfortable in the studio and on hand to help move things around and offer assistance.. The studio is beautifully appointed and maintained with all the lighting and equipment you need to get creative. Definitely will be back.

Steve very kindly gave me the opportunity to come work with him at the gorgeous Pipewell Hall last weekend, where we shot all day (alternating with another model). As with my first shoot with him, he was polite and very professional and great fun to work with. It was a brilliant location too, and we shot evening gowns, gothic, lingerie and even in the large lake in the garden! I am very much looking forward to seeing the images. I recommend working with Steve (either at his studio, which is lovely, or on location) to other models :)

I arrived at the studio to be met and helped in with my bags by Steve.

My first impressions of the studio were very pleasing indeed. A well decorated, clean and airy reception area - beautifully furnished and very comfortable.

The upstairs studio was also superb! Even more beautiful than the ground floor.

Steve and I went through the outfits I had brought and made choices over a nice cup of tea.

I was made to feel at ease at all times . Steve remained professional throughout the shoot, and before I knew it the time had slipped away all too quickly.

The finished pictures are stunning, sexy simply amazing! Steve really is a very, very talented photographer. I would certainly recommend Steve /Foto retro to any model or photographer . If you are lucky enough to work with Steve I am sure you will be as happy and amazed with your results as I am with mine.

Truly I can't wait for our next shoot.

Worked at Foto-Retro for the second time today and even more pleased than the first time. The upper studio has been reorganised making shooting that much easier with better angles. First class help provided when needed and great tea. Recommend this studio highly. :)

I've known Steve for almost three years now and the continuing support and encouragement I receive from him is second to none. He is genuinely one of the most laid back photographers I've had the pleasure to work with. From giving perfect direction throughout every shoot to making the perfect cuppa, every visit to his beautifully furnished studio is a real pleasure and first class results are guaranteed time and time again. After a rather impromptu shoot at Steves' studio I have nothing but praise for him. Myself and another photographer turned up quite out of the blue whilst doing a recci of the area for places to shoot. Steve made us extremely welcome and gave us a tour of the studio then offered us time to shoot there.

We used the boudoir area and attained some excellent images. Steve offered us tea and coffee throughout the time we were there (always a welcome plus). A most excellent host :-)

A well equipped studio, clean, with changing room for models. I recommend Steve to both models and photographers alike and I hope to shoot there in the future.

Whilst driving through Stanwick with model Ladyartist we decided to call at Foto-Retro Studio and if convenient, have a look round for a possible future shoot. Although unannounced, Steve made us most welcome,offering us a tour of his well equipped and beautifully furnished studio. Tea and coffee was offered throughout our visit, which inevitably developed into an impromptu and memorable shoot.. Steve is a friendly and accommodating host, and nothing was too much trouble in arranging the Bowen's Pro lighting to our requirements.The upstairs Boudoir studio is stunningly and tastefully furnished with a wide range of quality, period furniture,mirrors and curtaining. A full length window - not overlooked - allows the natural light to stream into the room and was ideal for the lovely art nude images we obtained. Downstairs is a reception area,model's changing room and another studio with a variety of backdrops,infinity curve and lighting.

Many thanks Steve for an outstanding shoot, You have a great studio and we will be back again very soon.

Today was my first shoot with Steve and he was wonderful to work with. Very professional and friendly approach. The shoot was very well organised, we had a mood board of images so I knew everything that was going to happen and my levels were understood and respected. I was picked up and dropped off at the train station which is always appreciated. It was also my first implied nude shoot and Steve was great at making me feel comfortable and relaxed. Loved doing the pin up modelling, a very fun shoot :) I can't wait to see the images and would love to work with Steve again. A true gentleman and I recommend to any model.

Oh yes...of course it's another glowing reference for Steve, I cannot recommend him enough! I attended another group shoot organised by Steve and he done a fantastic job. Everything just works out so well, it was so organised but relaxed too. I know I am not the only one that had a great day, everyone did and it's all thanks to Steve. I had my first shoot with Steve yesterday. We did pin-up (my first ever pin-up style shoot!) and a little bit of boudoir/topless too. The studio is lovely and well-appointed, really nice place to work. Steve was very welcoming and fun to work with. We had good pre-shoot comms so I knew what to expect and what to bring and everything went very smoothly. He was very helpful in directing me, as the pin-up style posing was new territory for me (and great fun it turns out!), and I really enjoyed the whole shoot. Looking forward to seeing the images, fingers crossed for getting some of them published :) I fully recommend working with Steve to other models!

I had my first shoot with Steve on Wednesday, absolutely stunning studio and changing room, really friendly and down to earth and I really enjoyed myself! I love the pictures we produced and an amazing photographer to work with!

I had my second shoot with Steve on Friday. I really felt comfortable, he was a nice easy going guy who knows what he is doing. His studio is amazing and I really enjoyed Shooting somewhere different. I would definitely recommend shooting with him. I have seen some edited images which are fantastic and I can't wait to see the rest :-)

Another shoot with Steve but first time at his studio and I must say wow what a great studio! Literally everything you need he has, great dressing room for the models, the studio upstairs is amazing and has been decorated and furnished so well. He was very accomadating and of course with me and Steve there was plenty of banter and giggles flowing...he even let me play with teddy in my shoot. Oh...and yes the images are amazing! 11 out of 10...definitely recommend! :) X

I actually had my first studio shoot with steve at the very start of my modeling, and I am so happy I had the chance to meet such a lovely, funny man, not only is he an awesome Pinup photographer he is also a true gent and I highly recommend working with him, I hope to work together again soon x

Although I've only just joined PP I've known Steve for over two years now and worked with him on several occasions. He's been nothing short of encouraging and is totally down to earth, relaxed and very professional.
