My first Meet.

My first meet covering motorsport at Thruxton.

I was giving the gig as the main photographer hated motorbikes, and it was a bank holiday and he'd booked time off.

So off I set with my trusty Canon A1 and Canon FD 400mm f/4.5, which I just got and othe rlenses for pit lane shots.

And I rolled off a dozen rolls of film, which I had to go and develop and go to the editor and see what they wanted.

So full circle, what better place to sign off.

It is time to finish and so with the BSB visit Aug 9-11th, will be my last weekend of tramping pits and circuit.

And I will be taking my A1 which I still have and a few lenses, I dont have the 400 no more,

and having a blast and last hurrah with some of the riders and mechanics.
