Brighton Pride Kaleidoscope

After a gap of several years, I went down to Brighton in early August, for the annual Pride Parade.

Determined to do something different, I used a Lomography Sprocket Rocket 35mm film camera, loaded with Fuji Superia 400 film. This takes panoramic pictures and I went for double and triple-exposures in-camera, adjusting the individual exposure times so that the overall exposure was roughly correct.

As you would expect the end-result was hit-and-miss, but interesting. Many images captured something of the flamboyant nature of the event – and I achieved the aim of getting an almost photographically impressionistic result.
