I did a shoot with Florence recently, where we picked a local town and found some cool lights and reflections to experiment with. Florence is really easy to work with, takes direction well and is friendly and approachable. I’d happily recommend working with her and I’m sure we’ll shoot together again at some point in the future.

I got in contact with Florence via instagram where we planned our shoot together. She is a very skilled model and knows how to create striking poses and portray emotions. We did a fine art shoot together and Florence posed very elegant and was a perfect fit for that style.

When Florence arrived she was ready to shoot and had already done a very nice make-up and hair style. She contributed two stunning dresses. I can wholeheartedly recommend Florence as a model and I hope that we will shoot again in the future. :)

I just had a shoot with Florence which is the third one now. I was trying out some flash lighting. Florence makes excellent portraits, she is a very nice model with a charming personality. we got some nice ones down by the river which look great and im looking forward to posting them up. I had to mess about with the camera and flash set up a few times and Florence is very patient no trouble at all, switching up poses and looks when I was ready. the shoot was extremely easy to arrange and Florence turned up perfectly on time and looking 100% amazing which obviously is important for good pictures. the pictures look lovely and im really pleased. looking forward to another shoot again sometime, we were lucky with the sunshine today!

Had my first shoot with Florence yesterday at the Fareham Studio. I met with Florence on time at the station, Florence arrived with a case full of outfits that I had previously chosen from multiple images of her vast selection of beautiful dresses and cosets.

Florence was ready to shoot with hair style and make-up already done, the three hours flew past although suspected problems with spot focusing of my ageing camera got in the way for the first part of the shoot. Thankfully this did not phase Florence who moved from pose to pose with no effort at all including at least four changes of outfits.

Florence is a lovely person to work with and puts in a hundred percent to the shoot, I can absolutely recommend Florence to any photographer and hope to do a further shoot in the near future

My second shoot with Florence, this time on a distinctly different theme to our last one. As before, she was a joy to work with; she has bags of enthusiasm and puts everything into the shoot. Her acting background again shows through in the way she adapts her poses to the individual outfits and settings.

Absolutely recommended and we'll definitely be shooting again!

I was looking for a model to do a vintage themed location shoot and luckily came across Florence’s port and after contacting her she was happy to do this.

Pre comms were quite detailed between us to sort out the details of clothes and styling for the shoot this was all done with ease so that we both knew what to expect on the day.

Florence turned up for the shoot with her hair and make up done, and I do appreciate the amount of time and effort it must have taken before the shoot to do this, it fitted the 1920’s theme of the shoot to perfection plus having a case full of the the clothes for the specific period really made the shoot a huge success.

From my point of view the shoot was really enjoyable to do, and this was down to Florence’s input and enthusiasm on the day so we finished up in my opinion with some great images.

Yes I would recommend Florence to other Photographers and I am hoping to do another shoot with her again at a later date.

When I first came across Florence's portfolio notes I was struck by her interest in Victorian and Edwardian imagery. I have a collection of original costumes and have been looking for a model to display them at their best, which requires a combination of attitude, looks and unfortunately size - they're rather like Cinderella's slipper in terms of fit. Florence looked very encouraging, so we started talking and eventually arranged a fitting/preliminary shoot at Fareham Studio.

When Florence walked out of the dressing room in the first outfit, not only did it fit her as though it had been made to measure over a hundred years before, but she also fitted it - I was in the presence of a young Edwardian lady on the way to her first ball. Absolutely surreal, and it continued the same way throughout the session. Florence's theatrical background showed through, as did her interest in the subject matter; she was just buzzing and obviously enjoying herself.

We'll unfortunately have to restrict the number of images from the set as it was the forerunner of a future location shoot, but we'll try to post some without giving the game away too much.

Florence is absolutely and completely recommended and I can't wait to shoot her again!

This was my second shoot with Florence and was so excited to get the chance to work with her again. She is a phenomenal model with a keen eye on how to hold her body and interact with the subject and inspiration of the shoots.

Florence’s background in the theatrical arts enables her to perform naturally in front of the camera, take direction as well as being able to pose independently.

I highly recommend her to any photographer out there, she is one of the best in the business.

I had a second shoot with Florence after one year. she turned up immaculately dressed which was amazing and also very good with organising and pre shoot communications. I had to change plan from my original idea which Florence was very accommodating to and which allowed me to get a shoot in before going away. She is exceptionally easy to get on with and was engaging to my ideas and style which helped me work freely to try and get the types of shots i was looking for. Florence's convivial nature and amazing expression made for a relaxed and enjoyable shoot whilst also allowing me to develop my skills as a photographer. I got some very cool shots which im extremely grateful for and would have no hesitation in booking her again.

I recently got the chance to collaborate with florence as a MUA and what a fab shoot it was.

Florence has such a beautiful face with striking features making it so easy to do make up on.

When Iris ferret mentioned wanting to do something big and avant garde i have just the look in mind for florence.

It was a sweet dusty candy floss inspired look that i had wanted to do for such a long time and florence was just the perfect model for this.

We also did a dark evil queen look and she posed both looks so well and transformed her chatacter so well for each look.

I 100% reccomend working with florence she is so versatile and so beautiful. She also has an amazing wardrobe and can cinch her corset so so tiny creating some incredible exaggerated curves.

Thanks for a fab shoot florence. You smashed it.

Wow, what a shoot!

I was over the moon when Florence (who has been on my WTWW list for some time now) contacted me to say she'd be visiting Wales soon and wanted to shoot something 'big' together. I leapt at the chance!

We'd planned for two looks on the day; an Evil Queen look and an Avant Garde candyfloss look. Having recruited the HMUA and design services of Saffron Evans (MrsKinkInk), we got to planning. Florence is an incredibly organised, thoughtful model who plans for even the tiniest of details; something which makes all the difference in my opinion. She was kind enough to send me shots of all her potential outfits during the planning stages (and my God does she have some beautiful clothes) and we formulated a plan. Her communication was top notch - both before and after the shoot.

We were shooting at Brecon Mountain Railway; a natural beauty spot in South Wales and Florence came armed with a literal suitcase of outfits and her beautiful hair already styled perfectly. We started with the Evil Queen look first and Florence looked absolutely incredible! She embodied the character; beautiful, deadly and elegant. And never in all my years have I seen somebody cinch their waist to the teeny tiny extremes that Florence managed - she even managed to sit down and crawl whilst wearing it! How she could even breathe properly, I don't know, but it didn't seem to impede her posing (or breathing) one bit. Now that's dedication! Given that Florence has also studied as a photographer, this gave her an edge with her posing and many times, she'd already moved towards the right lighting before I even needed to ask. What a pro!

Florence is an absolutely lovely person through and through; incredibly friendly, sweet, easy to talk to, with a wonderful personality and working with her felt like hanging out with an old friend. She's also one of the most interesting people I've met for some time now, with an array of talents up her sleeve. Florence is currently studying acting and you can definitely tell - her flawless posing and expressions really added a secondary depth to the characters she embodied. Whether it was dark and scary or cute and silly, Flo smashed it all! I'm sure we'll see great things from this young woman on Broadway one day!

Though the shoot didn't go entirely to plan due to one; the unfortunate arrival of a nosey 'Karen' and two; the weather suddenly turning to rain, Florence was a consummate professional throughout and took everything in stride. She adapted to the situation with ease and made the best of things until the rain cleared. A hard worker, Flo was happy to try some of my stranger ideas and the time just flew by. Where did those six hours go?!

I haven't laughed that much on shoot for some time now and I left our shoot absolutely beaming! We got some brilliant shots and I can't wait to show her what we got. If she'll have me, I'll definitely be pestering Florence for round two at some point. I can see big things on the horizon for Florence in the modelling industry and I know she'll only be in greater and greater demand as time goes on.

If you haven't worked with Florence yet, why not? You need to before she hits Broadway and you lose the chance forever!

This was a second shoot with Florence. It was arranged at fairly short notice but, as Florence is a great communicator, everything went smoothly. We had discussed wardrobe in advance (Florence has an extensive range of outfits) and she arrived with everything we had agreed upon and more. She approached the shoot itself with enthusiasm, posing both with and without direction as things progressed. She is great company too, which all makes for an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

I booked an afternoon shoot with Florence for a 1950’s themed shoot along the Tiverton canal. It was an area that I had never visited before so it took some planning and investigating to find the best locations. There was much planning with Florence and her pre-shoot communications and assistance were excellent.

Florence arrived with all the outfits and props requested and with make up on and ready to start shooting. The weather was scorching hot and the strong sunshine threw up some challenges with a mixture of harsh shadows and dappled light under the canal side trees. Her posing is proficient and natural and she also quite happily accepted having to do several retakes in some cases due to the contrasting harsh light. We covered a few miles walk along the canal and Florence managed two further full outfit changes en-route.

Florence has an amazing assortment of outfits and was good at interpreting the style of image that I was after. She also has a wonderful personality and is so easy to get along with that the time just flew by. An extremely enjoyable shoot and I fully expect to work with her again.

Had a fantastic first shoot with Florence! comms before the shoot were spot on and we discussed some locations and styling for each of them - Florence was bang on time ready with amazing makeup and her first outfit ready to shoot :-) we shot a range of locations around Staunton Park and Florence created different styling for each set we shot and delivered some fantastic posing! :-) Florence is very photogenic and very easy to work with and great fun! :-) had a really enjoyable shoot and came away with fabulous images - totally recommend Florence and can't wait to work with her again! :-)

Mind in the Shutter

I recently had my first shoot with Florence; a creative half-day outdoor shoot with two makeup looks, collaborating with a makeup artist.

Florence is a fantastic model to work with. Pre-shoot comms were very smooth and she made the shoot easy to organise. She has access to an amazing wardrobe and went to great lengths to have the right outfits on the day, which I was extremely grateful for as the dresses she brought were stunning.

Shooting outdoors with natural light is sometimes tricky, and not as comfortable as a controlled studio environment, but Florence took it all in her stride and we managed to cope with the changing weather conditions. She is patient, easygoing and takes direction very well, which is extremely helpful for shoots such as these! She has a wonderful look and suits 'natural' and more avant-garde makeup styles very well.

I had a really great shoot with her and am very happy with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her, and very much look forward to working with her again in future!

I met lovely Florence on my shoot with mindshutterphotos, I was actually asked last minute due to the previous MUA having to cancel. But I had a look at Florence's instagram and was so excited to work with such a raw, classical looking model. She was great at being a make up model, very patient and friendly. From behind the camera I can already tell we have some great shots and we all worked really well together! very excited for the edits!

We had a wonderful first shoot with Florence!

She was great at communicating prior to the shoot and was very dedicated from the start, making lots of stylish suggestions and bringing some stunning vintage pieces on the day.

Florence really cared about the looks we wanted to achieve and threw herself into the shoot to get the best possible shots, all whilst looking effortlessly cool.
