This shoot was organised over a very short time period, and from my point of view was mostly about learning how to take some decent head and shoulders portraits. These were to have a slight vintage theme and take place in a very small home studio. I was lucky in that Florence threw herself into this comparatively unexciting project with enthusiasm and we were able to produce work that was very much what I had planned. Florence has an excellent wardrobe of vintage clothing that fitted my theme well and she wears it well. We spent some time organising costume before the shoot with Florence sending me numerous pictures of her wardrobe collection. Hopefully some of the shots that we created did indeed hint of the eras of Katherine Hepburn, Doris Day and Rita Hayworth. Luckily for me Florence is a good actor as well as a good model! She showed excellent organisation, was punctual to the minute and worked hard throughout our two hours together. I would be very happy to work with her again and give an unconditional recommendation

Throughly enjoyed a shoot where Florence initially helped me work on headshots - she showed great patience and had plenty of valuable advice. We then took time to shoot around the studio in some of her fantastic vintage outfits, including a new (old) dress that really suited a fashion style she embodies so well.

I'm very pleased with the images we created and found Florence to be great fun and really helpful on set. Her excellent communication when organising the shoot made for a smooth first shoot for me too.

I had a great shoot with Florence after some excellent communications, including the opportunity to view, via the interweb, her truly vast collection of vintage and vintage style outfits. It has to be seen to be believed.

With the help of a punctual train Florence arrived bang on time with the chosen selection of ouitfits.

Coupled with some of J9 studio’s outfits we had more than enough to keep us going for the day. Indeed I introduced Florence to the finer points (literally for those of you who know about these things) of vintage nylons. These enhanced several dresses to fantastic effect, with spot on and appropriate poses from her - all done with great charm and enthusiasm. Huge fun to work with.

With Florence’s prior agreement I had invited a couple of camera club members along for the afternoon and they were equally impressed.

So quite a long day, but Florence kept up the pace right to the end, when she then had a longish journey home – so I was pleased to get a text to say she had arrived safely.

BTW Florence’s outfits included some classy corsetry as well as some classic posh cardigans. Talk about contrasts! The corsets were irresistible, but I am looking forward to a second session when I can shoot the cardies.

Meanwhile, if you want Florence’s styles, outfits and posing you won’t go wrong booking her.

Another shoot with Florence, this time to shoot a "Back to the Future" set at The Granary Studio, complete with a genuine DeLorean.

Florence's acting experience always comes through in her attitude and posing, and true to form she delivered in spades. Knowing her enthusiasm for the theme I wasn't surprised and we came away with some wonderful images.

Thoroughly recommended - we've already got another two shoots at the planning stage.

We hosted the amazing Florence for a Back to the Future themed studio day in August. Having worked so hard on the costume and already have creative ideas in her mind, our connection to the TV & Film industry allowed us to bring in a DeLorean to make the shoot extra special.

From day one Florence was great at communication. very flexible to dates and giving some creative steering when it came to the look for the shoot in terms of extra lighting and prop placement. Everyone that came along was blown away by the whole shoot and that was mostly down to Florences professionalism, personality and no doubt the resembelance to Lorraine Baines!

Now she's back in our area I'm looking forward to many more collaborative shoots in the year to come and can't wait to see what amaszing shots can be produced. 100% recommend shooting with Florence.

Florence was booked in for a studio day with a Delorean, and it broke down on the way.

Whilst waiting we had a little impromptu session, some Hollywood lighting and playing around with some other Noir type styling.

Florence is a delightful lady and a great model, especially when posing for a vintage look.

for a off the cuff shoot, we got some great vintage looking images.

I had a very productive and enjoyable shoot with Florence a couple of years ago, so when I learned that she was back in my area for a little while I was keen to work with her again.

That second shoot was yesterday. It was another all-day shoot. I've just downloaded the pics so I've had a sneak preview of them on a proper screen, and I must say that I'm bl**dy chuffed with them. Much of that is down to Florence's individuality, her theatrical capabilities, her imaginative wardrobe and her eye for styling. She brings soooooooo much to a shoot.

As well as that she's a very lovely person to work with, she's full of energy (it was an all-day shoot during heatwave - when I started wilting, she could have kept on going for longer!) and she's totally reliable.

Thanks for another good 'un, Florence. You're a delight to work with.

This was my 1st shoot with Florence and was a pleasure to arrange. After sorting out the location she provided a great selection of outfits to choose from. All went to plan we had a fantastic location shoot round the Harbour in Bristol.

Florence is a lovely lady and always has a smile on her face, happy to give input and all in all this was a very relaxed and enjoyable shoot with some great images resulting.

I will look to shoot again with Florence and recommend her at all photographers from beginners to experienced.

I had wanted to work with Florence for some time and recently finally got the opportunity to do so.The shoot was on location in Tiverton.

Her communication was brilliant and having decided what style of shoot I wanted to do I received pictures of various options and was asked to pick my favourites.

On the day of the shoot we arranged a meeting place and I spent a very enjoyable 90 minutes walking round Tiverton taking her picture. She is an absolute pleasure to spend time with and to photograph. She is also very versatile and has so many different looks.

In front of the camera she is very professional and can pose without direction, she also has a good eye for a location. I hope to shoot with her again and have no hesitation in recommending her as a great model to work with.

Florence is approachable and friendly.

Pre-shoot she was clearly organised and made every effort to be well prepared for our photoshoot.

She was able to assimilate and contribute to the ideas I had in mind. Once general direction was given at the beginning, Florence needed little other direction. Her performance background meant she could pose in an unforced natural way with ease.

As a result we were able to work constructively and efficiently.

Florence has an extensive wardrobe of vintage clothes, some of which we were able to utilise on the day.

She maintained her composure and humour throughout, even though it was an outdoor shoot on a blazing hot day.

Given the chance I would certainly like to work with Florence again.

Definitely recommended.

As others have noted Florence is a joy to work with on a shoot. Her pre-comms were very organised and thorough. It was very helpful that she sent images of her available vintage outfits well ahead of the shoot so that I could choose the looks we would shoot.

Florence arrived on time, made up and in her first outfit, so within a few minutes of meeting we were underway shooting. Despite the bright sunshine Florence coped very well with the glaring light at times. Her acting training meant that she was alert yet relaxed,and she has a very good deportement. She is very easy to work with, takes direction well but also can pose readily without.

Florence also has a very charming personality, and her engaging nature is readily apparent in the images we shot. Absolutely recommended and I hope that I will get another chance to shoot with Florence in the future.

I did a shoot with Florence recently, where we picked a local town and found some cool lights and reflections to experiment with. Florence is really easy to work with, takes direction well and is friendly and approachable. I’d happily recommend working with her and I’m sure we’ll shoot together again at some point in the future.

I got in contact with Florence via instagram where we planned our shoot together. She is a very skilled model and knows how to create striking poses and portray emotions. We did a fine art shoot together and Florence posed very elegant and was a perfect fit for that style.

When Florence arrived she was ready to shoot and had already done a very nice make-up and hair style. She contributed two stunning dresses. I can wholeheartedly recommend Florence as a model and I hope that we will shoot again in the future. :)

I just had a shoot with Florence which is the third one now. I was trying out some flash lighting. Florence makes excellent portraits, she is a very nice model with a charming personality. we got some nice ones down by the river which look great and im looking forward to posting them up. I had to mess about with the camera and flash set up a few times and Florence is very patient no trouble at all, switching up poses and looks when I was ready. the shoot was extremely easy to arrange and Florence turned up perfectly on time and looking 100% amazing which obviously is important for good pictures. the pictures look lovely and im really pleased. looking forward to another shoot again sometime, we were lucky with the sunshine today!

Had my first shoot with Florence yesterday at the Fareham Studio. I met with Florence on time at the station, Florence arrived with a case full of outfits that I had previously chosen from multiple images of her vast selection of beautiful dresses and cosets.

Florence was ready to shoot with hair style and make-up already done, the three hours flew past although suspected problems with spot focusing of my ageing camera got in the way for the first part of the shoot. Thankfully this did not phase Florence who moved from pose to pose with no effort at all including at least four changes of outfits.

Florence is a lovely person to work with and puts in a hundred percent to the shoot, I can absolutely recommend Florence to any photographer and hope to do a further shoot in the near future

My second shoot with Florence, this time on a distinctly different theme to our last one. As before, she was a joy to work with; she has bags of enthusiasm and puts everything into the shoot. Her acting background again shows through in the way she adapts her poses to the individual outfits and settings.

Absolutely recommended and we'll definitely be shooting again!
