What an amazing and creative photographer.

We arranged to collaborate on a pin up photo shoot at his home studio in Birmingham.

I arrived to a friendly smile and greeted into his home where I was looked after very well. I had a lovely cuppa tea and a clean spacious room to set up in. I didn't feel pressured or uneasy at all, in fact quite the opposite.

His studio was well kitted out with all the modern technology. Russ was creative and flexible and encouraged my input and ideas for poses.

Again there wasn't a rush to finish the shoot but was very flexible even working later than anticipated for some fun photos, which turned out too, to be amazing.

The same night of the photo shoot Russ has emailed me a link to the Dropbox where he had made a start on editing the photos. They were amazing to say the least!! Over the past week Russ has even gone as far as to contact magazines and other sources to get the photos publicized.

It was a pleasure to have worked with Russ on this shoot and I hope to work with him again.

What can I say! Russ is fantastic he is very clever at his art in photography. We had been talking about shoots on and off and finally decided on Pin- up as this is something we both haven't done before, I had the outfits and he had the great studio and skills to go with it. I also brought along my two fab hair and MUA ladies who agreed to come along - Helen and Gemma, who brought the shoot together perfectly. Russ accommodated space for us all to get ready and then begin shooting with a selection of props all of us had sourced even his old polar bear!

Had such a fun shoot and would 104937359% recommend him to every model and creative out there. His photos speak for themselves. Thankyou and really hope we get to work together again :)

Russ is a very creative and quirky photographer with some pretty different artistic ideas - don't let that put you off though! Quirky ideas but Russ made me feel completely comfortable and we had a laugh whilst getting some pretty awesome shots so I highly recommend!

Also, he makes a good cup of tea - win win!

Had a wicked time working with Russ I thoroughly enjoyed myself. lots of unique ideas to bring to a shoot, he is a very technically skilled photographer, whose creative ideas made the shoot very fun and productive. The sneak little peek I've seen of the images are fantastic and I can't wait to see the rest.

Shooting with Russ was absolutely brilliant!

Right from the start the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. He gave great direction, had lots of ideas and took massive attention to detail with the lighting to create some wonderful shots.

It was a very fun shoot and I would definitely & highly recommend.

Had my first shoot with Russ yesterday and he was amazing. Every time I saw the photographs he had taken I said wow. Russ was open to my suggestions with regards it hair and makeup and was willing to let me experiment. On arrival the first thing I got was a cuppa which is a winner in my book ;) I would love to work with Russ again x

I had my first shoot with Russ today in a derelict location in Birmingham, I must say that he is lovely to work with, super friendly and most importantly...he is one of the most creative photographers i have come across.

What i love about him is that he pays attention to fine detail, light and experiments shooting poses in different angles in order to get the best possible shots.

Throughout the shoot he made me feel very comfortable and he showed me the images on the camera after each set which i loved.

I definitely recommend working with this talented photographer if you ever get the chance!!

Had my second shoot with Russ yesterday for a style id not done before.

As always communication was great. Especially for a short notice shoot.

I needed a set taking for an online mag and he came up with a few ideas, we tried them all and I'm confident we have a strong set of final images :)

Made me feel comfortable throughout the entire shoot, professional and let me warm up when I got too cold outside :p.

Had a great shoot with Russ. He is very creative and has a strong knowledge of light settings, levels and effects he can get. There was a great atmosphere and music to really relax and shoot. Studio was warm. Tea was also provided and was delicious. Highly recommend an was amazing to work with. X

After finally plucking up the courage I asked Russ if we could collaborate and I was over-the-moon when he said yes :)

We shot earlier today on a derelict location and we shot art nude, implied, alt glam and casual abstract.

He has a cool,calm approach and always gives of a great vibe. His angles, lighting and inspiration gave us clear insight of what images we would achieve.

Russ made me feel comfortable throughout the whole shoot, his pre comms were amazing too, he kept me up-to-date daily with organising the shoot . Russ offered me hot beverages before and after the shoot which I thought was very hospitable of him :) very kind :)

He showed me all images of the shoot through the camera which I greatly admire.

I will definitely be shooting with Russ again and highly recommend him :)

I shot with Russ today in his studio, he had some interesting creative ideas which were fun to model. He's a great guy and made me feel comfortable, his studio is homely and I loved the rock vibe. Overall I found Russ to be a joy to work with and I look forward to seeing the pictures. Highly recommended :)

I shot with Russ last week and had a greatly time, it was a chance to get quite creative and have my own input with regards to the feelings rated to the concept. Russ has some really refreshing ideas and I don't see this changing anytime soon so I'd highly recommend him!

I had been chatting to Russ for a while about doing a shoot together and his communication has always been good :). We decided to do a last minute shoot together when we were ranting about things being slow to take off :p. Russ is a great photographer but he has an awful dress sense- he was wearing crocs :O. But all joking aside he was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone. I look forward to shooting with him again and getting more awesome images. Xx

Russ and I had discussed a shoot for a very long time and when it came to the day of the shoot we both had open minds but still a clear idea of what we wanted to try. He was wonderful to be around and fun to shoot with, especially between shots when we could actually communicate and have a laugh. He was nothing but attentive to me and had some amazing places to shoot in, his shed (yes shed) for example. Would definitely recommend!

Russ is amazing, it's as simple as that. He is kind, courteous, and is very passionate about his photography. He had great communication prior to the shoot and we knew exactly what we wanted to gain through these communications (even though we may have deviated ever so slightly :p). I shot with Russ on Monday (Bank Holiday) and I had a great time. He was very nice and patient and I could see how passionate he is about his job as he was working very hard.Very easy going, funny but professional in the same way. I am so happy that I took the decision to travel and do this shot with him as it has been a great experience and I am grateful for the great photos I can add to my portfolio.
