References for Fay Gibbons

I worked with Fay on her 'WhoDunit' themed character development FMP shoots, and it was a real tour de force.

Pre-shoot comms were great, and she set up a group chat to make sure we were all on the same page.

She'd put together a big team, with 5 models over 3 days, a videographer for BTS, and a production assistant.

She was entirely on top of the whole process, communicating a clear vision, from mood boards, set, prop and costume design to art directing the shoots.

Fay was calm, professional and organised throughout - even when we had a model drop out on the evening before the next day's shoot (Fay organised a replacement).

The characters embraced a wide variety of styles, showcasing her skills in special effects (ageing, a dead body - and a 'slutty alcoholic'), a varied demographic (age, gender, ethnicity). The photographic moods ranged from from portrait, through cinematic, to Hollywood glamour/beauty.

Her makeup / sfx skills were impeccable, and her timings were spot-on.

Most importantly, she made sure there was more than enough food for everyone :)

It was a real pleasure working with Fay, and of course I'd be more than happy to work with her again. Thoroughly recommended.

Russ FTL

A model friend organised Fay for a shoot featuring herself and 2 other models. Fay turned up on time and got to work on said friend while i nipped out to pick up one of the other girls. Between the staggered arrivals and Fay's cool head, we managed to get the first look up and running in no time. We did a few different looks though out the day and she even got involved with ideas and direction too. She was easy to chat to and fit in with the small team perfectly.. well apart from abusing the pizza of all it's toppings.

We had a terrific, relaxed shoot today with Sylvie Rose at Far Forest. Fay was prompt and prepared, having thought through our planned sets. She worked hard and created some great looks. I thoroughly recommend her!

Oooh oooh, forgot to mention - VERY good with hair too!

Far Forest Studio

We were pleased to welcome Fay to our studio today for her first visit.

She arrived on time and well prepared for the planned shoot MUA & hair styles.

Watching from the side she produced some wonderful hairstyles and perfect make up which suited the needs of the shoot perfectly.

As well as talented and efficient she has a lovely personality which made for great company for the whole day. A perfect combination.

Highly recommended to any studio, model or photographer and we hope she will visit us again soon.
