What a place it is, the studio is all you need

Thank You So Much for the studio day and allowing me to bring the pooch with me! So grateful.

The studio is always warm and there are heaters if you're cold, the changing room is clean and has everything needed, the studio has enough space with multiple backgrounds and the grounds outside are perfect to shoot in.....when the British Weather is in a good mood.

Hope to shoot again in warmer weather.

My first visit to Far Forest Studio. Nice well equipped studio with lots of room and an ideal location. Ample opportunity to shoot out doors with an array of locations designed by Mark. Next visit I hope the weather will allow for an out door shoot. A studio well worth using

This was my first shoot at the Far Forrest and it was fantastic. There is so much choice in one place to shoot from the studio to the woodland and waterfall, it’s even got a graveyard scene which I’m looking forward to creating some Halloween scenes. I would highly recommend this location, you are looked after so well, from having your own dressing room with a shower, tea coffee and snacks. I really enjoyed my shoot here and can’t wait to get back out there again.

My first time at Far Forest and how impressed I was .... fantastic setting and the studio is equipped with everything you require . A beautiful dressing room with light up mirror great for doing makeup ! Mark provides tea and coffee also biscuits and sweets to give you energy and Mark is such a lovely man chatty and helpful .The studio has great props different colour backgrounds even a bed ..... loved my shoot here and hopefully won’t be long till I’m back again !

What can I say that hasn't already been said... Nothing really, had my first shoot at Far Forest this week and other than the weather not being great (not the studios fault, obviously) it was brilliant.

We made use of the studio with various different light set-ups, it was warm, spacious and well equipped. The room is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. It was great.

We had a good nosey around while we were there and I'm sure we will be back to make use of all the outside photo opportunities as well as utilising the main studio. Thanks Mark, we had a great 4 hours, we will be back.

Far Forest is spacious, immaculately clean and has great changing facilities for the model and all the lighting, modifiers, props etc a photographer would ever need. Plus Mark is absolutely the best, the model and I had a fantastic time there and will be returning very soon.

Far Forest is nestled within a beautifully idyllic setting surrounded by woods and you just feel at home right away. We felt like we had known Mark for years at the end of the shoot. Far Forest and Mark have my recommendation, a great location, a great studio and a wonderful host.

Had my first ever shoot here and what can I say WOW it’s absolutely stunning. Such a good facility so many props and backdrops. Little tea room changing room makeup room. Absolutely stunning outside aswell. Can’t wait to come back

We had are first visit here. There is a well equipped studio with lights, props and costumes to use. Mark asked what we wanted and set the lights up and we just moved them as we wanted. The waterfall is great just a little cold on the day. Nice woodlands to shoot in and even nice to just have a walk in at the end of the shoot. It would have been nice to have spent more time there and seen more wild life. We will be there again soon. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything and a very enjoyable day.

This studio is a hidden gem. A fully equipped studio with shower facilities, dressing room & kitchenette, and then there’s the outdoor spaces. This was my first visit and the shoot mainly took place in the studio and woodland garden which were ideal for the images we wanted to create.

Didn’t get to utilise the hot tub or waterfall sets this time but already got ideas for future projects so I’ll be back to bring them to life.

Definitely recommended this studio. Mark is great for a natter or to assist with the shoot. Excellent value for money. Check it out!

My first ever visit to this Studio was one of absolute stunned into silence, as soon as you get to this location you are in awe of the beauty of the place, the sounds of the wildlife greets you with the euphonious Sound of many birds, I even witnessed my first ever Blue streak of a Kingfisher which means I’ll be back to take advantage of the hides.

Then we get to the Studio, this place of beauty has a Studio (as well as a Waterfall!) and its certainly a Studio packed with Character, fully equipped with lighting, space and a plethora of Model outfits.

If I had the funds then I’d offer to purchase this wonderful studio, but until then, I will have to be content with having this as a studio on my shortlist to return as a regular.

If you live in this area and have never used this Studio then you are missing out as this is certainly a Diamond in a world of costume jewellery.

I had a first shoot at Far Forest studio this week, a duo shoot with Carla and Nicky. I was really surprised how lovely the setting is, great woodland makes a fantastic backdrop there’s also a waterfall, graveyard and a small lake. Inside the studio is well equipped with good lighting backdrops, props etc.

The owner Mark is a really nice friendly guy he has safety in mind and makes sure the shoot goes well. I will definitely be returning and a big recommendation from me.

I had my first shoot at Far Forrest today following a recommendation I'd been given some time ago, and it didn't disappoint!

The studio is a little off the beaten track so satnav is a necessity for finding it but once there it's fantastic. You really are spoiled for choice, private woodlands, waterfall, graveyard set, summer house, gardens, etc.

The studio itself is a fantastic space with plenty of colour backdrops to choose from and a great set of lighting. Decent tea making facilities and changing room for the models, well insulated so it isn't freezing, heating and air conditioning so you can keep it at a pleasant temp.

To top it off you've got Mark on hand to assist with setups, etc. and to have a chat with while your model is changing, etc. He's a really friendly guy with some interesting stories.

In short highly recommended, just wish it was a little nearer to me.

This is a great place to shoot, and the wood is a great backdrop.

Mark was as gracious as usual. We made use of the waterfall, and I did my best to drown Lily. You'll be pleased to hear she survived the experience!

I had heard so many good things about Far Forest from numerous different sources that I was buzzing to have my first ever visit finally booked in on what turned out to be an utterly gorgeous day to make use of the glorious outdoor opportunities at this venue, as well as the studio facilities. :)

I was driving down there-and-back on the day due to still holding off on touring: I'd been given some instructions on finding the place by another photographer who had been as it really is a secluded gem in the Shropshire countryside! Once near; there were signposts pointing the studio out though, and ample parking! Mark and Lynne were straight on-hand to help with my monstrous case and guide me to the studio/changing rooms followed by the grand introductory tour. :D Being met with such lovely assistance and hospitality from the word go was a real life... And then I was really happy because they had green tea! :P Nothing like a fine brew made for you to start you off on a lovely day's shooting.

The studio and location itself is just a dream! You can have your cake and eat it with the opportunities for vast (private) outdoor scenes, as well as all the facilities one would need for creativity within an indoor studio space. My photographer and I really did exert the possibilities for both areas too as we had some themes we wanted to try out inside, plus picturesque visions of nymphs dancing amid trees, around the pond and in the summerhouse was just too good to miss out on! :D It's that type of venue that once you have been for the first time; tonnes of ideas could spiral around your mind about what to shoot on future visits. And at different times of the year too: as I bet it's so pretty and vibrant in Autumn. Darryl and I didn't get around to using the waterfall this time - but this is one of the unique features of Far Forest that I've probably heard the most about! It's not every day you get a cool set like this to make pictures with. We were so enthralled with all the other magical outdoor settings that we could've easily spent another day shooting here and still not uncovered all the yield! We also wanted to get our fabulous 1920's set done for the second half of the day - you can't always do everything. :P We sure made some fine "flapper girl" images that day - and the perfect combination of lighting and props available to us was a definite help aid in allowing us to do the best we could. I have no end of credit to give these guys who have all the foundations laid to offer their clients vast options for productivity in photo shoots - both inside and out in the openness, yet away from the pesky intrusion of public spectators.

From a models perspective: I felt very well looked after and comfortable with all the important essentials that you would hope for in a studio. The changing room is spacious with good mirrors and areas for doing the Flapper makeup... Myself and the photographer had brought all our own outfit provisions for our session, but the studio itself actually had a lot of stuff too. Not least funky props and items of furniture for visiting models and photographers to make use of. :) The whole atmosphere at Far Forest was positive and friendly - we were left to our own devices to get on with our shoot, but Mark and Lynne were on hand if we needed anything at all: lighting shifted, another brew making or just a fun and upbeat natter! It was a very pleasant atmosphere indeed - but safe and professional too. Make and Lynne had also taken the Coronavirus situation very seriously and put things in place to make models and photographers feel that their safety was a top priority in challenging times.

Therefore; Far Forest is most definitely a place that I highly recommend to other creatives. :)

I've shot at Far Forest loads of times and always have a good time but given the present situation I thought that a extra reference is deserved for the way Mark is handling 'social distancing' and safety at the studio. Everything is clearly explained up front and everything in place on arrival. Having made sure that everyone is ok, Mark leaves the immediate studio area but pops his head in at intervals to check everything is ok.

He has done such a good job with safety that you hardly notice that it is happening which is my best compliment.

As always this studio gets my fullest recommendation for any photographer or model.

My 1st visit to Far Forest Studio today. I had only recently realised that it is only 2 miles away from 1 of my favourite models. I used the outside parts, it’s very forest-like and looks really great there. Thank you Mark for your hospitality. I will return.

A hidden treasure right on my doorstep. An enchanting dell setting in middle of forest. Mark was very welcoming and friendly . Everything was immaculate and safe re COVID-19 social distancing Etc. I really look forward to returning to shoot there again and highly recommend this studio. Big indoor high ceiling studio with changing room. Lots of costumes too. Outdoors is stunning, surrounded by nature but also have back up of studio if it rains. A very private tranquil setting 😊
