I am very fortunate that this studio is not just closest to me but is also the best in the South.

I had the great pleasure of working here with the lovely Victoriah yesterday at very short notice after she unexpectedly became free.

Andy as always was amazing and just made it happen. He is also a master of light and always willing to advise or mentor as required. Even though I have over 20 years experience I always learn something new when I visit.

The studio is very well appointed with everything a photographer or model requires and you are always given a friendly, warm welcome and offer of hot drinks.

I can unreservedly highly recommend Fareham Studio to all photographers, models and creatives.

It's been a hot minute since I left a review for this awesome studio. I've actively lost track of how many times I've shot here now, especially given I have 4 shoots there this month alone.

It's always my go-to whenever I need a proper studio space. The available sets, gear, and props just make me feel so fortunate to live close by to it.

Both Andy and Rin who run it are always more than willing to assist with setting things up or shifting things around, combine that with their knowledge of lighting or inventive ways of utilising the space, and it's just a solid combo.

So if you're in the Fareham area and you need a great studio space, look no further!

Thank you so much to Sinopa for her wonderful welcome. I immediately felt completely at home and ready to shoot. The facilities are superb including available light areas and all the studio flash equipment you could ask for. The studio definitely benefits from a female touch with lush and luxurious fabrics and decor whilst also having copious props and furniture.

Parking is plentiful and adjacent to the studio. I will definitely be booking the studio again soon. I can’t thank Sinopa enough for her help and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Fareham Studio is an amazing studio to work in, not only for its fantataic set choices, but also for for its lovely hosts.

Andy ran my studio day, and from initial message onwards everything ran super smoothly. I was greeted on arrival with my bags carried in and a cup of tea put in my hand. Andy was polite and professional throughout, never entering my personal space or the model changing room. He was also on hand to assist all of the photographers throughout the day, as well as keep supplying tea/coffee!

The studio itself looks magnificent with multiple set options to be used throughout. Its got a good selection of lighting as well as natural light, and a good balance of the two.

I really enjoy working in this lovely studio and will happily return!

Thankyou for a great day!

Yet another great shoot at Fareham studio.

This time with Selina069 and Azrael, 'Peaky Blinders' themed birthday shoot.

Even though Andy Gaden got very short notice of the theme, once again he was spot on with his background suggestion and lighting.

Maybe it's the 'cup of tea' greeting on arrival, the banter interspersed with advise, or it could be the totally professional and friendly manner in which the studio is run which makes it a great place to shoot.

I would highly rcommend Fareham Studio and look forward to shooting there agaim.

I applied for another last minute casting for Sinopa Rin for what it is our 2nd shoot.

Since our first shoot in Bath 2018. She is now a partner in Fareham Studio.

I don’t much opportunity to photograph in Studio’s despite having relevant books. So little opportunity to practice with Studio Lighting. I am very much working with available light.

A lot of studios I know or have used have unfortunately closed.

Various difficulties getting there so over 1 hour late but very understanding.

Fareham Studio itself is a completely unassuming place being literally an industrial unit.

Downstairs has plenty of room for Studio work, a toilet (most helpful) and as something Sinopa is keen on, a separate changing area for the model (ideal), a kitchen and cold water at least from the fridge which was most welcome.

The party piece is when you go upstairs.

To the right of the stairs on the 2nd floor is a shower for wet look shoots. In front of that is a white wall area with a fireplace and a laminated wood floor. A chair can be moved on there for use.

Adjacent to that at the back with the windows there is a bleached white panelled wall decorated with words and art in a French style.

To the left of the stairs and adjacent to what I call the white room is a living room type set. Featuring a vintage red leather buttoned armchair and tables and lighting, green walls, white painted floor with vintage rugs.

Move further left from the stairs past the sitting room set and you come to a doorway for a bedroom set.

Left of that towards the front of the building is a snug. Colourfully and comfortably decorated to function almost as a second bedroom with a natural earthtone look including orange.

It is called the Orange Corner but having visited Tunisia, it seems very Arabian to me. Cue recall of Bailey with the Getty’s in Morocco.

The Bedroom itself is white double with white furniture including bedside tables, neutral and light colours. Very French and feminine vibe.

That is just the sets we used. There is an excellent description on the studio page (crucially what do you have) and most usefully a 360 view of the studio.

Indeed the whole vibe upstairs is French and Feminine and I do include the Arabian to me Orange Corner.

The whole setup can be easily and quickly redressed to suit any kind of photography.

Inspired and most suiting design and colour choices throughout.

The best feature I found is the spectacular natural light coming in from windows at the rear and left sides.

So good I didn’t bother with any studio lightning and the sets are very authentic anyway. Fareham would have all the studio equipment you would ever need.

I had very limited contact with the other partner in Fareham Studio apart from a quick hello and goodbye.

Sinopa Rin. Model, Photographer and Artist does know her subject.

Affordability is always a problem but Fareham Studio is easily accessible by train and having got there I know my way there and back although note to self, you may find it easier to get a cab from the station.

I know what I am getting from booking Fareham Studio so despite their rates and some changes from 1st February 2024.

I would more than recommend Fareham Studio whatever the photography and whoever you are photographing

Particularly so in the right time of day and year for that light, priceless!

Book here for studio work as soon as you can.

Mark.

Today I had my first visit to Fareham Studio shooting with Maryna Sedin and I was absolutely not disappointed. Booking was simple, easy and uncomplicated as were the preshoot coms. On arrival welcome refreshments were offered with a warm welcome.

I had 4 hours booked and the time just flew by. I was able to shoot in both natural and studio lighting. The Studio was clean and very well equipped with a great range of lights, backdrops and props and Andy was a superb help, with equipment and lighting, suggestions and ideas. He was there on hand to help if we needed but unobtrusive, letting us get on with things as we needed. I picked up some Photoshop tips and equipment / lighting ideas - every shoot is an education for me and this was no exception thanks to Andy's expertise.

I highly recommend Fareham to both the professional and hobbyist / new photographers and I am sure I will be back for further shoots in the future.

Thank you for a great mornings shoot Andy

The studio is really easy to find with free parking and Andy was very welcoming on arrival. Great studio with everything you could possibly need and even a cup of tea thrown in to make the evening a pleasant sociable atmosphere. Highly recommended and will definitely be back to shoot there again.

I haven't worked at Fareham before but I had heard good reports. Cariad Celis and I did an 'Ice Queen' set and Andy was inspirational in helping get the lighting right.

I will be going back.

Andy thank you

Last weekend was my first visit to Fareham studio and it should go without saying, but it will absolutely not be my last! Between us we managed to sell out three full studio days with each photographer in attendance being absolutely wonderful. Of course, Andy and Rin (studio owners/operators) were both incredible. On hand during every shoot to assist where needed/wanted with lighting, backdrops etc. and wholly accommodating to everyone in attendance. There is a reason that they have such a vast list of regular models and photographers and I certainly hope to become an addition to it.

The studio offers a variety of sets, great studio and natural lighting and the boundless knowledge of two great photographers, whom I will add, will stay out of the way if no assistance is required just as long as everybody feels safe and happy. I certainly did for the duration of my visit.

In summary: If you're a model or photographer considering a trip to Fareham studio, stop considering and get it done. You will not be disappointed.

I've shot here many times with Andy and Rin, but I think this last deserves an accolade. I switched places with another local photographer to shoot in week (thank heavens for flexi-time policies!) and ran into a conflict when another photographer arrived at the same time booked to the model and not the studio (lesson for us all, to keep everyone informed of bookings :-) ) - but Rin adapted quickly and calmly, and both she and our muse for the day agreed to stay on for an additional shoot in the evening. Total kudos.

The studio itself is a brilliant space for imagery as 570 previous references demonstrate - and I'll certainly be back!

I had the pleasure of working at Fareham Studio this weekend having been booked for a shoot here. Andy was extremely welcoming from the moment I arrived and made me feel instantly comfortable, this made for a really pleasant experience. Andy offered me a tea and to be honest this was the first time in 7 years of modelling that someone had dairy free milk! Haha so thank you for thinking of the ones who can't have dairy. It's the small things that create the biggest impact! Anyway, if you're really lucky you might just get a free history lesson from Andy on everything there is to know about Gosport. Andy was always on hand whenever he was needed and was always happy to help, accomodate and suggest ideas where lighting set up was concerned. The one thing that also stood out for me was the privacy that he gave us when shooting; as depending on the scenario, it can sometimes feel uncomfortable to have someone else who is not part of the shoot closely watching everything you do, particularly when a model is shooting nude. So full respect there!

The set up of the studio was also amazing and I absolutely loved the different theme set ups in all the spaces upstairs!

Thank you for being a genuinely lovely person, for the chats and laughs! I will definitely be coming back to shoot again and recommending to all photographers :D

Had a fabulous. Full day at Fereham Studio - highly recommend - hell of a trek for me but still well worth the effort and a lovely part of the country too. Andy was awesome and was on hand throughout the day and came in very 'andy 😂

Set up amazing - two floors to suit all tastes and lighting preferences too. I will be back there soon 👍

An Eye for Beauty

I have wanted to visit Fareham Studio for some while, but as it is a fairly long drive, I had hesitated. Yesterday I took the plunge and had a shoot with both Rin and another model in one day. It was nearly 12 hours from the time I left home to return but well worth it. I love the various settings, and the amount of natural light upstairs, and no doubt will return next year.

I had a fantastic time working from Fareham studio last week.

Andy as always was a first class host offering help with everything photographer's needed. Andy also is so nice to talk too and always with positive attitude :)

The studio space is beautifully decorated with endless background options, from painted backdrops to amazing photo sets, I totally fell in love with the artists corner set !!!

Thank you Fareham studio for a fun and productive day, Irida ♥
