When I’m travelling I like to keep up people photography and try whenever I can to be in a position to do some consensual portraiture .
This lady is of the Himba tribe in Namibia . The Himba live a pastoralist and partly nomadic life , dependent on goats and chickens and some cattle . Their homes are temporary and usually from bush materials . Women are often clothed below the waist only unless it is a cold morning . They supplement their income with sales of home made bracelets and other trinkets to tourists .
