Bokeh with 500mm mirror lens

I got a Reflex Nikkor 500mm F8 very cheap on the auction site that I have now banned myself from visiting and this was when I was experimenting with it. I came to the conclusion that the doughnut bokeh was just too unnatural looking and distracting for general photography, but might have occasional uses for quirky pictures. In terms of sharpness it is not bad, but nowhere near as good as the Nikon 500mm F4.
