Autumn leaves on a pear tree

Today's challenge was shooting birds and autumn leaves in my garden with an 800mm lens handheld. This is the really beaten up manual focus Nikkor IFED 800mm F5.6 AIS which I got from a Daily Express photographer. It is full of dust, the focussing is not very smooth and it has taken a few massive bangs so that the front is no longer round. Shot on D3S at ISO 1250 wide open at 1/640 sec. Sadly I didn't see a single bird today.
