Came over for a shoot with Andy (George Ffesning) and we were very lucky with the weather. Nick as always was a fab host, there if we needed him but stayed out of the way if not, he's done a lot of work inside the studio to allow for the restrictions and rules due to covid.

Thanks once again and I'm sure I'll be back again at some point, highly recommended by me! :D

Nick was my choice for my first shoot post lockdown with the lovely Leah Meraki. Good weather so we could shoot outside. Nick is a most genial host and knows when to help and when to stand back. As usual he tolrated my ideas and was most handy with the fill in lighting via my big reflector. Nick has improved the inside too and we could have managed had it rained. Highy recommended. I will be back.

I visited the studio for the second time yesterday, and it was every bit as great as the first! Nick is an amazing host, and very professional is his approach. He is a very kind individual, who loves to get involved and help out whenever needed. Even holding a fan for my shoot! He is very respectful of everyone, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his facilities. His studio is based in a fantastic location, where the studio and location can both be equally accessed. There is great grounds surrounding the studio, perfect to capture any sort of image. The studio is also fantastically equipped with lights, backdrops and even pegs and hair bands for my too big clothing!

Really hope to shoot at the embankment studios again, it’s always a pleasure.

Great to be back shooting at the embankment and Nick is making some great improvements. Nick is a very helpful and friendly guy that makes you feel welcome. I would recommend the embankment to anyone who is looking for a great place to shoot. Thanks nick see you soon 😄

Another great shoot at the Embankment Studio with the lovely Jodie and thanks to Nick it went better than I imagined. Nick was a great help enabling me to experiment with gels which worked amazingly. Thoroughly recommend Nick and his studio, cheers Nick

Worked at this studio a couple of times now since the refurb, one a group shoot for a Peaky Blinders inspired shoot and also one to one with Hugh Davis and another time with D Rowley Photography. Every time Nick has been a great host, there if needed but also happy to stay out of the way. A great studio as it has the use of inside with a decent amount of space for a small studio as well as outside on the boat yard as well as in the woods so there’s plenty of variety if the weather holds out!

I’m sure it won’t be long until I’m back again and would be great to work with Nick sometime on a shoot as well.

Just completed my first shoot at Embankment after its refurbishment and change of owner. Nick is a great host, very welcoming and always on hand if any help is required. The studio has undergone a transformation since my last visit and it was great to shoot there once again. Very much plan to visit again in the near future, the studio has great facilities and location...highly recommended....

Shot at Embankment for the first time since the change of name and ownership, and Nick has done great things with the place. I had anticipated shooting mainly in the grounds but the weather had other ideas so ended up using the newly redecorated and slightly expanded studio space. Nick was incredibly helpful and I’ll definitely be using Embankment again :)

I had my third shoot at the studio. Nick was a great host as always and the facilities were just what was needed for the model I was shooting with, as this was her first shoot. The studio is well appointed and the location is great, with lots of space, backgrounds and privacy. Will be returning soon I am sure.

Excellent location with plenty of space and a wide variety of eclectic backgrounds - secluded & private so great for shooting nudes.

Nick was very welcoming and kept us topped-up with tea.

I would happily recommend Embankment to photographers looking shoot undisturbed outdoors.

Not the first time at the studio, but was the first time under it's new management.

Nick is certainly putting his own stamp on the place and is the consumate host...there if needed (handy with a brolly) and in background if not.

This was a great location and studio combo before and things have only improved. The studio is larger and still well equiped and of course the boat are and woods are perfect for photographing nudes. So many little corners, with background textures and ever changing light. Nick is also a great host and i will be using this space more regularly in the future. Highly recommended.

I worked at Embankment studio on a recent tour to the Kent area - I had known about the same venue on past working visits to the area, though regrettably never managed to get there until now! And it certainly ticked the boxes for all the good things that I’d heard! :D

I was booked to work at the studio for half a day on a day that blessed myself and the photographer with wonderful weather - thus allowing us to get out and about on a creative exploration utilising all the cool stuff and outdoor location features that Embankment offers (as well as it’s fully equipped indoor setup!) We had specific ideas lined up for what we wanted to achieve and for the large amount of the time: just went off and did our own thing... But the studio host (Nick) was on hand at any single moment if we needed anything at all and was a true star at lending a helping hand if needed - such as setting lights up or keeping the brews continuously topped up! :P So upon first impressions of the place: any model or photographer would be instantly inspired by the sheer range of opportunities this place has to offer for your shoot/production... But then you’ve also got the professional assistance to hand only a shout away should you need anything specific setting up. It’s such a cool place in itself but lovely staff really make a shooting venue an awesome place to come and do a day in “the office!” :D So I would just like to put forward a great bundle of thanks to Nick for being an awesome host for us and making my first visit to this cracking venue a very positive one indeed. :)

Once you get flowing through your poses/ideas as per the typical model-photographer rapport... You really can’t help yourself at Embankment where your head just needs to turn inches in either direction and there’s a funky backdrop/prop. :P From clambering on old boats or getting intertwined in gritty machinery, to arty yoga on the lawn... And even pretty portraits amid the flowers! There’s a little something for every possible photographic taste/style. You’d still be getting inspired and coming up with a whole list of ideas even towards the end of a shoot here! :D I certainly hope to return to Embankment at some point in the future when I find my crazy little self down in Kent again! I feel there is masses of unfinished business here!

From a models point of view, they’ve also taken into account a lot of essentials that makes our job a little more comfortable/easier. Things like the well-kitted private changing facilities, the ‘chill-out’ area for tea breaks and so forth. It’s great having the luxury of such a wicked range of outdoorsy stuff at your fingertips, but also whilst knowing there’s a nice and warm studio/changing area where you can safely keep all your stuff between sets.

Superb studio/location with a kind and courteous chap who runs the joint... Very highly recommended. :)

Another great shoot. Nick as ever was the perfectly attentive host; helping when asked and never interfering. I finally got to do the outside justice. Dry and bright plus a star model. Wonderful contrast of bucolic garden of England woods and post industrial junk yard. I will of course be back.

I shot at Embankment studio on my recent mini Kent tour and wow! What a fantastic outside location. Very secluded so perfect for art nude shots with bags of potential! Whilst the studio itself is quite small, it is still a good place to shoot portrait style shots if the weather is not on your side! Lots of different back drops to choose from too. I didn't shoot with Nick himself (boohoo :( ) but he was a lovely, friendly host with a great sense of humour, stepping in to help when needed and provided me with jaffa cakes and chocolate so I was sold!

Hopefully I get to work with Nick next time!

It was such a pleasure to return to work at this wonderful location. This was my first time here since it became Embankment Studio, and I was really impressed by the changes in the indoor studio and office area. We ended up shooting outside the entire day, which was wonderful. It is so rare to find an outdoor book-able location such as this - high recommended :)

I had the pleasure of working here for a recent Peaky Blinders shoot and it was great to be back after previously working here when it was Riverside Studios, so was nice to see all the changes and improvements and as ever Nick was a great host. Happy staying out of the way throughout the shoot itself but there to help if we needed him.

Thanks for allowing us to use the studio and hopefully won't be as long until I'm back again! :D

We set up a shoot based on Peaky Blinders TV Show and needed a lot of outside space we could carry guns safety. Embankment Studios was the perfect place.

The boat yard and woodlands gave us the perfect location for all we needed
