I met Halo for the first time this past weekend and she was so warm and welcoming!

We talked initially on Instagram and arranged a shoot months in advance - it was really nice to work with very fluid fashion/portrait/creative ideas rather than being too fixed on a concept and the way halo’s brain works is similar to mine in the way we just gave things a go if it felt right at the time!

I enjoyed her zoo of animals which she taught me all about, she was incredibly hospitable in her home studio and I learnt a lot from her as a photographer as well as a model.

Her support throughout the shoot was fantastic. Offering positioning advice positively and really allowing her vibrant personality to shine through and help me feel at ease.

She is such a creative talent. The way she uses a small space to produce the images she does is incredible and it’s very deceptive! Her technical knowledge is great and she knows exactly what colours to match to backgrounds/gels and wardrobe advice too.

I honestly had a blast and I can’t wait for the role reversal soon hopefully 😊

Halo is insanely talented. I'm always excited to work with them because I know for certain I'm going to be in love with all their photos. And there really doesn't seem to be a theme that they're not able to pull off. Whenever I have an idea, they have the perfect location/back drop in mind and even have clothes to offer when I can't find the right outfit.

Not only is their photography stellar, they're such a lovely person too. I feel so comfortable and well looked after on our shoots. And I always seem to learn something new from our conversations.

Crossroads Studio

Halo attended an event at Crossroads Studio that had been designed by Marie Jean Saxton.

Halo is a bundle of energy. Not only was she photographing she was on had to help with outfit changes (not simple as they were all latex) and to help out any other way necessary.

She is a delight to have around, very easy to get along with, chatty and great fun.

All that and the fact that she is a very talented photographer makes her someone that all models should be looking to work with.

I really hope that she will be back. Hint Hint.

Our first together was everything shoot dreams are made of. SUCH a creative professional with a pure beautiful soul. We instantly clicked and created so many fantastic shots together. Hard working, inventive, passionate, patient - I cannot speak higher of you.

I honestly can't put into words how incredible Halo is!

Firstly, the only reason I got into modelling to begin with, was all thanks to Halo. She goes out of her way in every single way possible!

From the moment I'd met her, I felt at ease almost as if I were talking to someone I'd known for years!

For each shoot, Halo has planned each set extensively, including concepts, clothes, props and her incredible home studio.

Her creativity genuinely knows no boundaries! I also feel completely safe and relaxed, which allows us to get some great images!

Always so friendly and welcoming and have a great time working with them. Pre and post communication is easy and quick.

Professional throughout and gives great tips and guidance for poses or anything that comes up during the shoot. When I brought a nervous friend for their first time in the tank Halo was really patient and encouraging and myself and my friend both had an amazing time.

The quality of the finished photos is always fantastic and easy to discuss any additional photos or changes.

Highly recommended and always look forward to working together again in the future!

I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot with Halo. She was fun to get on with, also fun to work with. The weather hasn't been the best so we had to reschedule a few times but the weather stayed on our side this time. She knew some really good spots in Nottingham as I love an outdoor shoot.

We managed to successfully shoot location and inside her house, with wonderful results. Halo changed some of her interior decor to match a corset set which contributed so much to the photos!

I met sahala many years ago but this was our first time of working together one on one.

She is so friendly doesn't mind getting into precarious places to take the perfect shot, she was even laying on a wet floor at one point.

I could freely pose but she also added in direction to help perfect her shot.

She worked really fast to allow us to get the maximum time and a variety of outfits worn.

She also jumped in and modelled when we where one short and watching her pose was inspiring.

I know I will be working with her again, one to one and in a group as soon as I possibly can! :-)

What can I say about Halo that hasn't already been said? A wonderful director, photographer, encourager and friend, shoots with Halo are the ones I look forward to the most.

She is professional but still friendly and engaging, and her open communication always improves a shoot for the best images.

Most recently, we worked together on an underwater shoot at TankSpace which was scary and fun and unnerving and a bit bonkers really! But Halo managed the day so well, which was no small feat as there was about 12 of us! I cannot recommend Halo enough, whether or not you're an experienced model or just starting out, you will not regret hiring her for your project.

Just when I think Halo can't make me look better, she always manages to outdo herself. I was suffering from a bit of creative block at our latest shoot and she was incredibly helpful with not only brainstorming, but also kindly hauling over a bag of stuff for my styling options. I'm so happy with the concepts we got and can't wait to work with her again.
