Styles:

I am interested predominantly in fashion, portrait, underwater, conceptual, haute-couture, avant-garde, lingerie/boudoir, fashion fetish, vintage and artistic nude. 


Payment: 
I am taking on extremely limited collaborations now. Feel free to ask but do not be offended if I must decline! 


COVID:
I am double jabbed and testing weekly. Happy to shoot on location or in studio in small groups. Currently only shooting outdoors events or larger gatherings. 

Behind the lens:
 My name is Sahala Smith, mostly known as Halo because it's far easier to pronounce! I am a genderqueer photographer with a passion for capturing the distinct beauty of different people and creating scenes across a variety of genres. 

Location:
 I have a modest home studio set up for those who can get to the mythical village of Selston, Nottingham and am happy to provide plentiful cups of tea and snacks for models. Otherwise I shoot on location in Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire mostly. 

I am happy to shoot further afield but am currently limited to public transport which must be covered as part of my overall costs. Currently my travel is limited to within the UK and adequate notice must be given. 

 

A few extra things:  
- I am happy for chaperones to be present on location and home shoots. I want models to feel safe! 
- I am no longer offering contact sheets for collaborations due to time constraints.
- I run a female identifying and non binary creatives group supporting and celebrating - check out @Lensmaidens on IG to see! 
- I am NOT a digital artist, this is something that has been expected in the past despite me not showing any evidence of it so I'm putting it down in black and white. You will only get bad digital art from me! I know great digital artists I'd be happy to re-direct you to but I'm a photographer and retoucher!
