Well the weather was totally against us, but we didn't let that stop us from having a super productive shoot!

So we stayed indoors at Don's home studio, and he pulled out a load of home made lenses, a never used backdrop, he created a very cool backdrop too, and I must say Don has exquisite taste in Jewellery which he had a huge box of so we also broke out the bling.

The day was spent experimenting with lighting, his beautifully unique lenses which created some insane effects, working with candle light, portraits, big ball gowns, a wall of tiny lights, and antique mirrors.

So many beautiful looks, entirely changed by just one lens or light, can't get over how talented Don is for making everything himself, it's quite a lost art so I'm ecstatic I get to watch the magic happen! :)

I'm sure it won't be long until the next shoot, got my fingers crossed for the weather so we can really get creative!

Had a very cool and experimental shoot with Don last Wednesday.

Arranged in an hour only the night before, Don picked me up and dropped me off with time to spare.

We spent the whole day in the woods using several make shift lenses, one from the 1800's! :D

We worked through fashion, fashion nude, art nude, and portraits, we got so many beautiful shots, really different and unusual looks as well, so impressed!

I'm even more impressed Don got through the whole day without any complaints despite having a nasty chest infection, he seriously soldiered on and we had an excellent day.

We've got some more groovy ideas for our next shoot in a few weeks, looking forward to breaking out the big ball gowns :)

I had a fabulous shoot with Mr Nardo at his home studio.

We were working on creating something dramatic and unusual. So hours of twiddling with lights, projectors and Alu-min-ium/ a-lu-min-num/ tin foil. We got some really great results.

We had enough ideas to fill many more hours; so we will have to work on them in the future.

Highly recommended.

One of the best shoots I have ever done. Don has such an amazing and creative mind and his ideas were truly incredible. This shoot was on location and he drove me there and what a beautiful and spooky location it was. Preshoot communications were excellent. I had such a great time on this shoot was so comfortable and even had a laugh fighting with the wind for the smoke bombs smoke direction, the images are absolutely stunning! I can't recommend highly enough. Definitely hope to shoot with in the future :D

Don's friendly and caring personality made me so relaxed and enjoy the session in a hotel room. I hope I was not too relaxed.. He brought his lighting equipment for the poetic images, and took great care of each shot. I definitely want to work with Don again.

Had another fantastic shoot with Nardo - great pre comms and totally understanding of issues that came up👍 Super chilled atmosphere and always time to crack and joke and listen to good music!

Don also knows exactly the style of shots he'd like to get from the shoot so everything runs smoothly and there is no time wasting. Would definitely recommend!

He's also made me more comfortable shooting my natural look!

Had yet another great adventure with Don the other day!

Gotta say we were pretty lucky with the weather staying on our side for our shoot in the bluebells, unfortunately Don and found a beautifully secluded woodland for us to shoot in so I didn't get to wave at any farmers or dog walkers, well there's always next time!

The woodland was perfect, fabulous light, a huge carpet of bluebells that went on for miles, nice blooming trees, with a naked ginger bird bouncing around it whilst Don tried to take shots :P

Don used several different lenses in our time out there as well as cameras, giving us a selection of different results which was fun. With the weather changing its mind we decided not to push our luck and once we had enough shots we headed back over to his for some cool fashion shots with soft boxes and then pure ambient light with candles which looked really cool and eerie :)

As always a fantastic day out and in, and super looking forward to our next shoot with big dresses as well!

I had a wonderful shoot with Nardo, he's a lovely and easy going guy.

He'll take very good care of any model and made me feel comfortable straight away! I would highly recommend shooting with him, hes full of great ideas and is incredibly artistic. Hopefully I can shoot with him again in the future!

Yesterday I had my second shoot with Nardo. Again, was a great enjoyable experience.

The job we've been doing was really creative and something I never tried before: shooting with loads of empty water bottles around me (this is also Nardo's unique style).

The effect was amazing:geometrical shapes mixed with the elegance of a nude female body. I absolutely loved the pictures.

Nardo is one of the best photographer I met. Not only a really professional person and an artist, but also a really friendly guy and is always a pleasure working with him.

If you're looking to improve your portfolio well, you couldn't choose a better photographer. Doesn't need to add words, looking at his photos would be enough to understand how good he is and how much he cares about quality.

Highly recommended and I hope to work with him again and again.

Don has an interesting long running project that you can see on his portfolio: Bottles.

Don invited me down to his village for the day and we spent the time setting up 1000 glass bottles in various patterns (Okay, he done the patterns, i just watched and ate food)

Modelling in a cramped space near glass bottles is actually quite a task. And setting up bottles in a creative way is a task in itself too! It made me realise how much effort is actually put into every single photoshoot Don does.

We had a great day. Don is a great person and shoots very well, helping me when i got stuck with poses but also happy to let me do my own thing. He knows what he wants, but happy for it to go wrong and do something different too.

Definately recommend. Hope to see you again!

I had the pleasure of doing a 4 hour shoot with Don, it was very professional whilst being laid back. We did a bit on location and also worked in his home studio, lovely guy all around and great music taste. Would highly recommend him!

I really enjoyed my first shoot with Don; a friendly, easy going character with plenty to say for himself which for a fellow talker is always appreciated.

The shoot itself was very interesting; a great opportunity to get creative, a relaxed, comfortable environment in which to shoot and a good collaborative feel to the process throughout.

I had the crazy pleasure of shooting with Don last week at a studio down the road from him. Wow what a day!

SO! What did I shoot with the lovely and mad one that is Don you ask? WELL I spent the day eating all his wonderful treats and drinking coffee, giggling, exchanging stories and catching up, setting up bottles to knock them down whilst swimming through glass (safely I hasten to add!) naked to finish off the day! So yeah a nice normal day really :P

All jokes aside Don is truly awesome to work with, he has a great personality, so accommodating by making sure I was warm and comfortable, he has a great imagination and when he has an idea for a shot wow he goes all out it's insane, and the images are brilliant.

Another great shoot down, can't wait to see how we top this one!

Had an amazing shoot with Nardo! This shoot was very challenging for me as it was different to what I'd usually do but Nardo talked me through everything beforehand and shown me some examples. The shoot was very laid back and we got some amazing shots! I can't wait to work with him again. Highly recommend!

I had a shoot with Nardo just today. What can I say, I really enjoyed a lot he was really friendly and professional and especially he really knows how to take great pictures! Had a really great first shoot with Don. Pre shoot comms were really great, he knew exactly what he wanted to achieve. When I arrived for the shoot I was nervous but as soon as I met him my nerves instantly went away. He had some amazing creative ideas and was really great to do something unusual and different. You can see his passion for photography and it was really lovely to work with him. He was professional, friendly and a gentleman throughout. I would highly recommend.
