I have been working with Don 4 times now, the last time only yesterday, for a funky colourful shoot! Don said he didn't have any ideas before the shoot..but then he came out with some wonderful creativity and the photos we obtained are definately different from what I was used to see!

I love working with him, one of the best photographer I have been working with, always really respectful and professional! His american accent is a pleasure to hear as well!

I had my 4th ? ( i kind of lost the count ha) shoot with Don in a studio working on his really creative bottles project and as always it was a great fun!

I am always happy to work with Don as working with him always means being innovative and super creative that I love. It also means we both have a freedom and can experiment with different lights, angles and poses.

Don was a real pleasure to work with as before:) When I arrived, first thing I noticed was plenty of food on the table ready to be consumed ha! It was really kind of Don and it proves he always looks after his models well.

We had a lovely chat to catch up on things and got to shoot after a while.

We created such amazing shapes and patterns with bottles, it was really enjoyable ! Don was so relaxed throughout our shoot, totally easy going and chatty. We had so much laugh and jokes that time literally flew by.

Don is also very professional at what he does, really dedicated and well prepared and yes, it definitely pay off!

I would love to recommend Don to every model and I am really looking forward to working with him again. Thank you ! :)

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Don for the second time recently ! (I say recently, but my reference is a bit late, huge apologies)

I shot with Don about a year ago so I knew that he was going to be lovely as he was the first shoot!

Pre comms were fabulous and the shoot was organised quickly and efficiently. I was very excited for this shoot as it was such a great idea. Don had clearly put so much effort and thought into this shoot! It had clearly been a long term project! In fact, I don't think I've ever had a shoot that has had so much effort put into it!

The idea was so original and creative and the results I had seen were amazing so I was excited to be a part of it! What I loved about this shoot was juts how creative I was able to be! I was really able to experiment with my posing ! What I also loved was the relationship that had developed between myself and Don! He is a very down to earth guy and I found him very easy to get on with! What I loved was his honesty - if I did a pose that didn't look that great, he said (in a polite way of course) But he was always right, and it was great to have a shoot wherein the photographer and model were on the same wavelength and where I felt I could really experiment with poses!

I laughed and smiled lots durning the shoot and it was so wonderful to work with someone so passionate about what they were doing.

Everything was ready for me when I arrived, the studio was warm. Lights were done and Don has a great knowledge of the technical side, so the lighting side of it was done quickly and efficiently and glass is super hard to light - it was obvious he had really worked hard to set everything up!

The back of the camera shots looked fab and I'm excited to see the final results.

Don was respectful throughout, professional and always considerate, making sure I was happy throughout. A great guy and a fab tog - a really great shoot and I'd love to shoot again!

I would happily recommend him!

This was my first shoot with Don and the aim of the shoot was to work with bottles and pose artistic nude. This was a very interesting project to work on and seeing how it all came together in the images was amazing especially when using lighting and shadows against the curves of the body against the bottles. Don was a real pleasure to work with, his models being comfortable and happy shooting with him are his number one priority. Don had snacks and drinks available and discussed and showed art work to show you his ideas and poses prior to the shoot. I really enjoyed this experience Don thank you for asking me to be a model for your project. I Highly recommend any model to work Don and hope one day to have the pleasure of working with you again.

Well I had an absolutely wonderful shoot with Don, apologies for the delay in leaving this reference! Comms with Don were perfect, the shoot was easy to arrange and he was even accommodating with the trains offering to collect me even though it was really early!....

I go along so well with Don even before we started shooting, it was like catching up with an old friend... We had lots of chat and giggles and he was really warm and friendly.

I was so looking forward to shooting with Don because his work is so different and creative and I was absolutely not let down by this, the ideas and concepts he has are brilliant. Technically he knows what hes doing and has perfected his technique for what he is shooting. The whole shoot was relaxed and we both worked together making different suggestions to make every image the best it could be!...

The images where absolutely awesome, fabulous composition and lighting.

Would absolutely recommend Don to other models, hes very relaxed, polite, friendly and makes sure you are well looked after during the shoot!...

Thanks again Don and I would love to work with you again in the future!

Had an incredibly challenging last shoot with Don, spending the first half of the day shooting with the lovely Fergie on some duos and later on duoing with Elle J :)

It’s been wicked getting to see how creative Don has been on his bottle project by pushing the limits and coming up with something different each time, drawing up plans for the bottles, thinking of geometric shapes for the models to try, and once we get that perfect shot he’s ready to move on and try and beat it! :)

Both models were awesome to work with and there were so many laughs on the day, which just makes the day disappear.

I must say I’m bloody excited for spring time just so I can get Don back out on location again and we can get cracking on to some more weird and wonderful projects :D

P.S the food was freaking awesome, you certainly know how to keep a model happy :P

I had a Brilliant time today at “The Studio” with Nardo!

Don had arranged for a duo shoot with Myself and Scarlett Fox for his own creative bottle project and the set up was quite impressive!!! Don is very creative, Friendly posseses a great sense of humour and is very professional at what he does, we all had lots of laughs and created some amazing pics on the back of the camera..

I would recommend any model to work with Don, pre coms were excellent, the shoot was relaxed and he always ensured that both me and Scarlett were comfortable not too cold etc we had plenty of brews and breaks, lots of snacks and his lovely partner also turned up with pizza 😜🤗

Would definitely love to work with Nardo again!

This is my second shoot with Don for his bottles project and I was super excited to be asked back to work on it again. I was even more excited to be asked to work with the stunning Scarlett Fox. Don is friendly, chatty and I love how creative he is. He is so patient and his ideas really blow me away. His pre comms were great and detailed. He provides plenty of snacks, drinks and makes sure his models are comfortable at all times. The images off the back of the camera looked incredible and I can’t wait to see them. I would highly recommend working with him and I hope I get the chance to work with him again soon. Thanks Don!

I was looking forward to meet Don again, for our third shoot together the last sunday. We already worked together for the bottles project and I was really happy when he chose me again as a model, as I think his idea is genial and no one else did the same before! Such a creative mind he has!

We've been shooting 4 hours, and we could get few very good shots, Im looking forward to see the results!

Nardo is the most respectful, funny and professional guy..I love working with him!

I had a fantastic second shoot with Don. After a location nude shoot previously, it was great to then get to work with him on his now well known coke bottle series, after I had admired the shots for a while.

Fantastic communications prior to the shoot made organisation simple and easy. I was Don's final shoot of an absolutely mammoth weekend for him, so I couldn't believe he still had the strength to continue setting up creative and interesting shapes for me to work in.

Time flew and we created what looked to be some great shots. Don was respectful throughout, explaining the poses and making sure I was comfortable. It was a pleasure to work with him again and hope to maybe do so again in the future.

Slightly amazed by Don's creative ideas that met me as I walked into the lovely studio in Harrogate.

First of all his Communications were brilliant and I knew exactly what to bring along which ended up to be hardly anything due to the fantastic ideas that Don had planned.

This shoot was all about creating artistic nude Styles and shapes with the body and Don was the perfect Gentleman throughout the entire shoot.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with him and I hope that I did Justice to his fantastic and creative ideas. The results will no doubt be amazing as was the shoot itself. I enjoyed myself from start to finish and I cannot recommend Don enough and I certainly hope that I will get the chance to work with him again.

I worked with Don earlier this year, but after taking a break from PP I'm actually only just getting round to writing a reference (my apologies).

I had a really enjoyable shoot with both Don & model Scarlett Fox :)

As a photographer he is extremely creative, highly professional, easy going & great fun to shoot with :) He even ordered takeaway pizza for Scarlett's birthday - amazing!!

I'm really looking forward to working with Don again soon!

This poor, poor man had me for 8 whole hours last Saturday, and two other models within the day, not to mention he had another 12 hour shoot the next morning, how he has survived I will never know!

But what an awesome shoot!

Kicked off the day with duo work with EllarnaP, who was amazing, Don made sure the studio stayed toasty throughout the day as well giving plenty of breaks to warm up anyway and grab a snack. He also had a complete buffet set out, an assortment of teas, coffee, chocolates, and healthy snacks too.

I’m always floored by Don’s impressive imagination and his DIY skills when it comes to his images, he knows what he wants and he will without a doubt find a way to get it done. And I’m always impressed with his dedication to his craft, it’s no easy task when shooting his 1200 bottle sets, it has a lot of setting up and planning ahead of the shoot let alone on the day.

Once we were half way through and ready to shoot the solo sets, we stopped for lunch and Don was brilliant in getting me a veggie pizza (my favourite food ever!). Then we were off trying to figure out how to beat the last set and I think we certainly did ourselves proud with some of the weird and wonderful sets :)

So when people ask me what I got up to on my birthday I have to say rolling on the floor trying not to knock bottles over whilst being cheeky about Don’s OCD tendencies :P

And we’ve got round two in another week *evil laugh* mwah ha ha haaaa!

What an awesome night out working with Don!

We spent the evening walking around Knaresborough town centre shooting in quaint little alleys, scenic Christmas trees, and beautifully decorated shop windows.

Shooting in low light can always be challenging let alone when you have people walking by, mixing flash with leds, lens changes, and yet nothing phased Don which takes me back to our first shoot on location with Don sweating saying “what if a farmer sees?!” Granted we were shooting nude then but still I think it’s funny, and so great how much things have changed :P oh and we weren’t the weirdos for once either, a dude stopped to tell us his life story all 8 decades of it as well!

Absolutely loving our wintery street fashion shots with extreme bokeh :D

Once finished we got back for a quick portrait session at Don’s, and we got some very moody vogue looks!

So again another awesome and successful day out if I do say so myself and I can’t wait for us to take it up yet another notch in a January for some duo looks!

And Don as done it again! Yet again he has brought something new, challenging, and a little weird to the table for us to shoot :)

We started off with something easy (ish) shooting gorgeous high key monochrome geometric nudes, some very groovy posing was required, I always have 100% trust in Don for when I try out new poses for anything that could look a little risqué as I know he will only shoot pure art, I couldn’t help but laugh at him directing me so that my arms and legs were symmetrical :P

For the second half of our shoot we had a play with light painting, which although experimental and as Don had said isn’t an exact science we really did hit the nail on the head and got some very cool shots, they really remind me of the 60’s or 70’s for art deco!

I must also note it was great to work inside with the heating on, some hot coffee, and wicked music (Don I’m driving the mister mad with Spector, which has been on repeat every day since lol!)

So excited for our shoot in January now :D

I enjoyed the relaxed and friendly session with Don in a hotel room as before, with good lighting equipment and his artistic senses. Looking forward to the next session with Don!

Whoa freaking awesome shoot with dear ole Don again, this time we said sod it we’re bloody heading out on location! Only a little bit cold but Don gave me time between shots and moving around to make sure I kept warm at all times, and I’m so glad we took the chance as the light was just perfect and Don had found a great little woodland for us to work from. And we shot with my silver dress which I don’t bring out much but bloody hell did it work, and we also got to shoot a little fashion nude at the end of the light.

Once we had gotten the shots and the light had faded we headed back over to Don’s for one of his weird and wonderful ideas of shooting in a (hot!) bath with lots of leaves (no sticks though, so that was disappointing haha). Such an epic idea, I can honestly say I’ve never been asked to wriggle around in a toasty bath whilst having leaves thrown over me, and then sit there arranging the leaves on the walls with some great punk music going on in the background for atmosphere!

Already seeing so many great shots coming out, gotta say I’m very interested in seeing what Don wants to shoot next, I KNOW its going to be crazy and as always fun!

Thanks for a very unusual day, my favourite part was that you washed the leaves ahead of time!

This dude, this dude right here is a mad man. We pick a date filled with train strikes, a location filled with tyres to climb on, the gels came out, and a wall of tinfoil. Yep we like a challenge and better we like to do something bloody different! :)

Despite the weather being truly and totally against us this year, we said bugger to it let's go big, Don arranged this excellent location of a massive tyre pile and yes it was cold and my stupid hands kept going strange colours, but Don was his usual self putting the model first with regular breaks to make sure I warmed up, grabbing me s pair of gloves between shots, which I can't say how much I appreciated! And I got to talk to some cows whilst warming up

Then back over to Don's once we had gotten the shots, we warmed up and got cracking with the gels and portraits!

Such a great shoot and as always looking forward to the next time!

Well despite the weather putting a spanner in to the works yet again and making us work indoors, we did get to have an experiment with some unusual and unused backdrops of Don's.

So we kick started the day with shooting some Edwardian styled lighting for a good vintage look, and then moved on to a really beautiful and super cool Indian backdrop which shot incredibly well especially with Don's awesome home made lenses it really did look so good it looked like it had been added in post production!

We finished off the day shooting with basically a huge roll of material that can only be described as a huge potato bag, okay that sounds odd (and I guess it is lol) but the shots we got with it are insanely different and amazing, the silhouettes are just so alien I loved it, the texture was wicked.

Also especially for me Don put on some new punk albums on for during the shoot, I wish I could say my professionalism shone through and I didn't ruin any shots by laughing but when you hear "I couldn't believe the size of her bum, She used to play for Wigan at the back of the scrum!" This was probably the nicest thing I heard and less rude than the rest we were laughing at, gave the camera some good motion blur though! :P

I bloody can't wait for the next shoot especially if I get to listen to more punk, I was highly entertained. :)

So of course besides Don's excellent artistic music taste we also got some good shots once we could both be serious for a minute!

I worked with Don couple of times now and I need to say its a pure pleasure to shoot with him ! :)

My third shoot with Don was based on his really creative idea with me posing with plenty of bottles ! I knew this would work as it was just something different than anybody else was doing and it just looked amazing. Don was so passionate about his project and he put so much time and effort into it . It's really nice to see someone with such passion and determination...

Working with Don as I said was really enjoyable. We tried a few different ideas and I felt so creative :). Don is incredibly easy going person, with a great sense of humour, really chatty and with a good taste in music which is really important :)! Working with him is always fun, we always have so much laugh and many stories to tell!

I am definitely looking forward to working with him again and I would like to recommend Don to every model ! Thank you !! :)
