I once again had the pleasure to work with David, this time on a remote shoot assisted by J Black Photographic, during our Norfolk Tour. David's pre shoot communications are excellent, he again gave me a good idea of what he wanted to shoot ahead of time and I was able to relay this to John so he could plan the framing and lighting options in advance to make the shoot run more smoothly.

It is always a joy to work with David, even if it is only remotely! He's a fantastic person to work with, a gentleman through and through and very kind as well. He has such a friendly personality which just puts you at ease straight away!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and will happily work with him again in the future!

Dave is such a genuine pleasure to work with, albeit remotely. He'd responded to a message regarding a duo remote shoot and was keen from the get go. He arrived on time to our Zoom meeting and was raring to go from the start. His pre shoot communications were excellent, well thought out and properly planned, also sending us ideas throughout the shoot which was great!

Throughout the shoot he was polite and professional and very easy to talk to. He too my ideas on board with ease (trusting me as I was in the room and he wasn't), and was happy to go with what I suggested.

I loved our shoot, and I look forward to working with him again next month!

An utter pleasure it was hosting a remote shoot for David at my home! 😀 We spoke a fair bit before the shoot about what he wanted to achieve and decided that: for the artistic nude and bodyscape ideas we particularly wanted to nail, my home environment was the best location with the natural light and other facilities. We had quite a hit list of ideas to get through, from: conventional arty poses, body jewellery on bodyscapes and wet look/oil and water too! So it was a well organised photo shoot, and goes to show I think how a model and photographer can totally chat in pre-shoot communications to develop a great plan - even when they are not going to be in the same room as one another on the day. 😃 David was a star at communicating his ideas, I have to give him top credit for this as it enabled me to be fully prepped at my end and ready for the sets we were to attempt. This positive experience also continued throughout the shoot itself and thereafter... A genuinely nice person and enthusiastic photographer who I can certainly vouch for based on my remote shooting experience.

On to the shoot: we started the shoot with some standard sitting/kneeling art nude shots against a dark background to get us kicked off. David took to my remote system very easily and was able to manage the controls effortlessly, which was great for me because I could then focus on getting myself in and out of poses and changing the lights up knowing David was otherwise confident and happy with the working system. 😊 He gave nice feedback as the shoot went on - suggested things and utilised the ability for you to talk and bounce ideas and for the photographer to direct as per their vision. The shots were coming out really lovely with us changing them up by accessorising with bling and/or swapping the lights around... It's amazing just how dynamic you can be, even just focusing closely on one particular style or genre. Working with the bodyscape genre; we were really able to bring out the abstract qualities that one can achieve, it still amazes me that a photographer can capture such images whilst being in a completely different town/place! The oil and water ones even more astonishing - the creative use with depth of field and angles... Pin sharp points and even an emotive feel with mixing the poses up and adding the jewels/playing with the accessories. I really thought the images spoke. A lot! So many were winning shots, it was hard to kind of isolate a favourite set!

David was a gentleman to deal with, and very courteous towards me. He was honest and concise about the styles he wanted to shoot, maintained good professionalism into the shoot and showed superb manners and respect at all times. Just because it's a remote shoot, it doesn't mean that you don't get the chance to generate a rapport... Actually you almost over compensate to make sure you are on the same wavelength, and I felt that David and I struck a very prolific rapport that meant we worked very well together in a model-photographer team flow. We also chatted and conversed with an upbeat atmosphere - I am yet to shoot with David in person but I feel from my first time working with/meeting him virtually that in-person he would be a delight to shoot with too. His approach through to his demeanour and the way he treats models comes across very well, and even though we only shot "virtually" so to speak, I think it still allows you to get a vibe off who you are working with. And that vibe for this shoot was all the positives. 👍

David then so kindly sent me a big selection of edited shots after the shoot was done and dusted - they looked amazing! That was certainly a job well done methinks! 🤩

I worked with Dave just before Christmas and was one of my last ones to close 2021 - we worked really well together and he gave great direction when shooting. I had a clear brief that I could use to bring multiple ideas to the shoot and get the most out of it.
