Alan is a really lovely man, chatty, easy going, down to earth and very intelligent...Alan has produced a really beautiful book of models!

If your lucky enough to shoot with Alan...definitely do it!

Had my first shoot with the Wonderful Alan..A gentleman who is amazing to work with..I fell im love with his purpleport images ,was longing to work with him and finally got a chance to when he came to London.A gem of a person with so much of kindness,professionalism ,attitude and ofcourse the talent in photography..He gave me the complete freedom to choose my styles and so polite.He is such cool and kept clicking according to my choices and if my pose /image comes out well he kept saying 'Thank You' ..very motivational indeed.Well he is a retired profeessor and so it's obvious but its rare to find this great combinations in oneself.He shot high resolution pictures and im so amazed and enjoying viewing them.I highly recommend Alan to all models.. and i really look forward to working with him again!

I had a lovely shoot with alan, pre comms where great he sent me a moodboard so i knew exactly what i was doing. He showed up fully prepared, on time for the shoot and was very professional but also great conversation. we spent alot of time during the shoot chatting and the time flew by so i would happily recommend the Dr to anyone :).

I had such a wonderful shoot with Alan at Yorkshire Studios, he is very friendly, kind, respectful and I felt totally at ease shooting with him.

He came prepared with a mood board of ideas to give us some inspiration and that gave us a great kickstart. We shot a wide variety of different sets/styles and the images we created are really beautiful.

I thoroughly enjoyed our shoot together and can whole-heartedly recommend Alan to other photographers. I would 100% work with him again and hope to do so in the future.

Alan got in touch last week and we booked in a last minute shoot at my home for Monday just gone. It was a super shoot from start to finish :)

His communications were brilliant, he was very clear in what he wanted to shoot and how he wanted my makeup/hair. He then arrived with a book of his previous work for me to look through and get an idea of his preferences :)

We worked our way though a few different sets and from what I saw on the back of the camera we got some really nice images together. Alan was a complete gentleman from start to finish, he really cares about making sure his model is comfortable and enjoying the shoot. He's extremely easy to talk to and we had some great conversations, it was genuinely a pleasure being in his company :)

Would happily recommend and hope to work with him again in the future :D

This was my first shoot with Alan, it was a three hour shoot which seemed to fly by. Alan is a true gentleman, he was very chatty with a lot of interesting stories about places he has visited.

There was great communication before, during and after the shoot. really pleased at the end result of the images and hope to work with him again in the near future

It was my first and hopefully not last time to meet Alan today.

He arrived punctual and well prepared.

Alan is the most intelligent,educated and interesting person i have ever met. He is such a gentlemen with warm personally. He is chatty but definitely not boring guy.

I liked the fact that he treated me with respect and make me feel relaxed and confident and let me pose in my way.

I really can't wait to see ours images. I wish to work with you again.

I had my first shoot wth Alan which was an absolute pleasure. He came to my home studio in York. Pre communications were great, Alan told me lots about himself, yet was appreciative of me being very busy and not always having a chance to reply super quickly to messages.

He arrived on time and ready to shoot, having kindly changed the time to help me. It was clear from the beginning that Alan is a very real gentleman who is very respectful of all his models and is eager to make sure that the model is happy with the shoot in general as well as the images taken. He was lovely company, I really enjoyed the conversations we had, Alan himself has a very impressive and interesting resume which I enjoyed hearing about.

Alan discussed with me what sort of thing he was interested in shooting, as well as bringing a book of his work to the shoot so I had a good idea of what he liked to shoot! If only every photographer did this, as its always good to have an indication of what people like. I was very impressed with Alan work as he has not been shooting that long, which I was shocked to hear judging by his work, and vast amount of it.

The shoot itself was very relaxed, long of conversation, no preasure, we had a lovely coffee break in the middle, yet it was still very productive. Alan has already published some fab images from the shoot and it was only yesterdaY! very impressive!

Throughout the shoot Alan listened to any suggestions I had and took them on board and he is clearly very eager to learn, but what is so lovely is that Alan also values meeting and learning about new people which is a lovely attitude to take to a shoot.

I very much enjoyed the 4 hours and wold love to shoot with Alan again! I would recommend him without hesitation!

I met Alan for the time yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him as I found him to be very respectful and professional photographer the four hrs sailed by his photography skills are very good and he brought his own lighting I knew he really cared about creating some really beautiful images and from what I saw of the images the quality was great . I found Alan very chatty throughout and interesting and the time went past very quickly thankyou Alan very recommended by me xxxxx hope to work with you again soon xx

Wonderful first shoot with DrAC, he's a lovely man to work with and you can tell straight away he cares a lot about the work he does. Very easy to work with, he let's you know what he's looking for and then leaves posing and style up to you so you can bounce creative ideas off each other. A pleasure to work with him.

Shot with Alan at my friends home studio after ages talking about it :)

Alan is awesome to work with prior to shooting in the sense his communications are wonderful and he knows exactly what he wants and how to describe.

Once he arrived we started chatting and then shooting in the downstairs studio, we spent half the time here trying a few different outfits before moving upstairs to the bedroom set.

Alan showed me his book (amazing!) for inspiration and even had a few ideas that I would have never thought of.

He's so easy to shoot with and i would love to work with him again and the images look great!

I had my second shoot with Alan at my home, I thoroughly enjoyed my first shoot with Alan so was really looking forward to working with him again :) The shoot was easy to arrange and the communication was perfect and we discussed what we’d be covering in the shoot over a few emails.

As soon as Alan arrived we were laughing and chatting and this was the case throughout the whole shoot which really made the time fly by as it was lots of fun. Over the 4 hours of shooting we covered several different styles and outfit changes, Alan had his own ideas but was happy for me to pose away and input my ideas too, making for brilliant results as I am over the moon with the images too.

Alan is the most lovely, respectful and genuine person and I would very highly recommend him.

Alan is a highly intelligent person and also very friendly, it is totally understandable that he was a university professor. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him and learning from him about variety of topics throughout the shoot. He got a great sense of humour and his warm, gentle, considerate way of speech made me really comfortable which was helpful for posing and made the shoot relaxing. His behaviour is very professional.

He is one of the photographers and people I can trust from the bottom of my heart although I met him today for the first time. I have no hesitation to recommend him to any models. Highly highly recommended.

Shooting with Alan at my place, yesterday, was first and foremost a very special human experience. What a lovely person! We talked all the way throughout the shoot and shared our experiences and stories like old friends.

It felt natural to be in Alan's space, for he truly respects and appreciates other human beings and so, yes, we did shoot but this was another level of photography and I loved every second of it.

Highly recommend, WOW, I genuinely do not know where to start for the reference with Alan. Alan is such an interesting character. Alan has done alot of travelling and has alot of stories to tell. Alan is super lovely, easy going and so down to earth but also so multi talented.

His pre shoot communications were great.

Throughout the morning he gave me detailed directions to get to him, we worked through many sets of lingerie working through to art nude.

He was a lovely chatty man and I highly recommend him :)
