Doug contacted me to ask about a shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage. All pre comms with Doug were great - He sent me a mood board with lots of wonderful ideas to explore including a tendency towards fine art imagery.

On the day of the shoot Doug arrived on time with everything he needed. We had a cuppa and a chat and decided on some sets we wanted to shoot. We worked through many different ideas and Doug was happy for me to pose freely but also provided me with some direction as needed. The back of the camera looked great and Doug was happy to show me images throughout.

Doug is a great photographer and I would be happy to reccomend him. Thank you for coming to shoot with me!! See you soon!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Doug came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Miss C (Leanne). All pre comms with Doug were great and he arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot.

I had my first lovely shoot with Doug few days ago at Aura Studio. Doug got in touch with me with clear ideas of what he wanted try to achieve, pre communication was spot on.

On the day we followed moodboard ideas and played around those, working mainly with natural light. I enjoyed the creative process and we got beautiful results. Happy with the first edits and I can't wait to see more!

Doug is professional and talented photographer, friendly, kind and gentle. Enjoyed our chats and I felt comfortable all the time during the shoot.

I would love to create more with him and I recommend him 100%

Arranging the shoot was so easy and clear, which is something I respond very well to! No crossed wires and everyone knows where they stand!

You arrived on time and ready to shoot. After a quick chat and bouncing some ideas around we began shooting.

During the shoot you were friendly, chatty, funny, respectful and completely professional at all times.

After a long while of not shooting together due to lockdowns etc, Doug and I finally got another shoot booked in together and did what we truly do best… low light art nude! We shot at Image Red which was actually a first for me and was a great experience. Doug and I actually live in the same area and so he was kind enough to offer to drive us there, which also gave us opportunity to talk though mood boards and generally catch up. As alway, Doug sent me the final images through very promptly and I can’t wait to get adding them to my portfolio. Thanks Doug, here’s to the next one!

Doug hired the studio for a model shoot and also brought his charming assistant (Dave) along to learn the ropes and help out generally. Doug's references, credentials and fabulous portfolio all speak for themselves require no further explanation on my part! Suffice it to say, Doug is an absolute gentleman, in every regard, and it was a pleasure meeting him and having him in the studio.

Doug and I have been discussing a shoot for some time now, but lockdown restrictions prevented us from shooting..... until today!!

Pre comms were fab!! We knew exactly what we were aiming for before the shoot. Doug shared image examples and we communicated for what feels like months.

Wow! We really did create some fantastic image! Doug is a brilliant photographer. I was left smiling from ear to ear when we looked through the BOC. Some beautiful beautiful images

Doug is ace! Such a lovely guy and a real gentleman! We instantly got on which made the shoot a joy, and time just vanished before us.

Doug and I have shot quite a few times now, most recently at Big Shot Studio where we worked on low key art nude using my freestanding lollipop hoop! Doug's precomms are very thorough and he is exacting when setting up lighting to ensure the result he's after. I was really pleased with our images on the back of cam and would be happy to recommend him again for sure. Thanks Doug!

So Doug and I worked together for the first time and what a shoot we had! We worked at the Natural Light Spaces on the black infinity wall, focusing solely on artistic nude images to capture tone and also the reflection of light off the curves in the body. The final images have turned out great and I can’t wait to add them to my portfolio! I truly look forward to working with Doug again in the new year, roll on 2020!

Doug recently booked myself & Ayla for a duo shoot at Juice Studio, he travelled a long distance and stayed over the night before just to shoot with us which I was very grateful for.

This was my 2nd shoot with Doug, he is a lovely person, comes well prepared with ideas for posing & what he would like to achieve from the shoot. He is shooting for a specific panel in a competition at the moment so myself and Ayla were very keen to capture some special images for him.

The 3 of us worked tirelessly for the 3 hours, resting in-between for a tea & biscuit every now & then :)

I highly recommend Doug to other models and I look forward to the next one,

He showed up on time & prepared.

He had already made a mood board for me before the shoot so I knew exactly the kind of shots he was after.

He was after a dark moody theme & the final images look exactly like this.

We had a lovely chat whilst we shot, he was 100% professional & he was easy to work with.

I really like the finished images & he has told me he is going to send me some more which I cannot wait to see.

We are already in talks about another shoot together.

Had a wonderful first shoot with Doug and a fellow photographer yesterday at Image Red studios .. Dougs communications were great , also receiving a mood board so I knew the style of shoot to except . Doug was a great person to work with , carefully thinking through the sets and allowing plenty of breaks where needed .Doug also took it on board if there were any poses that I couldn't do and just simply moved on without a fuss... Overall a laid back but productive shoot that produced many beautiful images . Wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with the lovley person that is Doug. Thank you for a great shoot . Jess x

PoZers had the pleasure of hosting a shoot, with Doug and his friend, and our phenomenal in-house model; Helen Diaz. Doug's pre-shoot communication was detailed and precise, ensuring we both knew what was required from our shoot with him, and the timescale we should work to. The shoot flew by, and we managed to tick off almost everything, on the brief, which was really great going, in the time we had. I worked with Doug on a half day shoot at Pozers Studio in Swindon recently and had such a lovely day! Doug had bought his friend Malcolm along with him and together they were a really nice partnership and complimented each other very well.

Before the shoot Doug had TONS of creative ideas which he shared with me and was extremely enthusiastic! He was extremely organised and precise in the photography he wished to achieve.

I am always a little nervous to work with people I haven't met prior but on the day of the shoot Doug and Malcolm were kind, respectful and professional to work with. By the end of the shoot we were laughing which is always a good sign of a great shoot!

Big Shot Studio

Doug and Malcolm attended our studio for a shoot with the model Celia Nen. I found them both to be professional in their approach to photography, they had a clear idea of what they wanted to shoot and have an obvious passion for the work they do.

Doug and Malcolm were both respectful of the model they were shooting and made sure she was comfortable at all times, they were respectful of the studio environment taking care with the equipment they used. I would be happy to recommend Doug and Malcolm to any model or studio. They are always welcome up here.

I had some troubles with trains when arriving, but he was very understanding about that.

He had many ideas for the shoot that he had explained to me beforehand, so I knew what to expect and what to bring.
