Diwali Celebrations - Portsmouth Harbour 16th Nov 2023.
The Hindu Festival of Lights, also celebrated by other Indian religions, symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance".
What a wonderful, uplifting sentiment to celebrate and live by.
This display only lasted 5 minutes and was more about colour than ear shattering explosions.
Truly wonderful to witness for its grace, elegance and beauty.
The people of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas were treated to a wonderful and tasteful display.
I can't thank Claire R (Photoshop Wizard) enough for her wonderful post production work with the colours and light.
