This is Brough Castle, on the edge of the village of Brough, on the A66 road.
Apparently the only castle to successfully repulse the Scots army as they came down to Derby to have a little chat!
Driving past this, I noticed the evening light was perfect, and after a walk around the ruins (Free access by the way so good for a shoot), the light got even better so I took this shot.
