Shining light on beauty

This photograph, taken very late in the day 4.18pm on the 14th December 2022, with light fading quickly, is a long exposure (20 seconds), using my Canon 5D mk3, Camera and Canon 24-105 'L' lens wide at 24mm. F16 and ISO100. I was the only person here, with icy fresh snowfall on the paths. It's got public viewing points, so positioning yourself safely is quite easy. Temperature was around minus 10, and the 'brass monkeys' were freezing.

However, the waterfall is free to visit, and is called Urriðafoss (about 2 hours drive out of Reykjavik) on Iceland's southern coastline , and just as i was about to take the photograph, the clouds parted and lit the rear hill and the centre of the waterfall up, accenting the falls, and the candyfloss effect of the long exposure on moving water. Other than removing dust spots, i have 'tinkered' very little with this photograph. (sharpening mostly).
