I shot with Dave at Zan studios last week. What a delight! He kindly picked me up from Baguely and drove us up to the studio. He's never short of stories to tell and was a bubbly character from beginning to end... Dave has great dancing skills in the studio as well as camera skills of course lol. Brilliant to get along with and great company. He really did look after me and I felt comfortable throughout. His lighting set up was spot on that even the unedited image he put straight up with I was super impressed with.

I really look forward to working with Dave again soon.

On Saturday it finally happened - Dave actually managed to shoot me! Yes I know he has received a reference off me previously, but I didn't realise how long ago that was and how much time flies.

I have actually known Dave for many years now, since 2007 and we have been shooting with one another since then. Although he is a fantastic photographer, he is actually more a friend than a colleague. But this reference refers to the fact that after several months, we actually managed to shoot together, and in my opinion and I'm sure he would agree, we achieved some great images.

I have always found Dave one of the easiest people to work with, even back when we first started shooting together. He's friendly, thinks about every shot and excels in headshots!

I just hope we will get the chance to work again together soon, on a one to one.

Dave organized an evening group shoot at Zan studio for me on my trip up North... great communications and very easy to work with. We had a car journey to get to know and I quickly realized that Dave is probably a bit of a legend... he's very informed about all sorts but not the ego to go with it...I bet everyone loves Dave. I would even consider making the 6 hour trip up North again for him and the guys! Thanks so much:>)

So I shot with Dave at my studio evening at Zan studio, what a lovely guy he is, picked me up from the station an dropped me back after the shoot. Made me feel really welcome and the shoot went really well. Dave is a really lovely down to earth guy, really easy to get on with an makes the shoot fun. Got some awesome images. I worked with the totally awesome Dave H today at a location shoot in the Lakes, he spent his day looking after the needs of all his guests and never fails to impress. I am very lucky to know this guy, he is a simply wonderful bloke, takes a wonderful image and has a smile all day long.

My development with a camera is due mainly to his patience and professional approach, if you need a photographer and want to meet a gentleman, Dave is 100% your man. Shoot with Dave..!

Another fabulous adventure with Dave yesterday. This time we headed to the Lakes with a group of photographers and me as the model and what a superb day it was.

All down to the brilliant planning of Dave and Graham. Dave was a star in organising the running of the day and making sure everyone was truly happy - which we were of course.

Well what can I say about Dave ..... firstly it was really great to be invited to model at his new studio, Zan Studios in Wigan and to be back in front of his camera again. Secondly Dave is a true professional in every sense of the word and had a huge part in my early modelling days. Dave is an amazing photographer who made me feel extremely comfortable from the get-go, the studio was professional and he made me a cup of tea on arrival and made sure I had all I needed, the shoot was very much my day and I loved how much he followed my ideas as well as providing really helpful direction. The few shots I've seen finished are incredible and I cannot wait to work with him again!

I met Dave today with a young model at his Studio, we had a master class in light set up camera work and Model work, He was professional and fun to work with as always, He mentored both myself and Jessica~Rachel, had some amazing ideas and made sure the shoot was a complete success, i am very proud to say i know this bloke and even more so that he gives his creativity and knowledge so wonderfully.

Dave is a Gent, makes me feel very confident and i know Jessica~Rachel will be back to shoot with him again.
