Upon my arrival Dave made sure the heating was on and everything was set up and ready to go!

Dave greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome and comfortable from the minute I stepped foot in his studio

We had a great laugh and was an amazing experience to work with Dave

I had a lovely shoot with Dave at his studio in Staverton. Pre-comms were fantastic; Dave told me exactly what he was after and the type of outfits/makeup that would be required for the shoot, so I felt very prepared on arrival.

The studio itself is amazing - a really open, fresh space with clean, tidy changing facilities and several beautiful backdrops to choose from. Would absolutely love to shoot there again.

Dave is one of the nicest photographers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. As well as being welcoming and hospitable, he is very kind and patient - everything you could ask for in a photographer!

We went through a few sets with a few outfit/backdrop changes and time seemed to fly by! Despite claiming to be a novice with his lights, with minimal trial and error, Dave set them up perfectly so that they produced a really lovely effect. The photos I have seen on the back of the camera look wonderful and I can't wait to see the final results!

I would highly recommend Dave to any model, he is absolutely fab. I'm looking forward to our next shoot together soon!

Dave came to one of my evening group shoots at Alastair Currills studio. There was five photographers that evening if i remember correctly. We all shot a mixture of things. Mainly shooting fashion and then some art nude. Me and Dave got on really well and i love the images he has uploaded from the evening. Thanks a lot for coming along and i hope we get to work together again soon.

What can I say about Dave with out copying and pasting references given years ago. Dave has been a regular of ours for a while and he is always on time (often early) happy to direct models with a polite manner. Happy to show back of camera shots to myself and the model. He away offers to help with any setting up and not afraid to ask questions as he is keen to know. Thank you for amazing an amazing support to us and cant wait to see you soon!

I met Dave at a group shoot and it was a pleasure to meet him and work with him on this fitness shoot.

He gave good direction when he wanted a certain angle or facial expression. He has a great eye for photography and knows what it takes to get a perfect picture!

He knows how to utilise the lights and the best place and angle to stand to get the most from the lighting in the studio and not create too much shadow.

He is chatty and very friendly and made me feel comfortable and confident in front of his camera! The time flew by, and I hope to work with him again in the near future!

Melanie Bond (Butler)

Dave and I shot on location at Pittville Park last Saturday - our aim was to capture some Autumnal Portrait / Lifestyle shots. Dave arrived early and checked out the location space for good shoot spots before I arrived. Dave was well organised and knew exactly the shots he was after from the shoot which is easier for me when we are working to a goal. We were lucky with the weather and so managed to walk around Pittville and shoot in the location spots that looked appealing. We then went onto F8 and did a two hour studio shoot focusing on Portrait Beauty and Pin Up styles. We already knew the ideas we were looking to shoot and so managed to work in the two hour time frame we had :)

Dave is a really nice down to earth Photographer and I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole shoot. I have always found Dave very easy to get on with - we have done a couple of group shoots together previously.

I would highly recommend Dave to other models because his Portrait work really stands out to me and I would love to shoot with him again if I got the chance. Thanks for a great afternoon Dave :) x

Dave came to our Pin Up Group shoot at F8 Studio Gloucester run by Paul Davies. I had worked with Dave elsewhere at a Group shoot previously in the past so it was nice we already knew one another and could have a catch up. Dave arrived on time and was well organised. He brought some of his own ideas to the Pin Up Group shoot which he was kind enough to check with me and the coca cola bottles made a nice addition to the shoot as a prop. Dave was respectful at all times and followed the structure of the Group shoot well. He was good at giving small direction to help us create some nice portrait images too. Dave fitted into our group well. Dave and I have already arranged another shoot for next month to develop our Pin up ideas further which I am looking forward to. I would therefore of course recommend Dave to other models! :)

Another great group shoot with Dave, We had model Stephanie Dubois with us for the evening. Dave was on time well actually early which is always good. He was very comfortable shooting and happy to show Steph the images and take feedback on board. Was not afraid to ask questions about the lighting and really enjoyed his company. Highly recommend and looking forward to seeing Dave on the next group shoots in 2020.

Dave came to the group shoot Alastair and myself were running last Sunday. From the start, I could tell Dave was a down to earth and genuine guy. I instantly felt comfortable shooting with him and he was respectful and professional at all times. Dave followed the workshop well and always waited for his opportunity to shoot. When we shot, he asked me to do a series of poses for his portfolio trying out different lighting effects.
