Studio Luminescence

Great to see Dave at another Studio Luminescence event this past Sunday, this time at our Sculptures and Shapes event with Georgia Brown.

As always it was a pleasure to host Dave who always brings a smile along to the day! He consistently works well with other photographers attending the event, integrating well with the group and sharing stories and experiences.

Pre-comms are also on point - its a very simple and easy process getting Dave booked onto events and this is always appreciated from our perspective.

Dave is one of the original members of the Studio Luminescence community and seeing him attending our events over and over is a real privilege for us. Dave is a talented photographer and someone we consider a friend we have made on our little journey as a studio and event host.

Dave came along to a photography night at PGD studios, and it was a delight to meet and work with him.

He was very respectful and friendly and just a lovely guy to chat to. The evening flowed along nicely and I hope I get the chance to work with him again!

Dave took part at an evening group shoot organized by creative photography event at PGD studio in Leicester with Beth Kate and myself as models.

Working with Dave was an absolute pleasure, he is professional, kind and friendly. He had ideas for images he wanted to achieve, and allowed myself and Beth to pose freely.

Turning up to our most recent Creative Photography Events, it was wonderful to see that one of the attendees was the familiar face of Dave! Hosted at PGD, it was a v familiar setting for the two of us… and this time Dave was shooting with me as a duo with my fellow yogi partner, LEnza! Throughout the 2 hours we worked our way through creative yoga based duo pose for set 1 and set 2 involved a more intimate, artistically subtle portraiture feel. As always, Dave shot us to the best of our ability and the images are looking incredible. Dave is not only a highly skilled photographer, but a truly lovely person and working with him is a breath of fresh air. Thank you always Dave - can’t wait for them next time! Highly rec (of course!).

I had a wonderful shoot today with Dave at PGD studios.

We had two hours together which flew by and we managed to capture some great and unique images!

Dave was very easy to work with, easy to talk to and very receptive to my ideas.

Our pre shoot comms meant I knew exactly what was expected of me and Dave was able to direct and come up with great ideas as well as allowing me to pose freely.

I would recommend Dave to models of all levels, thank you again for a great shoot!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Dave attended a group event organised by PGD Studios here at Basford Hurst Cottage.

It was a pleasure to welcome Dave to Basford, he worked really well alongside his fellow photographers in the group setting and was always respectful the models there that day. He made sure to ask if he needed anything and we were really grateful for the way in which he conducted himself around our location.

We would absolutely recommend Dave, and look forward to seeing the images he created here!! We would be happy to welcome him back to Basford again soon!! Thank you!!

Dave is an absolute pleasure to work with. I actually had such a lovely time, he's so easy going and happy to go with the flow. I felt very comfortable and at ease and enjoyed our little natter.

Not to mention we captured some really stunning images, which he was super speedy to edit. I also appreciated that he wasn't afraid to try out lots of different ideas.

Dave booked an hour on my duo studio day at RedTree studio in Nottingham with Lyra Winters and ended up booking another hour on top which we most definitely needed we all worked together so well!

Dave had some lovely ideas which I really enjoyed shooting and was very fun and easy to work with.

I have worked with Dave previously and he has attended many of my events/workshops held at my studio.

At the last event Dave mentioned he'd like to do an early morning golden light shoot so that is what we did!

It was a little bit short notice but organising it was a complete doddle! Dave's comms are fabulous!

So we met on an early summery (well sort of) morning and had a fabulous couple of hours making use of the duffused morning light.

The shoot actually flew by but we took some absolutely beautiful images! Dave is fabulous to work with, he's kind, considerate and also super willing to learn and improve.

He has a creative eye and is always looking for different depth and composition within his images.

I would highly recommend Dave to other models he's completely genuine, lovely and a fantastic photographer!...

It was an honour to have Dave book onto the sculptural art nude workshop I was modelling for at Studio Luminescence! We spent a full afternoon rotating round in intimate groups of 2’s and 3’s being led through tuition and shoot time, where I quickly learnt that Dave is not only a skilled artist but also a splendid person to spend time with. Not only was Dave open to learn and improve on his skillset, but he also had great moments of input of which I gladly followed his ideas/instruction. I am loving the imagesI have just seen and I very much hope to work with Dave again in the not so distant future. Thank you for a splendid afternoon Dave- highly recommend of course!!

We have had the pleasure of working with Dave on a number of occasions at our workshops and events at Studio Luminescence. The most recent being our Sculptural Art Nude workshop with Beth Kate.

As always Dave was a pleasure to host. He approached the workshop with enthusiasm and was encouraging to fellow attendees with less photographic experience. His warm and friendly personality always shines and lights up the room. It has been fabulous to be a part of Dave's photography journey, from the first time working with him to present day. Without hesitation we would recommend Dave to models and other studios.

I have worked with Dave on so many occasions now that I think I have lost count, and every time it has been an absolute pleasure.

Firstly I want to thank Dave for trusting me enough to join me in Iceland on my first ever (organised by me) abroad photo trip. I only hope that he enjoyed it as much as I did. The weather was against us from the get go, but the five of us crammed into our Dacia Dustbin were having so much fun that all the rain in the world couldn't dampen our spirits. We drove so many miles, saw so many incredible places together and never let the weather stop play.

Dave is a fantastic photographer, full of ideas and an infectious enthusiasm. It really doesn't matter if he's in a studio, under a torrential waterfall or in an ice lagoon, Dave will have his camera at the ready and a smile on his face.

I so hope that Dave will join us on a trip again in the future but in the meantime, any time I get the chance to work with him I will jump at it and I strongly suggest that anybody else do the same!

Thank You Dave! Firstly for trusting us enough to join us on our first photography trip abroad and secondly, for making it so great! It was an absolute pleasure spending time with you, adventuring and making beautiful images, and we really hope that you loved it as much as we did.

We dragged poor Dave and his cohorts out at all hours, 2AM... 4AM... and kept them out for hours on end as we drove countless miles to one stunning location after another. If they weren't ready for a rest afterwards then we definitely were, but they never complained a bit. You really have to enjoy a persons company to spend that much time, five up, in a relatively small car together and still be smiling at the end, but we all were.

We would gladly have Dave along on another adventure any time and we both sincerely look forward to seeing him again, be it for a shoot or just a social visit.

If you haven't had the pleasure of working with him yet then do not hesitate. Dave is a fantastic photographer and wonderful company.

As always, you arrived on time and ready to shoot, we had a quick drink, a huuuuge conversation and eventually started shooting HAHA.

Arranging the shoot was so easy with you. It was clear, direct and done and dusted within a few messages. A models dream!

Studio Luminescence

We were super pleased to welcome Dave back to Studio Luminescence for our Gelled & Oiled nudes event with Zara Fox. Dave attended our group workshop event focussed on different lighting set ups for use when shooting gels.

Dave’s pre-shoot comms were fabulous as always, we had him booked in with a deposit paid in no time at all.

On attendance, Dave’s warm and friendly personality shone through and he interacted well with the rest attendees. Dave is always willing to try new set ups and put what he has learned into practice. He poses some excellent questions and contributes incredibly well to workshops.

We are privileged to have Dave as part of our growing community of photographers, it is always great to work with him and to be a part of his portfolio.

We look forward to the next time we can welcome him back into the studio and create some more amazing imagery.

Studio Luminescence

Occasion Number 3 in a short space of time and counting, working with Dave - after he joined us for our Newton Inspired Film Noir night time street shoot yesterday.

As always, Dave's pre-shoot communication was spot on - very clear and concise. The event was fully paid for prior to attendance, which we very much appreciated.

Dave's personality and creativity always shines through on a shoot. He was able to approach the concept of night shooting with an open mind and willingness to experiment with the aspects of the environment to create some truly wonderful images, both candid and posed!

Dave is respectful, approachable and friendly to all on the event, including myself and Arabella who was modelling.

We recommend working with Dave without hesitation. Looking forward to occasion number 4 and many more in the future.

This time we switched up the location and you came to me for a Home Shoot. Even though I didn't arranging the last shoot with you as it was a Studio Workshop, this time communication was perfect. We arranged the shoot really quickly with no crossed wires.

You arrived on time and ready to shoot. The time flew by throughout the shoot! I don't have a negative thing to say about you or shooting with you. You are polite, friendly, funny, chatty but completely professional at all times!

During the shoot you were able to give direction if/when needed as well as just giving me an idea to put my own spin on.

It was a pleasure to welcome Dave on our ‘One Light Dramatic Nude’ Workshop.

Dave booked on to the workshop on the day of the event. His communications were clear and quick, and booking him in was a simple process. Payment was sent really promptly and efficiently.

Dave’s warm and friendly personality shone through on the day. He was respectful of his fellow participants, the model and the studio facilities. He asked some insightful questions that undoubtedly benefitted others in the course of the workshop. It was great to see Dave’s work throughout the workshop and the results of trying out the new techniques and set ups demonstrated.

We would highly recommend working with Dave in a studio and workshop environment, you will get yourself a photographer who is keen to learn and wonderfully friendly and respectful in the process.
