Well Darren was passing by and asked if he could come over and stay at Chateau Strato and also visit both myself and Rowan and join in one of our StatoNova shoots.

we've never worked with a male model during any of our shoots so far, so, seemed a good idea to start with the best one we know :)

Darren is an all round awesome guy, I've rarely had such a fun, polite, easy going and fantastic guest over, and he instantly took to the idea we had for a shoot and was a total professional.

We're already planning a shoot for next time he comes to visit and totally looking forward to it.

Top guy, top model, a real pleasure to have met him, nothing but praise :)

I had the pleasure to work with Darren at the Pit and Pendulm last week. It was a duo shoot with Faith Obae. They worked well together and had some good outfits to enable a good range of images to be created. I can recommend Darren to anyone as he work hard to make the poses you ask of him. I would work with Darren in the future.

Had my first shoot with Darren today. In fact it was my first male model shoot and honestly I could not have wished for a better model to work with for my first male shoot.

Not a lot needs to be said about Darren that his photos and port doesn't already say but I will say it anyhow. Pre coms were great and Darren brought a huge range of clothing so we had so many looks which made the shoot so versatile. In fact I think Darren tops the list for clothing brought to a shoot and that's saying something :)

I explained to Darren it was my first shoot so I wanted to try harder looks with the lighting and come up with some new lighting setups and he was more than happy and patient for me to potter about with my settings and I used his experience for honest feedback which from a model is always a positive learning tool to have at your disposal on a shoot. As well as being a super A Lister model, he is also great company and it was a pleasure to work with him and I will be shooting with Darren again soon on another project. We achieved so many top photos today and you cant wish for more than that.

It was great and real fun to work with Darren on Scott at Evergreen's gangster shoot! Who better than this man coulmd play the gangster in the dark alleys of London. Many laughs on this memorable shoot. I wish we can work together again very soon, and if he still needs to be recommended, I do it without any restriction.

And by the way, he is a great actor because in the real life he's far from the parts he plays for the photographers! Love you mate!

I have had the pleasure of working with Darren recently on a couple of shoots with different photographers. He responded to one of my casting and of all the male models that applied Darren stood out the most. Communications with him was brilliant, very easy to get on with, a true professional and an outstanding model. We created together some fantastic images I cannot wait to see and certainly looking forward to working with him again.

I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and definitely one of the best in his field!

I was so lucky to get to work with the amazingly talented Darren S during a shoot in Kensington on April 23!

We worked along with Horace Silver on a gangster style shoot, and Darren's approach to collaborating was amazing. He took an active part throughout the entire process, from helping generate ideas and masterminding the coolest outfit for the shoot. During the shoot, it was clear that Darren wanted us to get the best image possible. His awesome attitude, attention to detail, and participation in helping shape the ideas of the shoot made him an amazingly professional co-collaborator. Additionally, Darren sees his own modeling with the eye of a photographer, and is able to find ways to make each image compositionally stronger. It was amazing to get to work with such a multi talented and engaged model.

I highly recommend working with Darren S to anyone who really wants to work with one of the best in the business. He's an all star!

I was one of the lucky photographers who worked with Darren and Faith in a duo shoot. (see reference of Faith below) Darren is an outstanding male model, very impressive personality. Very professional and also socially a great person. Our pre shoot communication was great, we already had so much pleasure before we even met. Darren came in the shoot I already had with Faith, he adepted so easily. He is a real pro. The shots I was aiming for were not easy to achieve, but Darren was great, also the combination with Faith was one of a kind.

Hope I can work with Darren again, highly recommended.

Met up for a first shoot with Darren out and about on location in Cheltenham with Claire Topaz. Highly recommend Daz to everyone, a really genuinely nice and down to earth guy who is great fun to be with. Very relaxed and really engaged discussing ideas before the shoot adding some brilliant concepts and thoughts too. And then totally enthusiastic with trying any mad ideas out during the shoot. He absolutely adds 200% to the shoot - will definitely try and book Daz again and I really hope we get the chance to work on some more cool projects

I had my first shoot with Darren yesterday, photographed by Lightyear. We had a fun little adventure shooting out and about in Cheltenham. Darren carried me over a bridge and helped me climb rocks :) We jumped over hills and had a lovers tiff on a bench ;)

Darren is great company and a really lovely guy, he adds a lot to a shoot with his strong look and good imagination for picture ideas. Look forward to hopefully working together again one day!

I have just had a five hour shoot with Darren and Angel Price at Lizzie Bayliss' studio.

His communications were rapid and accurate. I asked him to bring some mud as we were going to do a rather messy set. A large tub of perfectly mixed mud came out of his car and at the right moment was perfectly wiped on is body and then transferred onto Angel with subtle aplomb. It was very cold outside with a biting wind, but there was not anything but cheerful conversation from him.

Darren is a brilliant, professional model and I recommend him to other photographers without any qualification

I had the pleasure of working with Darren today with Jpea at Lizzie Bayliss house on a five hr shoot .

Darren is very professional and really easy to work with and made me laugh in moments when I was supposed to be having a serious erotic face with his impressions of the gremlins ! Thanks for that Darren !! Lol x

From what I saw on the camera it looked like we had captured some good intense shots and Darren's strong look certainly made them come to life !

Darre brings a wonderful presence to an image and can express a range of moods and emotions.

We got some very nice images and the shoot was a pleasure from beginning to end.

I had the pleasure of (finally!) getting to shoot alongside Darren with Sepiashots at a home studio. Darren was just awesome to work with, completely at ease and comfortable with working with another model. Darren made my 'first time' working with a male model easy, relaxed and full of laughter. I worked with Daz today, alongside Katie Green, on a variety of ideas. A complete professional from the first email through to turning up on time, with an immense wardrobe. Pre-shoot comms were excellent, leading up to a proactive check a few days before hand to ensure that all was on track. A thoroughly pleasant, engaging individual. I can't recommend him enough to people and plan to work with him in the future.

Another shoot with Darren, and another great experience.

Darren puts in so much effort both before and during the shoot, and it really pays off. For this shoot, Darren had made an outfit from scratch, and it worked amazingly well. I can't begin to imagine how many hours went into making the outfit, and it really is appreciated. Without that level of effort, the shoot just wouldn't have been the same and the results would never have been as good.

Darren is incredibly professional, great with posing and playing characters, and we have lots of laughs in-between shots. Once we have done our agreed shots, we tend to do a few more random shots, as ideas just seem to flow when we work together. I am already looking forward to the next time we work together. It hasn't been agreed yet, but I will make it happen, as he is awesome and our shoots always produce amazing results :)

After months of planning to find a suitable date, I finally got to work with Darren on Sunday. The two of us headed down to Swindon to shoot with Marcus Jake, mainly focusing on contorted intertwined body shots. Darren was a delight to work with, really lovely guy and up for trying anything plus very funny.

A fantastic model (as can be seen from his pics) and a great professional and person, I hope it isn't our last shoot together.

Well I finally got around to shooting with the legend Darren today after 6 months of planning.

Pre communication was fantastic and Darren was open to my wacky ideas for this shoot adding his creative imput and ideas.

Darren turned up on time and is a lovely down to earth warm and friendly male model with no airs or graces.

Darren is funny charming and extremely handsome to boot with the most fabulous skin and freckles.

Darren knows how to pose his expressions are awesome and he gave 110% to this shoot.

I would work with Darren again in a heartbeat he's right up my street, we had a brilliant laugh a great time and the images look amazing! x

Finally got to work Darren and had the added bonus of Kes Wild involved too.

You can see from Darren's port that he has bundles of talent in posing and getting in to the role of a shoot - which is just what I need in a model. He came well prepared with outfits, props and accessories to fit the theme of the shoot. It didn't matter what whacky idea I threw at him, Darren was up to the task and the images we got are awesome.

A professional through and through and I would work with Darren anytime. Cheers mate - great day!

The first shoot with Darren was awesome and our second even better! He indulged me in my shot 'Man Outstanding in His Field'. The idea for the shot came about because I truly believe Darren is an outstanding model.. and it was a bit of fun, which sums Darren up. The committed side of Darren makes the ideas for shoots work, with his incredible attention to detail and immaculate presentation, but he doesn't take himself too seriously, making shoots enormous fun. We did a duo shoot this time with Harris - these two work tremendously together - the rapport they have is clear. Between us we found the location, put together the outfits and made up the story which worked out very well and there will be a sequel. Thanks guys, looking forward to the next one :)

Though he spent a lot of our last shoot together making me laugh at inopportune moments(!) I was delighted to work with Darren again last weekend; this time, with Karen(KK).

I loved running around a deserted airfield with Darren, getting our 007 on –we had a blast! Darren brought a huge amount of clothing with him, along with accessories to enhance the shoot. His ideas for the day were brilliant, too.

Fortunately, the series calls for a sequel, which means the three of us will get to work together again soon. I can’t wait! :)
