It was a pleasure to have Damien back in the studio for a full day recently with Mia Resa and Miss Eva MUA. As ever Damien's comms were super, and on the day he is the perfect studio client! Respectful of our studio and kit and even helped me with washing up and tidied up the studio at the end of his shoot what a star! He is a good laugh too, and the 4 of us had a great day, the back of cams look super too. Recommended by us and welcome back anytime :)

I had the pleasure of working with Damian at my studio day in Wolverhampton. We spoke the night before so I knew exactly what he wanted to achieve. Damian was very friendly, chatty and gave me directions and inspiration. I would recommend working with Damian whether you’re a new or experienced model!

I would love to work with Damian again one day!

I had a brilliant shoot with Damien! From the onset, he made me feel comfortable in his presence. We had a general outline for the shoot but together we were able to experiment even more and he definitely had the experience and knowledge to do this. Damien's communication was very good, he kept in touch prior to the shoot and after. I would definitely like to work with Damien again!

Today I had my second shoot with the wonderful Damien! The first time we shot was about a year ago! How crazy!! And I think we have both vastly improved in our fields - so I was so excited to see what shots we would get?

It was super great to see Damien again, look oki f so well and generally being his wonderful self! He dies make me laugh as he's always cracking jokes! He made me look great the first time we worked together and with the amazing location we were shooting in today it seemed destined that the shots today would be fab also... Which was definitely the case! I bloody love the stuff we shot! In particular the great art nude set with some really crazy shapes!!!

Damien came to the shoot on time, with a great bag of clothes + props, plus lots and f references to posts he liked etc which are always great to help the model understand the kind of thing the photographer is looking for!!

I had a pretty good idea of what we'd be shooting though as pre comms were great !! Damien sent me lots of examples of what we would be focusing on which was great!! And we did exactly what we had planned!!!

The shoot was very relaxed with lots of coffee breaks. Damien was kind enough to to let me take some videos during the shoot :) he made me feel super comfortable! Plus Damien was very respectful throughout and always made sure that Frank was dignified - particularly when doing some more creative poses!

Damien is a great photographer - he has great technical knowledge so shooting with him is quick and efficient!! Thank lus hrs fab at directing the model to get exactly the pose he wants - weather that be a 'just turn your head to the left' or a 'move closer to the light' end etc! He is committed totally and his great attention to detail really helps make the shots! But what I love most is that as he is always striving to get the best shot he really works for it!! He puts himself in awkward positions in order to get as good an angle as he can!!

He works just as hard as the model to get the shot which is probably why his images are so great!

Such a great shoot with lots of wonderful images that I'm proud to be part of! Had a great time - would love to work with Damien again and would highly recommend him!!

I had a great shoot with Damien on Sunday and really enjoyed the experience. As I am new to modelling and hadn't really shot in a studio before, I was initially really nervous..but after a short while, I felt comfortable and confident due to Damiens patience, clear direction and encouragement.

Damien has a great eye for detail and produces stunning images, showing you the shots as you go to help nail poses. Pre comms were brilliant and he was really easy to get a long with. I'd love to shoot with Damien again and really appreciate all his advice and tips to help me improve and move forward on my modelling journey.

I really enjoyed my full day shoot with Damien at my home/studio! He had awesome ideas, great style and is very creative. He brought some bits to add to my outfits too which worked well! We tried various set ups and kept it interesting the whole way. I love the photos that I saw and would definitely work with him again! Highly recommended :)

I love love love love love love love working with Damien. I’ve known him for quite a few years now and we’ve shot together about 7 times.

Sometimes humans just ‘get’ each other and me and Damien have a fabulous working relationship, he knows exactly how I like shooting/posing and the shoots are always filled with so much laughter.

If I were to give out awards, Damien would get ‘most improved’ photographer, having met him at the beginning of his photographic journey I’m blown away by how skilled he is as a photographer these days. Damien is technically extremely proficient and he has an abundance of amazing ideas (and wardrobe!). The images he took on our most recent shoot were absolutely stunning and I’m so pleased with how they turned out, everything we did seemed to work so well!!!!

He comes highly highly recommended from me and I look forward to shoot number 8!

I met Damien at an open day at the Natural Light Studio, and contacted him to arrangge a shoot after seeing his work.

I would class myself as a new model with not a great deal of experience, and Damien made me feel very comfortable.

He booked the studio and we corresponded a lot prior the shoot so that it was well planned. Damien also sent me a pinterest board, which allowed me to plan the appropriate outfits and look for the type of shoot we wanted to do.

He even sent me some documents prior containing guides of how to pose which I thought was a really nice touch and very helpful.

On the day he was very patient and I felt very comfortable, he gave lots of suggestions and guidence.

Would highly recommend and look forward to working with him again.

I met Damien for the first time this weekend after he booked my studio for a few hours to work with a chosen model of his. Communication was done very early and although Damien's model got injured last minute we tried to get back up based on his ideas before he finally managed to get a model to fill in for him. Wes easy to get along with on the day and worked well with the model throughout. I would happily recommend and welcome Damien back in the future. Thanks, Simon

I love working with Damien! I literally cannot believe that so much time had passed since our first encounters... equally I cannot believe that this most recent creative encounter was our first proper 1 to 1 shoot having only shot in group/workshop situations prior... LONG OVERDUE! :P

We shot at PurePreston Studio... My first ever visit as it was Damien's and it couldn't have been a more last-minute success than it was! He dropped me a message the day before to say he was travelling up and I was free... Must have been barely 3 messages and we were all booked like "see you tomorrow then!" That's some hardcore organisational skills for you! :D

We arrived at about the same time to the studio and began checking out the various opportunities; the natural light available was really beautiful so we got cracked on making our way through the various sets covering a whole host of looks... The nice thing about working with Damien is that he will let the model interpret a scene and suggest outfits and generally be a part of the whole creative process. We had less than 24 hours to plan anything, so pretty much all the sets were improvised on the day but you know what: the images looked bloomin' fab! Some mega quality production with Damien working non-stop to get the light working nicely around the image (not easy at times when light is literally everywhere!) but he bossed it. :) He's got good visions and will suggest things, offer direction but also listen to the models suggestions too. It was teamwork rocking at it's best for sure!

It's been really nice actually to catch up with Damien and see how his personal style/eye as a photographer has progressed. He's really good! The images he was taking of me looked bloody beautiful on the back of the camera and I took more back of the camera shots (kindly okay-ed by Damien) than I could fit into my little behind-the-scenes collage thing! :P

Good fun, amazing productivity and lovely company too. When a photographer suggests banging some music on before the model does, they are already rocking the flow! :D But the fact that Damien is a really kind, courteous and respectful gent makes it just a shoot a would 1000% recommend for any model of any level. He's a genuinely nice guy and very easy to work with... I most certainly look forward to working together again and hopefully not as big a gap in-between shoots this time! :P

I had a studio shoot with Damien this week at MAAN Studios and it was a pleasure!

He arrived with a smile on his face and was very polite. Damien come fully prepared and even brought along some items of clothing and jewellery for me to try out.

Damien was very professional and make me feel 100% comfortable. We both had an input on ideas and finished with some beautiful gel shots.

Overall, Damien is a true gent and I would be honoured to work with him again. Can't wait to see the edited images! 😊

I shot with Damien yesterday. We set up a shoot on a last minute notice, despite the fact the location was great and he even offered me to pick me up and drop me off as the location was quiet a bit away. the conversations as well as the shoot were amazing. We got along very well, he behaved truly professional and the images came out great. He was open to collaborate, but also knew what he was doing and had his own ideas.

I would highly recommend shooting with Damien and I am looking forward to create with him again in NYC or Vienna next time!

Damien was an attendee at an event organised by Walter's Wardrobe, so I only got to work with him for a brief section of the day but he was really pleasant, professional and good to shoot with. He used some of the time to put up a brilliant lighting set which set off the colours of the outfit I was wearing so incredibly. Awesome he was thinking outside the box, producing such striking imagery! :-D I look forward to seeing more of his portfolio and would happily work with him again.

Damien booked in on my studio day at Joel Hicks Photographic .

This was my first time working with Damien and what can i say it was an absolute pleasure . Damien arrived on time and was friendly and great to talk to from start to finish . He is also very considerate to models safety during shooting making sure that they are always ok and have breaks when needed .

Damiens communication is excellent . He provided me with a plan for our shoot and a mood board . Therefore I knew exactly what to expect from our shoot and knew exactly what the pack . I also could refer to his mood board to ensure I was posing along the lines of what he was looking for . Damien is clearly creative his styling in his shoot notes ate thought out .

Overall i had a great shoot , it was productive , getting through several looks and he was a pleasure to work with.

Today was wonderful! Damien is such a top bloke, I was put right at ease from the start. He is a real professional who was able to give direction and welcome advice. The time absolutely flew by and there are some truly cracking images. We got through a whole bunch of sets and really used the space!

Cannot wait to work together again!

I had a fabulous shoot yesterday with Damien at Hallam mill. It's always refreshing to do contemporary dance on a shoot as this is my favourite style as well as a little pointe and vintage fashion. Pre-communication was excellent and it was lovely to finally meet Damien. Overall, I would highly recommend him and hope to work with him again.

After seeing some of Damiens work and loving what I saw i decided to approach him for a shoot and I was really excited that he agreed! I hadn't shot in a long time and was really stressed but he assured me it would all be fine! We discussed in detail what we would like to achieve. Travelling to the studio together we got on really well and conversed a lot, super easy to get a long with and no awkwardness what so ever! He was very professional in his approach taking care with the lighting he chose and the gels. He even brought some clothing for me to wear and it added amazingly to the outfit I brought! (Impressed!) The final images were lovely and he let me pick the ones I wanted him to edit! Looking forward to shooting with him again and comes highly recommended from me :)
