Creatives Photography

The Creatives Photography team comprises Dimitri, Kevin and Steve. Collectively we have around 100 years photography experience and we are experienced in shooting most genres including portrait, fashion, Old Masters, fine art, children, dance, editorial, glamour, art nude and cosplay.

We are based out of a studio located in an old mill at AWOL in Manchester, M4 7JA. The studio is fully equipped to shoot strobe, continuous LED and natural light.  The latter being through a large old mill window.  Within the studio we have a curtained area for models to change and get ready, and comfy seating on either a low black couch or a luxurious red leather chair. There is a free customer car park and easy access via public transport, being so close to Manchester Piccadilly railway station.  We have access to a nearby kitchen, with tea and coffee provided, and there is also easy access to toilets.

We run a monthly weekend creative photography event at the studio for fellow photographer to practice and expand their portfolio with a range of styled genres as above, with models and makeup artists arranged by ourselves.

We are also going to be running midweek evening social shoot group events from 7-10pm where for £10 photographers can drop in and photograph a model, try different photography techniques, socialise with other photographers and grab a brew.  

In addition we provide one to one training on most topics of photography and post processing. 

We also rent the studio space most weekends and weekdays after 5pm.   For now, we have held our studio rental cost at pre-pandemic introductory rates of only £15 per hour, normally with a minimum booking of 4 hours, and discounts for whole day bookings to £110 for 8 hours.  This rental cost includes full access to our wide range of Godox strobe lighting and modifiers, and continuous LED lighting, shooting against white or grey walls, or black curtains, or our fabulous natural light mill window.  During your booking one of us will be available if you need any advice, or we can be discretely waiting for you in a separate area while you have your fabulous studio shoot.
